Just tried it with a spare cap i modified for cartomisers, notched sides and centre post, it does work but a slightly stiffer draw

Ok my atty died today, so that's 12 days at 6v constantly, that's twice as long as any of my 901's have lasted at 6v, proves the AFS does keep the atty cooler thus prolonging the life of the atty

Were you still using it with the air hole covered by the AFS? Just wondering if that might have caused your death.

nope just tried it very briefly, couple of inhales out of curiosity, i had noticed the atty fading so i was expecting it vapn

Mine was flooded so I tried to burn off the excess juice and that was the last time it fired for me. wa wa wa .... We should have more available very soon.

Today is the 16th day of using AFS with the modified 901 atty, exclusively at 3.7V ...My atty still rocks ! ...I have no liquid leakage out of the AFS and I have done 3 times an atty cleaning with vinegar and water..By now I have smoke about 45 ml of e-liquid (3 ml per day)

Sorry for your loss - you did well to last this long on it though.
As far as I can tell, the changes to the AFS that Imeo's been making do not impact the atties so his special holed atties (when he has them) should continue to work the same for current AFS testers.

Thank you for your sympathy(although, I guess I should express sympathy for you since you were without your AFS atty for much longer) and for the info Lisa.
Do you have any idea when Imeo will have the dual hole AFS atty's available?

No worries, someone had to get the duff atty in the bunch, right? It's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

I may have imagined it, but I thought I saw him say in another thread that he was about to pick up the lasered atties shortly............
