I havnt found a juice that tastes like "cigarette" but i have found one that tastes like fine pipe tobacco...

People have recommended ones that taste like "cigarettes' to me in the past, only to find out that they never smoked real cigarettes, so they have no idea what it tastes like!

I was amazed at how much the johnson creek Silvertongue tastes like really good pipe tobacco. Unfortunately for me, i cant vape it becuase it hurts my throat after a while...

I like johnson creek tobacco flavors though, honestly, almost all of them taste like fine pipe tobacco...

taste is all personal preference though.

You're probably dehydrated. Vaping has been known to cause that. Supplement your vaping with lots of water.
Could it be the dang brands of ecigs im using
personalty I dont think its a dehydration issue here. Cuz on average I drink 8-10 bottles ( 16.9 Oz each ) of water every day .. at work I fill up ever hour on the hour from an O2 cooler unit and at home I have an RO unit under my sink. I have been drinking half my body weight (in ounces) of water for years.

The last week I been making sure I am well hydrated taking plenty of ant-i oxes as well.

Any other ideas?

What do you think is up ?
Btw I am highly aware of detox, drinking plenty of fluids, taking antioxidants and the like.

So tell me what do you think is going on and Whats with these things ???

Hi, Kenny!

As for the bad hits, have you read this article in the ECF library?

And the lightheaded feeling could actually be a result of quitting smoking. For the first week or so, your body will be re-adjusting to the lack of carbon monoxide from cigarettes. Basically, as a smoker, your body has more oxygen carrying red blood cells... what you're experiencing could be a result of the extra oxygen. If that's the case, it will go away after the first week or so.

I don't want to go against your original request, but I would feel bad not saying this...

And please don't take this the wrong way...

Try not to be so narrow minded when it comes to your transition from smoking to vaping. I have many friends who I have converted to vaping here in the recent past. Most of them had your same sentiment... I only want something that tastes like a real cigarette. With the mind set, of course, that if it tastes like a real cigarette, you won't be so inclined to smoke a real cigarette.

My advice to you would be that 1) You really will be hard pressed to find a juice that's going to taste like burning tobacco... 2) You probably aren't addicted to the flavor of burning tobacco, and you'll find that after a short period of time you may even come to hate both the flavor and smell of burning tobacco.... 3) You have to be committed to quitting smoking... IT WILL BE HARD!!! But every time you want a cigarette, you pick up that eCig and you puff away on it and you fight that urge to smoke until it goes away... Willpower is the key here, there is no magic potion juice that's going to help you with that. After a couple of weeks, those urges will subside and you'll be well on your way to quitting forever...

I tried a tobacco flavor, and found it horrible... Then I tried a vanilla, and it was much better... Then I tried a cherry, and it was awesome... Then a peach, and was like BAM, there it is! Biggest thing is to find a nicotine level that won't give you the shakes... Start out on the high side... 16-24mg/mL... If you find that to be too much or not enough you can move from there... I wouldn't go over 36mg...

Personally I started at 16mg, and quickly moved from 16mg to 8mg, and now I use 6mg. If you don't vape very often, go with a higher nicotine content, if you chain vape, a lower level might be better...

I vape a LOT, so I'd imagine I get just as much nicotine vaping 6mg as others do vaping 24mg...

So keep that in mind...

The beauty of vaping is that we don't have to vape smoke anymore... We can theoretically choose any flavor we want! I mean, there are vendors out there selling BACON flavored juice... BACON!! Bleh!! But you know, maybe it's fantastic... Maybe you'll love vaping a medium rare steak with some hickory smoke flavor added? Who knows! LoL... But If you can think it, someone probably makes it...

There are so many flavors out there, it's unbelievable and a bit overwhelming... But, if you broaden your horizons just a bit, I think you'll find vaping can be a huge gateway to a cigarette free lifestyle!

Good luck to you! I hope you find a flavor you really love! I'd be willing to bet, it probably won't be a tobacco flavor! ;)

I've only been at this for a couple of weeks, and I too was bound and determined to smoke a pure tobacco flavor. what I've found is mixing about 2/3 tobacco with 1/3 something sweet works great for me. Pal Mal and Toffee? Wow, delicious! I didn't smoke menthols, but I like it for vaping. Also the fruity and citrus flavors. Keep an open mind, experiment, and stay with it.

Hard to say with any certainy. One possibility is an adverse affect or sensitivity to one of the components in the e-lquid.

