Aga t2

Anyone tried the aga t2 on the chi you clone? Anyone recommend it? How does it perform? Or is there any fake ones out there?

As far as rebuilding it what's recommended the mesh or wick?

I love the look of it and also like how it looks like a clearomizer because I like to see where my liquid is at unlike the regular atomizer you just have to keep refilling it and after while it gets annoying especially when your out.

Thanks!

Personally I use pre-rolled SS mesh for my wicks: Pre-rolled and oxidized stainless 400 mesh wick

I use 30g kanthal wire: 30ga Grade A-1 Kanthal resistance wire - 1 foot

AGA-T2 rba: AGA-T2 rebuildable atomizer system - Pyrex tank

Im using a t2 with 7x7 strand steel rope wick with ekowool and its the best setup ive came across so far but its all a matter of opinion, im running about 0.5 ohm with 4 wrap of 26 awg / .40mm, i drilled the air hole to 3mm and im usuing it on a mech mod with sony 30a 18650

Its the only rba i own and alot of people say they are hard to setup and stop hot legs and i would agree but as long as you heavily oxidize the wick to stop shorts on the wick hole and/or (i do both) use ekowool which insulates the wire from the wick and also holds more juice.

also adding small washers to the positive posts reduces the length of the leg from the wick and reduces a hotspot.20131027_175410_resized.jpg20131118_051648_resized.jpg

What would be the best batteries for that kind of set up?

There's a large list of IMR and hybrid batteries in the link "Battery Basics for Mods" above. Any of those will work fine. However, if you ever plan to do sub-ohm builds with a Rebuildable, you'll want to pick batteries which have an Amp rating over 10 amps.

I using the red AW 18650 IMR 2000 mAh batteries.

The genuine AGA-T2 is very high quality and not expensive. The SS is a good grade. The silicone washers work great. The tank is thick. The threads are good. Doesn't leak after a few tear downs.

I also have 5 RBAs from FT and I feel they are all cheap junk. Not saying all FT hardware is junk; just the ones I picked.

If you like the look, I'd strongly recommend the AGA-T2.

Yes, they just started making a fake one.

I use my AGA-T2 on a K100 and a KTS. I love it and it's my main vaping workhorse. I'm not aware of any clone issues.

I use 500 SS mesh. I have heard of mixed results with silica wick, but IMO (but I have not tried this myself) it's worth a shot. The advantage is you would not get and have to deal with shorts. That can be huge.

If you decide to try it with SS mesh, the link Baditude gave in his post to eHuman's blog on the AGA-T is great. IMO, the biggest problem people have with Genisis RBAs is not dealing well with shorts when setting them up. You can also count on getting another short in the next day or so after the initial setup.

The way I set mine up, I can't lay it on its side because it leaks in that orientation. I believe it can be setup so it doesn't leak, but I've never done it. I suspect that would complicate things. If this is important to you, I suggest you research it before you buy it.

I'm using the AGA-T2 stock and it works great for me. Medium draw. Warm vape at 1 ohm. I drilled out my cheap RTA for cloud chasing.

The best size air hole is dependent on the coils you make. Above one ohm and I doubt making the stock hole bigger is an advantage. The further under that you go, the more important it becomes to drill it bigger.

You guys are awesome! Now I'm undecided on my choice I just don't want any leakage because I tend to just put it in my purse ekkk lol! I'm so new to this so it's a bit difficult it just sucks because none of my peers don't vape and if they do there still smoking on ego batteries so I have no hands help on this kind of stuff .. The stock draw on mine was the tightest draw I've experienced yet. throathit was intolerable. Maybe they drilled them a bit bigger in more recent runs?

IIRC the stock hole was around 1/16". That's the same size as the three holes on an evod. Except There's only one of them.

Although I'm not qualified, I recommend: Kayfun lite plus or Russian 91% or Kayfun lite clone.

That's what's on my Christmas list:)
