Okay, after 5 days of vaping (18mg strength), I decided to light up a Marlboro Light just to see what it would be like. All I can say is ... YOWZA!!! I took a few drags and that was all I could take before getting so light headed and dizzy that I had to put it out! That's it, I put my last two packs that I had been saving for emergency and threw them in the garbage.

Now I'm just sitting here marveling at how I could smoke 20 of these things down to the .... every single day, week after week, month after month, year after year. What a tragedy.

Awesome! I quit smoking the day I received my Joye 510 kit, after 55+ years of heavy smoking, and have not had an analog since. Like you, I kept a spare pack of analogs handy - just in case, but eventually threw them out. No cravings now, and after 7 months of being smoke free, I feel great. Thanks for the post.

That seems to be the norm. I never even bothered to try another analog after I started vaping but many people advise it just so you can see how big of a difference it is. Most people can't believe how bad it tastes after just a couple days of vaping, funny how quickly we all can hate something we've done for years and years isn't it?

I suspect that most of that effect (other than the obvious fact that analogs taste horrible) is your body no longer being used to the carbon monoxide inhalation inherent to smoking.

You might be onto something there jfoobar. I did flood my lungs with whatever analogs have to offer (nicotine, carbon monoxide, etc.) by taking the drags in fairly rapid succession as it was cold outside and I wanted to get back indoors. I can't imaging nicotine was the only culprit as I had been doing 18mg juice. Whatever caused it, I will have no more of it thanks to my Vapor King and you all's great support.

LOL, I was in the grocery today, and could smell which shoppers were smokers. Gawd, I thought people were exaggerating.

Isn't that just amazing? My husband still smokes, so my old brand is still in the house, but I can't imagine ever opening that box and lighting one up. If someone had told me in July that I'd be a non-smoker before I turned 50, I would have laughed at them. But next week, I will be a 50 year old EX-smoker. Not bad after 36 years of failed attempts to quit.

Actually, for me it's just the opposite. I smoked ulta lights. I eventually bought the lowest strengh nicotine ( 6 mgs), which had the same brand name on the bottle. I smoked the analog and found that the cig was really very bland. The 6 mgs have more flavor and more satisfying. It's for this reason that I'm gonna buy from the company I origanally got the kit from because I really don't know if there's somewhere else that will have the same flavor. The brand I smoked was Parliment, also known as Congress by some juice makers. ( no fruit flavor or menthol) just straight plain old tobacco--I smoked them for about 30 yrs and before that I smoked Marlboro lights for about 10 yrs. Strange how the same change over can affect people in different ways.

I had a bad night last night, and decided that I wanted a "drag" off of my daughter's analog. YUK!! It was like smoking cardboard. That's the last time I'll try THAT little trick. I'm spoiled to the wonderful flavors I can put in my Ego, so going back to an analog is out of the question. Like many of you, I have no idea how I smoked for so many years!
