AGA T2 manufacturer defect or blessing?

So, I searched the forum for AGA T2 stuff and found quite a bit even glazed over the pics of other genny types to see if I'm wrong or something to no avail; specifically for this issue. Maybe I missed it and if so sorry I'll just delete the thread but until then:

I ordered this AGA T2 (squared). Saw it on one of VaporJoes daily posts from Venerable vaping. No problems with the shipping/order etc. However after closer inspection and staring at a bunch of google search images of the T2 I need more input...

I seem to have an extra hole drilled and a 3rd screw placement under the side post?

I believe the most recent ones have the extra hole and screw.

Mine has the same. I think it's an air hole to help wicking, but I'm not 100% sure to be quite honest. Hell it could be for a double u-wick for all I know.

Now if I could just make this thing not suck for me...

Oh, I haven't been able to find any pictures of one with 3 screws or mention of the third(fifth) hole so I wasn't sure. Figured this would be the best place to ask as google isn't turning me up with solid evidence

Looks like Youde decided to make U wicks possible without yanking the silica post.

Me and my cousin brought one at the same time but from different places. Mine is the same as yours and his only has two holes.
I must admit I find the third hole useful and leave the screw out of it, seems to help with juice flow.

Mine is like yours also but I cant get mine to pull apart from the glass, and I got mine from venerable as well
