Howare ya all today > wow I just cant believe a forum would be this large w/ so many members , guess there are allot folks now using e cigs . Anyways im a newbie here and need of some assistance as I desperately would like to quit smoking and think an e cig would be a helpful tool . Last few days i have done some research and now ready to purchase an e cig ASAP but need help finding the right brand.

HoweverI would like to find one that tastes like real tobacco full flavor (reg taste -non menthol) . Love to give it a trial , so much would like this to work but am very skeptical now since the one brand I tried did not give me a good impression at all . The brand was called logic black label and it tasted to me like anaromaic Tijuana cigar, not at all like a reg smoke.

Now for my Q's
Is this common for all e cigs ?
Or was it just that brand?
Or possibly b/c of aftermarket cheap e cigs?
Again I had no satisfaction because of the taste ... Is this common forall e cigs????

please advise a good company that I can try who's flavor would taste close to a reg full flavor non menthol cigarette.

Btw
I would like to buy astarter kit ASAP and have narrowed down to a few companies that have had good reviews..However I am hoping a better quality product would at least taste like a full flavor smoke .
Thanks in advance for any info

Recommending juice is hard. Not everyone will have the same opinion on the same brands. And as you vape more and smoke less your taste buds will heal and things will taste different. Unfortunately finding the perfect juice is not an easy process. Most suppliers offer sample packs. I recommend you get a few samples from different suppliers to see who might make something you like.

Me personally I have tried a few different tobacco flavors and not liked any of them. I went to fruit and have been a happy vaper since.

As far as starter kits go there are quite a few I could recommend. I personally started with and still use a Volcano Inferno. I've ready many posts recommending an eGo. I hear they are decent little devises. And the eGo is fairly inexpensive.

Newb here, too.

I'm using a mini 510. Thing is, it doesn't matter, what matter is the juice you use. So far I've sampled 6 bottles of halo, 3 of them meant to be 'tobaco-like'. Look, let me give it to you the hard way: if you think vaping PG is going to taste the same as inhaling burning paper and dead leaves, it ain't going to happen :)

That said, I recommend you did what I did and buy a cheap starter kit (that's mine: Boge 510 Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit) and try out a bunch of samples from the various sites out there. I think we newbs make a huge mistake: confronted with choices, we freeze like rabbit in the headlights over the cost of a 21 quid purchase. Last time I checked, that's 2 packs of Marlboro light. Say you don't like it, you're not really much worse of than when you started.

I'll let the great forum users answer the bit about the juice :)

I started vaping 11 days ago but I did a lot of research on your same concerns. I smoked half to a full pack a day and used a can of Copenhagen a day(all day I had a dip in). I haven't smoked at all and I still have half a can left from when I started vaping 11 days ago. I'm going to throw out what's left. I wanted to buy a starter kit too but I didn't want to waste my money. So, I bought an ego twist kit from elite vapor works online. I upgraded the kit to the 1000 mah batteries. It came with 2 batteries and everything you need to get started. I also bought a few clearomizer too because they were recommended. The kit came with a 30 ml bottle of juice of your choice. People recommended ry4 to be similar to cigs so that's what I bought. I told them I was new and asked if they could throw in a sample or 2 and they did. Black and mild is great and I would recommend that instead of ry4. I also bought 30ml of strawnanna All together it came to like 80 shipped. The kit itself was about 60. I'm not trying to rep out elite vapor works but that's just who I used because they're prices were good and they had everything I wanted.

Id go with a ego c starter kit. It produces a good smoke like vapor, with good flavor. They are not terrible expensive.

As far as juice goes... I haven't yet found one that tastes like a full flavored CIG. I'm sorry to say, but there will b some give and take on this level. ID get a few sample packs, and go from there.
For me, it wasn't so much the flavor that I needed,(cigs taste like poo anyway) it was more about the nicotine content, and throat hit/vapor production. But.. Yrmv.

You won't find an e-cig that tastes like any real cigarette.

It's physically impossible to create the taste of burning tobacco in a flavor for e-juice that is used in e-cigs. If you waste time trying to find it and gauge your success around finding that flavor, you are setting yourself up for failure.

Having said that, there are some tobacco flavors that might be "acceptable" for you to use to quit smoking. I smoked Marlboro menthols, and my first juice was an Ice Menthol. It didn't taste anything like a Marlboro menthol, but it was close enough to get me off of cigarettes.

