It's to prevent a vacuum inside the tank that could prevent juice from making it up the wick.

Having the fill screw in actually creates a vaccuum that causes the liquid to go out the only path, through the wick. I am also using a completely solid wick. More capillary action.

Read eHumans blog on the AGA atomizers.

Hey guys, I just rebuilt my AGA-T+ today with a new wick and a new coil with the 30awg Kanthal that I just recieved today. Everything seems fine with a 3/4 wrap at 1.5 ohms, other than the bottom coil doesn't really light up the other ones start to light up with the second one from the bottom first. is this okay??

Nicely done. Yes, I believe that's to be expected. Middle coil would glow the brightest, whereas, the bottom coil the least. You can try wrapping the bottom coil further/higher above the deck to get it to burn hotter.

Thank you ericska for the tip but please advice me on where i can find the rubber O-ring that you mentioned above. (local hardware shop you think got sell ka?) ;)

Look online. I have seen some vaping stores online ( at least U.S. ones ) that sell just the spare parts bag that comes with the AGA-T+/2 that has the silicone insulator among other parts.

Having vaped this atty for nearly 6months, I've found that taking out the fill srew really improves flavor and adds life to the wick, keeps the juice from burning

Maybe I'll have to re try it. But since I have been using solid wicks I haven't felt the need to keep the screw out. And I can leave my mod on its side for awhile with no leaks. Lol

Then ask cr0nz3r0 in post #254, maybe he know it... Or ask loodeytunes in this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/malaysia-forum/412396-looking-custom-aga-t2-top-cap.html#post9417346

I heard it was RM80 per cap... that's the cost of an AGA-T+. :D

I tried reduce camber size of my AGA-T+ in post #311 and... disappointed... or maybe it's just me.

Captivape sells some. I actually ordered one last week and am expecting it any day (hopefully today!!!!). I have talked to a couple people who got them and they say the flavor and vapor are increased noticeably.

So Kiva, have you got your topcap? Don't mind to tell us pro & con about it?

I did get the top cap. I ordered the polished version and it matches the body of my AGA-T2 perfectly. I really like the way it performs. It definitely increased the flavor and vapor production. I would say after I used it for a couple hours I found the draw to be perfect. Since I got it I haven't even thought of putting my original cap back on. (So you know my original top cap was drilled out to 1/16", which I find to be to airy now).
The one and only disappointment I had with the top cap is that there were burrs on the inside of the cap. Because of the reduced chamber and how it is shaped they were hard to get rid of and there are still some. I guess I could take my dremel to the inside of it but I'm afraid I will mess it up. Lol

Going to be getting an AGA. Problem is, I don't know which one. (AGA, AGA+, AGA-T and AGA-T2). Can someone give some perspectives about which one might be the better choice.

Also, please post some links to the best place to get one. I understand there's a lot of 'knock offs', and some AGA-T2's come with tanks that are rugged, and not smoothly built.

I got a T2 w/ the pyrex tank and silicone gaskets. Vapes great!

Got it there... good price, IMHO.
