I find a lot of times the new people to RBAs tend to have some simple problems.
If they dont specifically say that the coil is glowing unenvenly then I'm guessing they are good.
The very fact that they have recoiled a genesis makes me believe they have at least read about doing it.
The OP's problem could be as simple as a wick that isn't wicking properly. Its not always technical.
OP- Have you tried keeping your device TIPPED when taking a hit? That gets the juice flowing to the wick.
This especially works if your wick ends up being too tight in the wick hole, and with no center tunnel.
Now I think I also read that the ohms aren't consistent. This could mean you have a small short that comes n goes.
Make sure the wick isn't touching the top cap, make sure it has no frays, make sure the wire tails arent hitting nothin.
If all else fails, try to slide the wick right out of the coils if possible. (lube it up with juice first)
Then retorch it with your torch or lighter or whatever you used. Then attempt to either make it tight enough for juice to flow up its sides or loose enough for juice to penetrate it and siphon. Make sure your voltage is set to double that of what the ohms read out to be. Your ohm checker probably isn't broken.
Good luck!
