So bought an aerotank from a local vape shop and have been receiving low ohm on my vamo when I put it in. I tried switching coils and even tried the coils that came with on my protank and work like a champ....well went to store we even tried a new base and same issue but this time when dude connected it with old base, pos worked...anybody else have this problem?

By the way vamo is 2 weeks old so doubt that could be a problem....

It sound's like there is an issue with the center plate on the vamo making a connection with the center post of the aerotank. Best way to be sure is test the base in question using a multi-meter. If it's showing resistance then the plate and post aren't working. If not then the base might have some sort of problem.

A error message won't go away on it's own. It does sound like there may be a loose connection between the center plate and center post. try wiggling both next time using a dental pick or small eye glass screw driver(paper clip even works). You don't really need to see them move more then 1mm but that could be what happens. This happens to me when im not paying attention and tighten things down too much causing the plate and/or the post to push inward a bit. Finger tight is pretty much all it needs to make a good connection

I just got an Aerotank the other day. My center pin was pushed up into the threading. I took it apart and noticed the insulator that holds the center pin was very soft which allowed the center pin to shift and move around. I simply took another insulator from an old burner head and swapped it. Also took a small piece of heat shrink and insulated the edge of the positive pin. Pin is tight no wobble or worries about a short. Managed to redo the head and drop the ohms to 1.3. Put in some cotton and it vapes quite well.
