no, just take of the white cap from the cartomizer and stick a regular mouthpiece from a 901/501 or a metal tip in it.

On, I see. Its ok. Of course you can see the threads on the small cap that I left for the threaded mouthpiece so its not very good looking and you cant smoke any 901 atomizer without having liquid in mouth, but if it works for cartos then you are ok

Hve you tried the 15/2,5 o-ring that I suggest wet my friend? It will totally lock the CR so you will not have leakage when you leave AFS at no use

I haven't had the chance. My wife has Terminal Cancer and she had a bad couple days. So, I haven't had much time to try your suggestion.

It only leaks when I don't use the GGTS for several hours; and since I haven't been sleeping, it's not often that it get to set long enough to leak.:vapor:

I hope to give it a try this weekend.

Yes cartomizers fit exactly the same as a 901 does. They are the same dimensions. They have a tube through the center so air passes without picking up juice. They are the perfect solution to this AFS... I have been using the same one for four days now and still kicking out tasty vapor with a ton of throat hit to boot.... I like em a whole lot.... I got some without the stickers on em and they fit the beta tank perfectly and work great in that with NO LEAKING and NO JUICE flooding issues at ALL... none.. The only time you need to keep an eye on the juice is when you put the cap back on after filling... I take a paper towel and soak up any excess in the atty and it just starts kicking out the vapor. I use them at 3.7, 5v, and 6v without issues. I really feel this is the best way to go.

Vapn,
One more question. Are you filling the cartomizers before you vape them, or are you loading them dry and letting the AFS prime them?

no need to fill the cartomizer first. Actually I noticed that when swapping flavor, after one hit already you get the new taste, so the cartomizer is picking up the juice immediately

Got it working. I'm using a drip tip, so I just put a couple drops in and away it goes...

Making the hole was a comedy though. I should have made a video.
So here's the text version.

How to mod a cartomizer, Attystomper style in 10 easy steps

Materials:
1x Empty cartomizer, label removed and cleaned.
2x framing nails (because you will lose one, but don't worry you will find it later when you least expect it)
1x Monkey wrench
Dremel tool with grinding bit

Step one.
Realize you do not have a bit small enough to make a hole.

Step two.
Consider going to Wal-Mart to get a bit, and instead grab a framing nail.

Step three.
Realize you can't find your hammer.

Step four.
Find a monkey wrench.

Step five.
Realize the futility of trying to drive a nail through a cylindrical metal object...with a monkey wrench.

Step six
Apply ice to hand, eat Ibuprofen

Step seven
Grind a spot on the cartomizer to flatten it out.

Step eight
Realize you just got lucky and actually got the nail to penetrate and make a hole

Step nine
Realize you hit the nail completely into and damned near through the cartomizer.

Step ten
Vape, and embrace your manly awesomeness.

Good luck,

The really funny thing is, its true... and somehow it's working!

And its working really really well. I've never seen such vapor!

GREAT!!! I tweaked last night some more carto's and the best right now is:

One 1.2 mm drill hole. first to make it easy you use the smallest etching tool to make a tiny hole, that way you will not slip...then you make the 1.2 mm hole with the drill and after that use the bigger etching tool to make the hole a little wider \ /....perfect!!!!!!

Glad to be of any help Imeo, but bear in mind that I use turbo cartomizers which are a little taller and have a higher Ohm rating then the regular one's.

then we need bigger hole for the regular ones. Ok, I will check it myself when time comes. Thanks again:)
