OK, since this is actually the AFS edbacks thread - I thought I would provide an update.
Another AFS tester sent me their atty to double check as they couldn't get it to work effectively and they thought that the hole might not have been lasered all the way through.
After cleaning it a couple of times and finally vaping through what to me is THE most funky tasting juice on the planet (with the exception of french pipe), I found that the hole DID make it all the way through and the atty does work as expected with the AFS. I think either the cart the person was using was providing some sort of extra airflow so the juice was not auto-feeding properly - or the juice being used was too thick.
So, unless Imeo is making the hole on the new AFS atties ever so slightly larger, you really need to make sure you use quite thin juice.
Now, I only had my own one working for half a day before I blew it, so, apart from when I was vaping through that funky juice, this has been the longest vaping session from heaven ever. I can't even express how fab it's been and if I go OTT, people will think I am exaggerating anyway.
Caveats
There IS a learning curve with this thing.
You DO have to use the right viscosity juice.
You DO have to learn which way up to hold your PV and when.
Having said all that - this stuff is NOTHING compared to the permanent fiddling around we do with dripping and refilling carts all damn day long.
I've had this working nicely for nearly two days and today I knew I had tested it enough and had to think about returning it to its rightful owner. OH NO!!!
But the good news is - they said I can keep it.

You know who you are, my friend - I owe you!
Oh and a warning to everyone out there - once you get the hang of this thing - DON'T use your normal full strength juice in it. I usually vape 18MG very heavily and I cut it down to 9mg to use in the AFS and I still think it's too high - cos you just don't have to stop vaping to drip any more......
