AGA T2 Question

Ok, been using this for a couple of weeks and love it BUT.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is it the nature of this beast.
No matter what I do I can't get it to wick the juice properly unless I take the
screw out of the fill hole and leave it out.

Coil is @ .8 ohms, no hot spots. I have not modded this at all.
Stock wick hole and air hole.

What blend of juice are you using pg/vg

70/30 mostly sometimes 60/40

Everybody I know takes out the fill screw and leaves it out, including me.

I prefer to leave it in, have 1.4 coil now. But when I did have .08 the vapor was better with the screw out, go fig. I get no leaks laying it down with the screw in. so that is a plus

I leave the fill screw out on all my RBA's. All the way from 0.9 - 2.0 ohms. Depends on the device they go on as to what ohms I use. Leaving the screw in can sometimes create a vacuum so the juice doesn't wick properly.

Mostly out for me to! But it really depends upon your RBA and the wick/ coil setup you have produced. Straw wick usually means 'screws out' for me and solid wicks usually 'screws in'. The juice is another variable:- thinner PG based juice would tend to look for leakage, whereas VG based juice stays put!

It should drop in, you shouldn't need to help it at all.
With the wick loose in the hole I can leave the fill screw in and not have issues.
Lay it down. Keep it in my pocket. No leaks.

I just did this, and now I am appreciating the AGA-T+ more now. it was on the bench for a while, but now I'm kinda digging it.

This may be the problem! My wick is pretty snug, going to roll another(probably tonight) and try a thinner one
and see what that does. Thanks for the input people!

Not only do I leave my fill screw out I also use silica wick and like it much better with the silica wicks good no shorts!

Leaving the fill screw out is pretty common. In fact, some of the high end RBAs, like the Zens, Bliss, AC9, don't even have a threaded fill hole. Sometimes, users make plugs for them by rolling up a short piece of mesh.

I have my fill plug left out and for higher VG juices, I use 300/350 mesh for the higher VG juices (60/40, 70/30, 90/10, 100/0) and use the 400/500 mesh for higher PG juices

Just be careful leaving the plug out. Tried a different mod holder yesterday and it tipped over sideways and dumped half a tank of my HHV all over my shirt.

that sux! I did try rolling a small piece of mesh for the fill hole but that didn't work out.
Rolled a new wick and coil, works great with the screw removed so that's how it will stay!

Got the second AGA T2 coiled last night. Solid wick and wraped at 1.9 ohms. It's going in one of the provari's I think.
Have to admit haven't decided what juice to fill it with. Maybe Dark Horse from HHV. After rolling the solid wick my hands are hurting this morning.
This is my first solid wick so no opinions between solid or straw wicks. Maybe later I'll fill it up.

The 500# will wick better than all the rest even with 100% VG.

Good to know, soon as I use up my 400 I'll give the 500 a shot.
