Was poking round looking for a deal on a 69 mech and stopped by Intaste, decided to check out "coming soon"
Spotted the aerovapes M made in titanium with platinum contacts and was instantly sucked in.

so I went poking for aerovapes and found their site:
Aero Vapes | Welcome to Aero Vapes world!

looking around i saw the prototype for a VW mod called the Z

K-VW-1-.jpg

Encased in the already known SS, SS-Ti or pure Titanium material variants, Z has the following important features:

  • more than 30 watts of output power
  • output (power/voltage) adjustable in 0,1 increments
  • graphic display (with automatic turning for left handed and right handed people)
  • motion sensor for changing the settings
  • touch sensor or motion activation
  • accurate power (voltage and current) settings
  • precise battery and atomizer tester
  • solid platinum electric contacts throughout the entire mod
  • single battery design
  • standard 510 connection
  • 16 seconds cut-off
  • short circuit protection
  • electronic reverse battery protection
  • thermal monitoring system
  • triple battery monitor with over-current and over-discharge protection
  • battery profile: continuous battery tester with low battery quality detection
  • vented system
  • engraved logo
completely made in Europe

Im in love as some of the things listed have been on my wishlist, if the chip tests out to be accurate and what they say it is im in, anyone else intrigued? (still want the mech though)

Ha, talk about overengineered. I would never want a touch or motion operated vape, ugh. Some good specifications on it though which should start becoming more common within the next year.

Wonder about 1) size 2) price.

many videos of the different mods and atomizers on the site to get an idea, their quad coil dripper looks insane- minimalistic yet super industrial, their geni looks the same way..
wood, bottom feeders, mechanicals vw and asst other stuff coming these guys sound serious and look set to rock - not just a one off company. it looks like there is some serious money invested in this outfit.
Interesting that they go all out like that but go with a 3 digit segmented LED. Eh?
from an industrial standpoint still one of the most durable, dependable and reliable displays available.

I never said this before ever, but the more im reading "IF" they can deliver what they are presenting and "IF they are the group they claim to be - this may actually be the first real threat to provapes crown, and will make several others look long and hard as well.

IMO that's still not an excuse. With this level of device a small oled screen should be mandatory. Protecting it isn't hard and the user interface implications are huge.

It would be entirely because of the company if so, competitive products have been around but it's hard to find a company behind them that is anywhere near as stable as provape. Being first had its privileges, and now it will take significant investment to match that part of the equation.

It makes sense that it would be a european group to do this, since they would have competitive advantages in their local market.

For some cognitive dissonance, think about how well US tobacco companies could compete in that regard.

I agree, it helps having an international talent pool to pull in team members from as well.

prove it's what you say it is, drop it on the market under 300, make it durable and add support/service for it and they will be on fire.

Sigh - all i wanted today was a nice mech to replace this clone, this is what i get when i start looking for stuff lol