If you truly want to quit smoking, vaping can greatly assist in that task. It will replace the nicotine that your body is dependent upon. It allows you to vape harder to get more immediate doses of nicotine for when you really crave a cigarette. It also allows you to continue the hand-to-mouth ritual that is ingrained in our personality. And it allows you to fill your lungs with vapor, a decent substitute for the smoke a cigarette provided.

It's more difficult to use an e-cig than just lighting up a cigarette. You have to be committed and willful. But it most definitely can work.

I have almost stopped chasing the cigarette flavor. After 7 vendors I'm pretty sure I'll never find it. I have found some that taste like tobacco but not like a burning cigarette...I know that doesn't make sense right now, but it will once you get started. Don't let that stop you. You can find flavors that will keep you from smoking and that's the ultimate goal.

The eGo twist is a great starter device. I'd stay away from the cigarette look a likes. The battery life just sucks.

Now on to the tough question. Juice. You will NOT find a cigarette flavor as you have found out. I want to elaborate on this a bit more. This doesn't mean this will not work for you. You'd be surprised at how little the importance of it tasting like a cigarette really is. The satisfaction really comes from the nicotine and to a point throat hit. Now that doesn't mean that you won't appreciate tobacco flavors. Notice I said to tobacco flavors not cigarette flavors.

When I first started I like you was dead set on finding a cigarette flavor but I did take others advice and ordered some other flavors along with other flavors I thought I'd like. I found out real quick that they were right.

Now on to how to appreciate tobacco flavors. First you need to wrap your head around the difference between tasting something you eat and tasting vapor. Tasting vapor is kind of tasting how something smells if that makes sense. When you eat a strawberry you get texture, the juice of the berry, ect. Vapor can't have those characteristics, but it does have more flavor then just smelling something. With that said if you smell a nice pipe tobacco or even a pack of cigarettes that is what you'll learn to appreciate in a good tobacco flavor.

If I were you I'd 1st concentrate on finding a flavor I like and concentrate on quitting smoking. Later if you still want to go on the quest for the best tobacco flavor have at it. I went on a quest to find the best chocolate as it is a really hard flavor to nail. The quest in itself was fun but I had juice I liked and wasn't worried about going back to smoking.

I'd recommend Heather's Heavenly Vapes. They have some really great flavors at decent prices and have some great NET (naturally extracted tobacco) tobacco flavors if you NEED to order some. Keep in mind NETs need 1-2 weeks to steep.

I spent a long time being disappointed by tobacco e-liquids until I started trying NET juices. Like others have said, nothing will replicate the "burning" taste of cigarettes, but there are many juices with true tobacco flavor, especially if you enjoy pipe tobacco. My personal favorite is Ahlusion's Blue Grass Burley. The taste reminds me of expensive Nat Sherman cigarettes I used to enjoy.

Like many have said, it's hard to fine a "real" tobacco taste. I have used Logic in desperate times... You will def find a MUCH better flavor then that crap. Give it a try with a starter kit, it is well worth it. It really just takes time to get used to the different flavors - I was a parliament smoker & found that the Turkish tobacco is best for me.

Right now I'm using V2... I'm switching to the Volcano Inferno... Don't make the same mistake I did, go for a bigger more powerful e-cig... That way you don't have to buy 2 starter kits like I did...V2 did its job for a year, but I am looking for something better. Inferno is it for me! Can't wait to get it...

Wow!! Holy smokes you guys are really into this . From what I have read on this forum it seems y'alll enjoy vaping more than smoking .lol... or should/ I say “Holy Vapes” I didn't realize how big this was until the last few days of searching for alternatives..
BIG THANKS for your help . Now I cant believe that I am actually going to finially do away with the smokes. However I may become addictive to vaping (if I choose to ) and enjoy it all the more. Tell me that cant happen??

Anyways with that said i will say , I have a love hate relationship with smoking as I have smoked almost 30 years and now hate it so much that don't even like the taste but smoke bc I needit like it...If that made sense .. I have tried to quit many of times a never felt that the option was pleasurable and came out of my skin each time. .BTW I was considering an e cig starter kit from one of the popular manufactures. but now I am not so sure if thats the place to start.