Most e-liquid is a mixture of pg (propylene glycol), vg (vegetable glycerin), flavoring agents, and pure nicotine. Some people have adverse reactions to the pg that might be like what you are experiencing. No way of knowing for certain, but I would guess most of the disposable e-cigs use juices that have a higher ratio of pg than vg in them. Once your regular e-juices arrive observe if your headaches continue. I'm betting they will fade and disappear. If not, you might want to try some 100% vg juice. Virgin Vapors and Vaprite both offer 100% vg juice and also offer smaller sized bottles in sampler packs to try multiple flavors before spending a lot of money on larger bottles that you may not care for.

Too much nicotine in the system can cause headaches, as well as shakiness or the jitters. Much like too much caffeine ingestion. I wouldn't think this would be likely in your case, as you are still using analogs supplimented by the disposables, or vice versa.

It could be some withdrawal from your usual dose of cigarettes. We all know that there are literally hundreds of chemicals in cigarette smoke, and many of them have an addictive quality to them.

Kenny,
I started with 3 of the highly marketed 808 suppliers. Now I have an Ego-T and have tried several juices from other suppliers. I by no means consider myself to be an experienced vaper, but I haven't had a cigarette in over a year. I love many of the juices that I have tried for different reasons, but when I want a cigarette, V2's Sahara and Congress liquids are about the closest I have found to the analog experience. I started with 18mg to make sure I didn't go back to analogs and then backed it off to 12mg once I was comfortable. I think many of the juice suppliers have wonderful flavors, but when I vape those I am vaping them for their specific properties and complexities more than to replace analogs. Sahara and Congress got me off analogs and when an analog is what I want it is still Sahara and Congress that I turn to.

It's withdrawal man. 30-40 puffs a day is nothing. Most of us are in the 100s of puffs a day category. Puffs per cigarette and puffs per electronic cigarette don't equal the the same amount of nicotine.I do echo the water suggestion though. Vaping does dehydrate you. Plus give yourself a little break. You're just starting. When I first started vaping it took about 2 weeks for me to finally give up that 1st cig in the morning ritual. You're attitude is spot on though. Just don't beat yourself up over it. The disposables do suck, don't let that get you down the better units perform light years better than what you're using. Out of curiosity what hardware did you end up going with?

I would have to say put your money on an evic if you want something that is going to hold you over. It does everything everyone likes right now . Vv/vw. And comes with a big enough battery to last a day or more for most vapers. it is updatable as well via a computer to save you from having to buy a new version of a zmax every few months. And it satisfys my tech geek side.

Hey Kenny,

Sounds like you're on your way. I would guess the headache's are due to withdrawl. Once you have a proper PV you will note an immediate difference. Try different nicotine levels. I started at 18 mg. Perhaps you arent getting enough nic out of the low end e-cigs and that is causing some withdrawl.

My starter tip would be this. Get extra batteries and lots of juice. Once you start you might not want to smoke anymore, I didn't, and not being able to vape would be a real drag.

Most of the tobacco flavors have more of a pipe tobacco taste to them. I smoked Marlboros and Camels for years, and never really found an ejuice that duplicated them. However, Mistic full flavor was okay (kinda of a Camel taste to them). Blu's Classic has a strong pipe tobacco taste to it.

From Johnson Creek, Domestic is close to Blu's Classic but not at much pipe taste. Marcado tastes like clove cigarettes, which I have smoked, too, but it has strong hints of cinnamon and cloves.

From JuicyVapor, Turkish Blend is good and reminds me of Camels. All of their flavors are strong.

Once you vape for awhile, you don't need the tobacco taste as much. Had you told me at the beginning that raspberry would soon be a favorite flavor, I would have laughed at you. It's all comes down to personal taste, and all companies have sample sizes. You kinda of have to try a bunch of stuff to see what works for you.

When it comes to tobacco juices Heather's Heavenly Vapes http://www.heathersheavenlyvapes.comhas some of the best NETs (naturally extracted tobaccos) around. Prices are great. They are very popular in the community and have a bunch of other really good juices.Just remember tobaccos NEED to steep.Much more so than any other types of juices. A couple other really good recommendation are sweet tobaccos. RY4s from lots of different vendors are really popular (including Heather's Heavenly Vapes) and the most popular tobacco flavor is by far Bobas Bounty from Alien Visions E-Juice. http://www.avejuice.com

Keep up the good work man. You'll get there.

