I'm just trying to get over the edge and had my first smoke free day - days in a row!

Provari-Kayfun; MVP-nautilus; VTR-Aerotank Mega - together they helped do this

The Aerotank Mega has completely turned around now - for the worse:

- Virgin Vapor 100 VG - Have used many other VG's on this

- 8 watts

Whatever Iam doing I did last week and it was fine - I know how to clean and if I did that I could go back to vaping after a whole

It is not just gurgling; it is wheezing, squelching, bubbling up in there

I can CLEAN AND DRY - replace liquid and coil - and have 2 normal vapes - then all over again !!

Within a few mins I can blow through the mouthpiece untill loads of juice come out, then it will go normal and then start again!!

Everything is screwed on properly, I have twisted up tissue to clean the middle tubes just in case, but it starts like a motor with no vape produced and then blowing releases a lot from the airholes

*Only time yesterday it was semi-normal was when there was HARDLY any liquid left in there, I topped up with same liquid as Ive done many times before then it started - ALL OVER AGAIN!

I actually feel really bad, like I've missed an important train that was supposed to take me places, it is like your best friend has become crazy and everything you try to do for them, they end up showing the same symptoms

PLEASE HELP!!!

check your coil when you disassemble. If you are using the new style Kanger coil that came with the mega, make sure that the small hole in the sides are completely covered with wicking material. The wick should cover the hole as it acts as a gasket to prevent flooding. Raw juice getting to the coil is whats causing it to flood. The only juice getting to the coil should be via the wick. If you have not tried changing to a new coil try that.

If you are using the older style coil with the exposed wicks, make sure that the grommet is pushed down completely and that there are no gaps or holes around the wick. Again, only the wick should be exposed to the raw juice.

supafuzz gave the same response while I was typing mine.

It sounds like a wicking problem to me.There is too much juice going to the coil. There might be a gap above the wick.

It's a common problem with BCCs (Bottom Coil Clearomizers). Getting the wicking just right can be difficult.

Did you try a new coil? It may help for awhile at least.

ok I had this problem, with my Russian, it was puking fluid up into my mouth or out the air holes, so I asked the guy at the vape shop what to do.....when you fill it, cover the air hole, fill juice, put on top screw it in half way, flip, and finish screwing in top. The way the guy at the vapor shop explained it to me is that's its a vacuum and flipping it and wait a sec the air then transfers to the bottom.

good luck!

I got some advice from someone here to keep all my heads

The one in the pic below, with red lines to indicate the area, is the one that started this whole mess....If I look closely the gold coulour indicates where I can see an actual wire if peer in

I switched heads and that one is currently still in my system but same problem

sorry I can't take a better quality picture

The second one is another unused coil from the same pack where I can mostly see white, wick type stuff

Does this help??

here is a picture of a new coil showing the white wick in the hole.

Hello supafuzz - I think I might have been typing at the same time!

I just had a look at my current wick - now obviously it wont be white because of the juice but on one whole it seems a bit more 'spongy' the other seems a bit more empty. Could this be the problem then? and isn't wick supposed to burn out?

Why do I have some normal wick and some crap ones?? Should I take my current wick out - wait for it to be cleaned and dry then compare it to my first wick, if it is the same then perhaps try a 3rd coil - the unused one from my previous post??

Any other thoughts come to your mind please share

Thanks

Is it just the blur in the picture of the coil or is there no wick there?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In the pictures with a 'blur' (due to camera quality_ - where I have put red and gold colour, I can see wick but I can clearly see a metal wire

In the other one there is a bit more wick

I just sent a post prior to this but also what if something is 'doing this' to the wicks so no matter what I put in it turns them into 'zombie coils' with the sol intention of destroying my vaping experience wile making a lot of horrible noise!!

I am sorry coils can be a roll of the dice. I had similar issues on and off with Kanger coils when I started vaping. If you have another coil where the wick is more visible try replacing it with that one and then filling the tank 1/4 of the way. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to prime the coil and try it again. Hopefully that solves it.

The only other thing I can think of if you are using a new coil where the hole is covered by the wick and the small flat grommet is firmly pressed down to seal the top and you are still getting the problem is that maybe where you are using the 100% VG juice, it being very thick and if you are using in a low air flow setting on the mega then maybe the suction from the draw is forceful enough to cause the wick to pull back from the hole allowing raw juice to flood into the chamber. If this might be the case then you might try using the older style kanger coils that have the exposed wick. These might be able to seal better.

These coils from the evod2 or the protank 3 will work in the Aerotank mega

I have never rewicked the new style kangers, but I think its possible. but because of the redesign it is said to be really fiddly. I rewick the older style with sterile cotton all the time and actually prefer the taste with cotton wicks to the stock wicks. You might check the old reliable youtube to see if there is a video showing how to rewick the new kangers to see what you're getting into before tearing into one though.
