I "get" better aesthetics, shorter 18350 configurations, scratch resistant, etc. But why would anyone want something heavier? It seems to me, the perfect weight is zero.

well considering rba's and the newer larger tanks are quite heavy i want something that balances. if i put like a genesis tank on the evic with the old tubes it'd be really top heavy. where as with the siam mod tubes its more balanced.

totally agree on this point. my heavier mods feel much better with my terminator on top than the lighter ones. of course, a heavy brass mod with a solid atty on top is enough mass to drag down a pair of pants, so this is mostly for around the house. know what i'm saying? :) i'm tempted to get the tatroe base for my evic and probably will at some point. but right now i'm mostly using my mech mods. and i'll probably pick up one of those massive hammer-shaped e-pipe mods before i get that tatroe base.

When I switched to the Kir Fanis teletube, being that it is heavier, it doesnt tip without being knocked over, that base would make completely non pocketable. I would buy something like that if it was just a 23mm hole in a base to set the evic in instead of a battery cap

I bought a CVI tube for my Evic after looking everywhere for the shorter tube in a color. I got it today. A few days ago they had most colors and as of today they only have red and pink. The CVI tube fits perfect.

I got an orange I plan to change the color on myself. It is also a CVI tube. probably won't see much face time when I get the 18500 batteries for my siam mods tube.
