Well I am curious to find out how things went, lelly. Do tell.

Sorry to disappoint but it was very anticlimactic. I thought about it alot on the plane ride over and I still hadn't made up my mind what I was going to do, just play it by ear. I didn't know what our itinerary was when I got there, but when I found out that we only had time for a quick supper at my parents before we had to leave for the mountains, I knew it was pointless to bring it up, there wasn't enough time to work it into the conversation, lol. When we got there, my dad wasn't even there, he had left for a business trip the night before, which was a bit disappointing. My sister brought her boyfriend of 6 months to the supper to meet my parents for the first time so that was the main focus of the conversation between us and my step-mom.

Our trip was awesome, it was great to reconnect with my brother and sister. My brother is a non-smoker and he was very accepting of my PV (besides making jokes saying I looked like the caterpillar from alice in wonderland) and my sister was a bit curious about it. Both her and her boyfriend are smokers but weren't the slightest bit open to being converted. My eGo held up well on the trip, I didn't have any bad falls so it was safe in my jacket pocket and I pulled it out for the chair lift rides. It had been about 6 years since I have been on my board so I took it easy. I started snowboarding when I was 13, and when I was 16, I got a job at the local hill teaching snowboarding for 6 seasons, and took many trips to Whistler, Jasper, Banff, Big White, Revelstoke, etc. I was surprised how easily I picked it up again, and I will definitely love to get back into doing it regularily. Some pics from our trip....
