I too would have to agree with Amajn about the REO. I would liken it to a Cadillac. Big and beautiful with an excellent ride although a little slushy around the turns because of its size. That coupled with the incredible customer service offered by Redyedance make this a mod truly deserving of high praise.

I do have one of the other mods but because I have nothing good to say about it I wont mention it by name.I do have a Kaji on the way and hope that it will be the Corvette of the class

By the way I was the guy at the Florida meet.

Having spent a lot of time on a farm in Ohio whil I was growing up, I understand (kind of) the reference to a farm truck for the REO. But ,like Amajn alluded to, it really can conger up some negative images and thoughts in people minds about.

I think the allusion to a Cadillac STS or Lincoln LS is more appropriate, a sport sedan that is so good, it just blends but kicks a**

That being said, will it flood? Yes it will, the feed system is almost too good. Is it easy to un-flood? Yes it is. You can also adjust the amount of juice pumped to avoid any problems

Nice review, overall, but, I am VERY pleased with my decision and purchase.

Yes you were! And you were blowing clouds with that thing. I must admit, I had second thoughts while watching you use it. It'll be interesting hearing your opinions once you try the Kaji. The truth is that one is probably no better than the other. It's all just personal preference.

I think you are absolutely correct. It really is a matter of opinion and personal preference. I love my REO but had to order the Kaji (can't have to many toys) to compare.

All I will say is that I just spent 8 days and drove 2270 miles on a long trip through Texas and chain vaped the GGTS/AFSv2 all the way and had to fill up my gas tank in the car more often than I had to worry about vaping. I got almost 10hrs per tank of juice and ran like a big rig the whole trip! I've found my ultimate mod...nothing else even comes close!

My humble little review seems to have drawn out some staunch advocates for the mods out of the woodwork and responses and PM's from some suppliers (not to mention car enthusiasts).

The funny part is that I expected the biggest uproar to come over my thoughts of the CJB. I do like the mod, but I have to admit that it was just a bit snarky. I'm surprised that no one came out to defend the mod. Carlos isn't a registered supplier* so he can't publicly respond on the forum, but I expected at least one CJB fan to take me to task or report how they found their mods. I just wonder if all the buzz about what was the hottest mod six to eight months ago has completely sizzled out. I might as well be reviewing a 1924 Ford Model T.

*If you wish to sell mods, it just doesn't make any sense to NOT be a registered supplier on this forum. It's almost inexcusable. I think it's also as necessary to for a supplier to have their own subforum here. Besides being invaluable as a place to provide advice and support for your customers, it also allows them to build a sense of community with each other. Maybe the cost is prohibitive, but the time savings in posting a tip or trick about a common issue once for everyone to read in lieu of responding to multiple emails or PM's would seem to mandate that.

Listening to you guys is like getting free lessons from the "Grandmasters of Vaping".

I propose this new title .... awarded for vaping knowledge, experience and battle scars received in the many smokey vaporous trenches (forum threads). And also, for being "the best" ambassadors for the vaping cause and community; and finally, your ultimate and continuing mastery over the ever evolving art of vaping.

Therefore, I, the Mahajrodney, henceforth entitle and authorize you all to place the initials IVGM in front of, or after your names. IVGM = International Vaping Grandmaster.

(or alternately, VGM for "Grandmaster of Vape")

Great thread .... VGM Clyde!!!

No, no, no. Thank you very much for the compliment, but I am most unworthy of it. I stand on the shoulders of giants.

Actually, I hang with folks who are a lot smarter than I am.

Thanks, but no.

Hi everybody I need your help. I see that u own a lot of different mods and I would like you to help me choose one. I like the Reo, kaji, stomp box, the buzz, the little sister, the saber etc.... I already own the tornado and use it with LR attys and it works good I also own the Silver bullet and use it at 6V. what would be the difference between the box mods and the ecigs that I already own besides the self feeding system? Would the juice taste and vapor production will be the same as the tornado and SB or it will change? the tornado and SB have not kept me off real cigarettes and I really wanna quit. Maybe one of the mods that u have can make the eliquid taste better or something. Well, let me know and thank u for your help. I would like a mod that makes taste the eliquid great and also that has a nice throat hit and of course vapor production.

Very informative thread. Thanks for the info. I'm leaning towards the GG AFSv2. Would that work well with Altsmoke's Silver Bullet mod?

I don't know, to be honest. You may want to search for that on the GG forum, and possibly post a thread asking that there or PM Imeo or SSRob with that question.

And I think they just ran out of the AM on the Vapor Kings website, sorry.

Not owning a SB or a tornado, I can't tell you specifically how a 3rd gen will compare with those devices, sorry. Generally, a good 3rd gen will taste like you freshly dripped the atty almost every time you puff, IMO. In that respect, a 3rd gen can often taste better than using carts or cartos on another mod.

I can advise you to NOT force the quitting process. Just vape whenever you feel like it, and you'll find your analog use decreasing naturally. I'll maybe have an analog a week or less, but don't even want to finish it when I do have one. You may also want to try a different ejuice if what you've got isn't cutting it for you. My favorite analogey juice at the moment is the cubar cigar juice from avejuice mixed in with some usamix pg from the PRC.

The GG folks are getting ready to launch their revised GGTS with its own AFS sometime in the next week. For the first 15 days after it hits the US, they'll be selling the complete kit (GGTS plus AFS) for $226, roughly a $75 to $100 discount. That may be the way to go.

Yeah, it's a ton of money, I know. But I love the hassle free vaping of the AFS, especially with a carto at 6v. And the GGTS has great mechanical reliability plus unparalled versatility for attys and battys. My line of thinking is that you'll be able to experiment with different setups of attys, cartos and battys (i.e., voltage) with and without the AFS/AVS until you find the right setup for you without buying a bunch of different mods. And if you don't like it, you're more than likely to get your money back by putting it on the classifieds section once the discount expires or the units sell out.

Yes, I said sell out. You know a guy's doing something right when he sells out of $200 mods on a regular basis.

I'm probably going to take some flak for recommending such an expensive mod, but it is my honest opinion. You may also be able to find some threads for these other mods and ask people there what they think. In any case, good luck!

I've been vaping for eleven months and prior to my getting the REO I used the Tornado/Ego for about five months. I can tell you without doubt that the REO provides better taste, supeior TH and much more vapor. All this without out the mess and inconvenience of filling and replacing carts throughout the day. I have used it with both the LR 510 and LR 901 with great results. I've primarily used 510's and have always been a fan. However, last week I tried the Bauway LR901's and have been amazed at their performance and have used them exclusively over the last six days.