More Suggestions appreciated from you ex smokers.
Thanks big time

Now in the last 72 hours I have read ,saw and tried a few options that I never considered was an alternative to smoking . I have tried only a few e cigs .brands ( ya know those junky ones sold at gas station .) Btw The first one I tried had vanella in it thats why it tasted funny to me

Guys Please keep info coming . I have a feeling I am going to like the options available and or the juice that is used in vaping .

Please suggest a few starter kits that have all you need in one place in one kit . If ya dont mind plese share a few US based companies , websites , links and brands to start of with.
If so a place to get samples of the juice along with a starter kit. Your recomendation of flavor is ok too
Thanks again for all your help and support

Hey Kenny, I personally don't like to buy "starter kits" because they often come equipped with stuff I know that I won't use. They are often off-brand knockoffs of genuine quality manufacturers that likely won't work or work for long. You don't always get what you pay for.

I put together an ideal starter setup for a couple of other newbies in the following link. These are reasonable prices for name brand, genuine Joye, Vision, and Kanger products. This setup provides 2 options of batteries, a charger, optional wall adaptor, and choice of 2 types of juice carrying devices. Requires purchase from two different vendors. Both are reputable US vendors with fast shipping and excellent customer service. All for less than $100.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/369128-what-kit-start.html#post8306912

(How much did you spend on cigarettes last month? Spend the same on your first setup. Once you have the gear, recurring costs are limited to just juice and juice replacement devices.)

This setup is easy peasy to learn to use. I also listed links to two of my favorite e-juice vendors.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/369128-what-kit-start-2.html#post8306912o 12mg from 24mg. For the time being, I'm content to remain with that amount.

Personally I think that the eVic or Sigelei Zmax would be a great starter kit. Yes there is a bit more of a learning curve but you will save yourself money in the long run. You will start seeing people talking about variable voltage and variable wattage and mor than likely end up with something along those lines anyway. Plus if you end up deciding that vaping isn't for you it's easier to recover some of the initial costs as people will buy either one. Where as what others may have suggest like the eGo twist or eGo 18650 are hard to sell as most vapers are looking for something past the entry level setups. In my experience most people end up going to a vv or vw device anyway.
Here's a link to the eVic

And here's the Segelei Zmax
http://shop.vaporheads.net/NEW-SS-SIGELEI-ZMAX-VVVW-RMS-SSZMAX.htm

Do a YouTube search for each to learn about each of them. If you have any questions just ask anyone on here or PM me directly. I'm on here multiple times every day. I quit smoking over 2 yrs. ago and have used everything from an ego, to vv, to vw, to hybrids and rebuildables. I'm not trying to say I'm an expert on every mod out there but I will be able to answer most of the questions you have.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the advise It makes total sense now as I have read the testimonies of many folk here . After a few days of reading searching , I strongly believe I WILL LIKE a flavor some flavors or a bunch ( other than tobacco or anything remotely similar ) to crappy analog smokes... It don't matter I get it now.... thanks . :2cool:

With all your recommendations I went ahead and purchased some hardware along with a bunch of quality juices from a bunch of different suppliers.
Well today I have good news and bad news. After a few e cig trials I still am sooooo dissatisfied with what it offers. However I still have lots of hope that getting a premo vape kit and accessories. will and get rid of my old addiction.

Now I am exited yet anxious to get vaping because I am still having some issues with the e cigs I bought a bunch to hold me over . Good news is I have cut my analog smoking by 70% but still awaiting for Mr Mailman to bring all the goodies Hopefully By Wednesday I will have my new set up. Monday I should have lots of juices and a varieties to drool over till my kit arrives. Pray for me over the weekend

Ok on to the Questions . The E cigs Plainly simple they stink.... Head fog groggy ect...
I am getting headaches and feel like crap..... does anyone know what can be causing it? Ohh some times a hit hurt too. NO I Am not over using them. Basically supplementing about 30-40 puffs a day . And I am traditional pack of day smoker.
What do you think is up ?
Btw I am highly aware of detox, drinking plenty of fluids, taking antioxidants and the like.

So tell me what do you think is going on and Whats with these things ???

Ps no worries I know ill get through this for some reason I dunno but think im gona enjoy this more than smoking .Thats all the goodies... parafanila , gadgets , instruments devices, ...... yea yea, yea im an old time smoker/ toker ...Had everything u can thing of and then some........:vapor:
