I have seen mentioned in a few threads here and there....about letting a carto sit for a day or two after refilling. This is to boost flavor as many feel that prefilled cartos seem to be more flavorful. Anyone doing this and is it working?

I also find pre-filled to have richer taste than the refills if vaped immediately.

Hmmm?

For giggles when i read this, i jumped up grabbed my stash and tested it out. I had 3 different sets of premium refills. Premium Cowboy, Premium Mt. Do, and Premium Watermelon. All the carts were refilled one month ago, and have been sitting, sealed inside my tackle case, with condoms on of course.

For comparison, i happened to have a fresh Premium Watermelon, factory filled, a fresh factory filled Premium Cowboy as well. No prefilled Mt. Do premiums left though.

Honestly, the RE-filled Premium Watermelon did taste sweeter, the RE-filled Cowboy tasted more robust as well. Honestly though, for me, with all the juice changes and differences going around as of lately, this is really hard to set as something solid. 8v( But certainly an interesting question!

One day won't hurt. And I want to test the theory that it is excess water in the juice that is diluting the flavor...so need the caps off. Was reading that nicotine is hygroscopic....attracts water.....

Wild theory....the manufacturer adds water to the juice bottles so they flow better and are easier to use when refilling. I recall folks saying that a past generation of juice was very thick and sticky.

Yes Maxx, after filling, put both caps (one with plug) on. Never disturbed them as I was testing. I figured a month was about right for the "from time the factory fills them to when I would open one" time period.

Again, I was using new blanks (not refilled pre-filled). Even went so far as to test 2 blank carts with the exact same filling/storing method, same juice. They matched each other in flavor, but did not match a factory pre-filled.

Has anyone tried removing the juice from a factory filled cart. and refilling it into a new blank? Or even refilling the same factory filled cart. you just got the juice from, just to see if there is a diff. in taste and hit..?

I've never even considered it. In fact, I'm not sure how you would reasonably approach such a task. I'm sure someone will have some insight or experience, though.