.Thanks guys been learning allot from day one.... Wish I knew about E cigs / vaping awhile ago id already be though the withdrawal. Im Ok ill get through, been though worse times . Ya mon.. im cool as long as I know it gets better besides I know my body quite well … so what I believe I am experiencing is 3- fold . For one I was not drawing correctly . 2ndly the e-cigs I got are probably chepo's . And 3rd ly “ Yup” withdrawal gots to be that . To go from a 30 year old habit pack a day. To hand full of smokes in five days w/ a few puffs on an electric pen just wont cut it.
As far as the flavor taste needing to be a tobacco im over that .. I can totally understand and visualize having a satisfying experience vaping other flavors. It makes sense one day I know im gonna find my sweet spot and experience as I explore. I get it ...cant wait till the day I share with some of you folks of how to master / create a before dinner toasted almond vape experience . What juice mixture ,setting and how it was delivered. Or how bout an after diner capicino of course topped w/ a touch of cinnamon.
At this point There are a few things have going for me . One is the last few years of smoking I cant stand the taste as it is . Smoked cuz I needed/ wanted it.. Wuz my drug of choice , but smoking tasted like a dirty ash tray. One reason I am sick of smoking in the first place .
Another reason why I know ill be ok and like vaping is isbc I already have a keen sense of smell and sensitive pallet , love to cook and know how to mate flavors together that will excite the taste-buds. Cant wait till I get my kit and juices.

As far as my hardware “Top secret” till I put it all together .Btw I am a machinist and work for a Co. that manufactures electronic instruments . . Already have prototype in the works just waiting on the rest of the parts to assemble. ( mini bourd) Next to do a dry run/ burn thereafter add the juice and to fire her up. Put it this way it will be a double chamber hitter.
Na Im only kidden bro .. well not the fact that I am a machinist and can build one. But that I have a prototype in the works .. Sounds like an great idea tho.
Anyways I decided to go with the inferno. Mainly first recommend was given need to get a now quick set up > something simple slim line and ez to conceal and get vaping ASAP. After seeing some other kits im a little disappointing it did NOt come with the case . I think thats lame cuz I need something for on the run . However prob wont be long till i have a few larger set ups w/ var voltage, quality bigger tank and delivery system
.Im still learning all this, however id like to put one together soon .But has to be an old fashion one.. Cuz i like to build stuff that I can call my own creation.. Any ideas?

Once you get yourself set up I would recommend a genesis style atomizer. You rebuild the actual atomizer. Plenty to tinker and play around with. If you are really into building things I would recommend http://www.madvapes.com They have all kinds of DIY supplies. From switches, to blank boxes to start your own mod, acrylic tubes to build mods ect.

First focus on getting off the stickies though.

I have to say, I haven't smoked a cigarette in months, but I'm still a cigar nerd. I don't inhale them obviously, so I don't worry about them. Vaping keeps me away from the cigarettes totally.
I have found that Heathers Heavenly Vapes has the most authentic true tobacco taste that I've tried to date. They have many if them and each I can say tastes exactly like an unlit cigar smells. It's pretty amazing. Serendipity, legend and huntsman are my favorite. Serendipity tastes exactly like the Java cigar from Rocky Patel and Drew Estates
You won't find the burnt ash flavor in vaping, but you can get true tobacco flavor.
After vaping for a while, a cigarette will taste like straight up burnt manure and chemicals. You'll wonder how you ever dealt with it.

I was not able to stick with the tobacco flavors. None of them tasted like my Marlboro. If I had stuck with the tobacco flavors, I am sure I would have quit the vapor. Some people are able to do it. I chose to try flavors. If you can't find a tobacco flavor that does it for you, think about your favorite food/drink flavors. I am smoking coffee.

Good luck!

KV,
I would suggest you look at Parkes Vaping. They have the closest tobacco flavors I have found. Plus they have a ton of all kinds of flavors and offer sample packs at a very reasonable price. They also have great customer service.
My 1st order with them included 2 sample packs, 1 tobacco assortment & the other with completely different flavors.
They have a liquid called Ashtray, & it's actually very good. I wound up getting a bigger bottle of it on my next order.
Tobacco flavors are still among my favorites & can be mixed with others to really make things interesting.

Out of all the tobacco flavors I got, I liked Ashtray, Dark Vapure & Wyatt Earp.
I don't like cigar, sweet or perfumy flavors which seems to be the problem with other brands I've tried. That's because there is no way to replicate that burning nasty taste.
You might be surprised with their tobacco's & it's worth trying them via samples.
There are reviews of many of their flavors & be sure to put together your own samples. The pre-packaged tobacco sampler is mostly that sweet & perfumy type & probably due to the owner [very helpful] liking that kind of taste.

It's always good to get samples when you can, so you don't wind going broke buying liquids you cant stand.
Give them a try & good luck.
