Great review, I must say I guess I'm pretty luck I got a somewhat working head (only tried 1 so far) was working 30%, I ended up rewicking and it increased by 10%. I would love to see the Phoenix design in a bigger size tank like unit (2-3ml's). Only luck I have ever had to date with a ce2 style carto was the original clearomizers with the new tubing. Any the Grande when it didn't leak. I'm willing to give the new heads a shot when they come in but if no luck I might give up altogether on ce2 style. Just hope a new filler carto comes around soon that doesn't distort flavor as much

The deal is that the tank itself and the heads had two different consultants. Bad had input into the tank design, but no input into the head design. Now the heads are redesigned, and Bad had input on the redesign. Draw your own conclusions.

I'm looking forward to getting the new heads, personally.

Though, in all fairness, most of the ones I got (I got 12 altogether) are pretty ok. A different flavor profile than on the Stardust, but only somewhat less in intensity. I'm on my third tank now (it's one of my 10 simultaneous rotation flavors), and up until half-way into the 3d tank, the wicking has been fine. I need to clean it now, tho...

My mixed feelings are the following:
The design, is very good, but i already stated this. This WILL be the next big thing, at least for me, that's for sure.
Still, doesn't change the fact, that currently i have a $16 paperweight i can't take to work tomorrow, couse in it's current state it's simply not vapeable (for me).
Basically, Christopher said the same about this i think.
I'm eagerly waiting for the new heads, THEN i may (probably will) say, that YES, THIS IS IT, i can say goodbye to my vision giants (gurgling killing me...).
A bit off: The phoenixes are good, but i must be special, that i can only taste warmish vapor, cold is tasteless for me :(

I can taste it, but I prefer warmish vapor myself. I had to crank it up to 4.2 V to get it to the warmth I want, and it started giving dry hits at that point. Even on the mostly pg juice. I guess not all things are for everyone. I like the bottom-coil engineering. If the juice supply method was improved a bit so there is no dry hits at higher voltages, I can very well see using these. The flavor is very good.

I guess we'll see what's coming down the road. Chris mentioned something about adjustable juice supply holes - that would be veeeeeery interesting in this context.

But meanwhile these are, unfortunately, too cool for me with most juices. So I feel your pain. :(

I guess we'll just have to wait. Considering the lightning speed with which things are developing, it won't be long. :D
