i'll try to remove the o-rings and see how it goes. It looks like it's leaking only with the attys, but not with a carto. I tried with a I6 at 6V, and is much better than on I3 - on I6 i do get a nice TH.

also can someone tell be what's the difference between :
GG i6 AFSv1 iAtty - 901 - Cloud 9 Vaping
and
Vapor Kings - JOYE 510, JOYE EGO, DSE801, RN4072, DSE901, RN4075, RN4062 and KR808D-1 e-Cigarette batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid, accessories and more!

they are both I6 but VaporKings say they are for AFSv2 and Cloud9 say they are not ...
confusing ...

The link to the one on my site that you've specified there is a Version 1 AFS iAtty that only works in the v1 AFS, not the V2. I don't have any 901 iAtties of any kind in stock at the moment anyway.

Mike, I will tell you some steps to follow

1) Disassemble and clean all the parts of AFS

2) Put again the o-rings you took out

3) Put an atomizer on the brass connector

4) put the o-ring through the atomizer by having a plastic mouthpiece attached on the atomizer

5) Screw very well the brass connector

6) Close CR and fill the tank with liquid

7) Close the cap

8) Take out the mouthpiece and turn upside down the GG so liquid inside atty will come out

9) You can also cut a rounded 14mm scotch brite sponge and make a hole inside at 8mm. Then put it around the 4 holes of the brass connector. It will keep inside it the liquid that goes out of the atty

Do them and we speak again Mike:)

I did everything from 1-8 , cleaned everything, installed new atty.Everything is really good tighten up.
Still leaking - - happens once in a while, while vapping I suddenly get liquid everywhere, on the AFs, on the GG, on my hands ...really annoying - I have no idea where is coming from ...

I will not do what you suggested in no 9 - this means modifying the unit and is something I will not do. I didn't payed $110 for something that needs to be improvized in order to work.
I do believe this is either a manufacturing fault or a design fault

Don't get me wrong, I have a GG and a GGTS and love them, but doing improvisations on the AFS in order to stop leaking is like buying a new Mercedes and find out is leaking and the manufacturer tells you to get under the hood and put some silicone where it leaks from ...

so, what's next ....?

Mick,
I also have a recently aquired an AFS2, I have been using it for 2 weeks at 3.7V on 901 atty and 6V on a cartomizer. I have not had any leakage issues so I doubt it is an overall design fault. It sounds like it most likely could be a manufacturing fault. Have you checked to see if there are any burs left over from the manufacturing process? Burs could make it leak. Do not worry though Imeo will definately take care of you if it is a manufacturing fault.

Make sure it is set up as per these instructions http://www.ggcigs.com/AFSV2/setup.html

Mick, this is a mod, a good one but is not perfect hence the new one due shortly. I had leaking issues on the first day but fixed it on the first day. Blue foam, cut a hole in centre, stretch it on as pictured below, life now good.

Now that doesn't look so hard does it?

Now here is what I have found with the 901 atty and the V2. IF they come from the factory with a very light airy draw they are going to flood on you easily and in turn leak out the CR. Tighter drawing atties from the factory work PERFECTLY every time.

Once again you hit the nail Vapn!

I reached that conclusion recently but couldn't be sure. Tried to figure out why, before talking about it, just to make sure that I'm not imagining things.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

no, it's not hard, but it will change the air flow - I don't want that !
and I said , it's an improvisation, I will not do that on an AFS that cost $110, I will do it maybe on something that was $15. When you pay that much money you expect or get something that works, even if it's a mod

I want to be able to use this, and put it in a pocket or a bag WITHOUT the fear it will leak all over, if I can't to that ..what's the point of having one, I can go back to cartos and Nebula ....

Mick, mine came stock with that blue foam around the base (I did not know it was an improvisation), anyway, with it (blue foam) I'm not having any leaks.
Hope you can get the leak sorted out.

Update:- The only other thing I can think of is the following......
The brass battery connector on the AFS (the one in hopefulll's photo) if you turn it upside down you will see that the centre pin has a flat head screwdriver slot. I loosen mine off then tighten down the atty (this allows the atty to screw all the way down) then I tighten up the centre pin until I just feel it make contact with the atty.

Mick, this is a mod that takes 2 minutes to try and doesn't change the airflow in a way that I notice. It does make putting it back together a little harder but at least it does not leak.

If you tighten the bottom ring and it is leaking in that area when placed in pocket then you have a different issue. But in any case try and store with AFS up.

What voltage you like to vape at? I'm going to 17340's x2 which gives 6.4 (actual about 6.7). HV atty fine then, good flavour and vape. Also finding 16340's die too quick and are inconsistent. No issues with 17340's.

Also Tokes has a GGTS and AFS and attends the meet up every Friday in Melbourne, perhaps tag along and ask questions?

i'm using I6 on 6V and I7 on 7.4V - these 2 setups and cartos are the only setups that give me the TH I need, I don't care much for vapors .... but I'm sick of cartos, only junk on the market now, I have burned more than 70 cartos in 2 weeks at 3.7V....that's why I wanted atties ..but if the atties also burn, I'm done, I'm going back smoking ..

Hmm, sounds like you are not in tune with what's happening with your vape. I've sort of lost my taste buds for some reason ATM hence lost 2x VHV in one night cause couldn't sense the subtle change in flavour from fine to a bit dry. They blow that quick :(

70 Cartos in 2 weeks is crazy, maybe start timing yourself as to how long they last... Don't toke as hard etc. I don't think I have ever burnt a Carto.
