Got mine in the mail today, finally.. I don't know if they fixed some of the issues in the later batches or not but i'm not having many of the issues some of the others are. I screwed the deck tight on my hex ohm built it, wicked it, then screwed the barrel down tight until the deck came loose from the hex then snugged it back up and vaped away.
It sits flush on my hex ohm 2.1 no problem so I unscrewed it and tried it on 5 of my mods (RDNA40, Vaporflask 2.1,2 tugboat mod v1, tugboat mod v2 and back on the Hex. It sits flush on all of them and the barrel hasn't come loose on me at all so far. I will say that airflow control ring is a stupid design, there are no grooves, no indentation nothing its just a smooth ring that sticks like 1/16 of an inch out of the center of the top cap and its about 1/16 inch smaller diameter than the top cap so its difficult to get any kind of grip on it and the oring thats in there is so stiff it was virtually impossible to adjust it brand new out of the box. It's loosened up a bit now after vaping it all day but its still really difficult to adjust.
Wicking properly is a little tricky without a juice well to hold the cotton in place. Its much easier if you wet the cotton before trying to tuck it but that can get messy without a juice well. However with the threaded deck you really can fill this thing up to the coils with juice and just vape away without any leaking. Coils are a breeze to build without the juice well to get in the way as well, I imagine this would be about the easiest deck there is to do one wire (continuous) dual coils with if thats your thing.
So far i'm pretty happy with it, the vape is good, plenty of airflow, the flavor is almost too intense with the reduced chamber I don't get any spit back but my tongue feels like it's coated with juice after vaping it for awhile. LOL
Edit: mine is serial [HASHTAG]#1324[/HASHTAG] don't know how much later that would be from some of those that got theres earlier.
