Aegis Boost anyone know how to get the rubber cap piece back in the pod?

Hello short and sweet . Any combat ready trained aegis boost owners out their who have just put to much tug on the little rubber cap causing it to pop out with an anchor stopper to keep it in but, in reality makes it impossible to put back in have any tips/tricks to get her in. Thank you.
