AGA-T+ issue. Need some suggestions.

So the first coil that I built for my AGA-T worked flawlessly. I finally decided to build another one and did exactly what I did last time. 4 coils of 28 gauge kanthal wire around 400 SS oxidized wick. Came out to .8 ohms. The issue is that I cannot seem to get the juice to wick fast enough. I use 50/50 pg/vg and always around the top of the wick the coils are glowing. I dripped a couple drops on top before I started vaping. I even tilted the device upside down to promote wicking and it only works for like a second and then the top coils burn off the juice and glow red again.

Any suggestions? Different SS mesh wick?

PS. The juice I was using last time was a 65/35 pg/vg if that makes a difference.

You may need to enlarge the air hole in the cap. Make sure the hole is lined up with the wick vertically. This will help promote juice wicking.

Are you leaving the screw in the juice fill hole? You'll get better wicking with it out.

And for whatever reason, that wick may be inadequate.
