Well I have already decided from all the stuff i have tried i prefer carto tanks I Have one from VVVapes which works well although I had no tank tool to change my cartos and i ruined the o-rings inside it (i will be ordering extras as soon as the site comes back on for Sales) So i got myself an AGR Tank and my pear juice from Mt Baker (didn't think of it to be a tank cracking juice but it is for this tyoe of plastic) SO Overnight i now have more cracks than i can count and believe it will be breaking sometime in the middle of tonight. ALTHOUGH its all i have so IDK I still have to other tank it came with but no cartos for it)

So can anyone give me any suggestions of a tank thats not $50 (only because i dont have that much right now looking in the sub $40 range if possible I was thinking about the Prive Clone it costs more than the AGR similar design just no locking bottom (AFAIK) has fill hole (not something i need) but IDK what the tank is going to be made out of I dont understand why they still use polycarbonate sure its clear and nice but it cracks if your not going to use glass how much more could polypropylene cost (maybe they just want ti clear IDK but it sucks)

ANYWAY sorry for the whining anyone got any ideas I Don't know why i cant find any. Well nothing but either DCT tanks (i have not heard the best about them) and the smoktek Dual coil tanks. I will probably purchase another from VVV but that's not going to be for at least another week. so any ideas? Better tanks or tank replacements for the AGR (that are not the same plastic these are WEAK TANKS the juices that crack it i have NEVER had a PROBLEM with in fact the first crack i thought was from dropping it or something waking up to see it practically spider webbed with cracks shocked me this morning)

Maybe give this a try:

X8 Carto Tank 3.0ml with Fill Port and Base Carto Secure Knob [gv-X8CartoTank] - $14.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I haven't seen any complaints yet about juices cracking them... I got one the same time I ordered my AGR, but the Phoenix carto's don't quite fit the AGR, so I've been using the X8 and it works nicely.
This tank description doesn't say what it is made of, but it appears to be polycarbonate plastic and will run into the same issues with problematic voltatile flavors.

You need a tank that uses either pyrex glass, polypropylene plastic (frosted appearance), or all metal. You need to read this blog article that I wrote and then you'll know what direction to go:

well Mtbaker Vapor Pear will crack your tanks (one of the tricky ones not citrus not cinnamon their must be maltic acid for sweetness IDK) but i do recommend the flavor if you have a glass tank and you like pear and its like a crisp pear very clean vape medium TH (Not a harsh TH i never know how to talk about TH as i prefer smooth or no TH) i got it with an extra flavor shot and if you like more flavor its good but i imagine with less flavor it would be smooth and crisp great summer vape.

Now I already own a VVV tank made of polypro but i damaged the inner o-rings as i had no tank tool when I inserted the carto i have one now and sadly since VVV is having hard times IDK when i might get that o ring but the IBtanked Tanks (standard model) is probably what i am going to get i was planning on getting a pyrex one from vvv too but i will be happy with an IBTanked tank I believe

I didnt know that the DCT tanks are polypro i thought they were polycarb so that's nice and i was thinking about the glass smoktek glass tank as it is low price and as long as it doesn't have the issues like the AGR. I guess it has more than the problem its made from polucarb it also i heard has random or large size carto hole and i even heard about it sometimes having too large of a hole for the fill cap to thread leading to flooding. Sadly now that i own one and purchased it because i just broke my last tank it sucks i didnt research it much. I like the carto lock idea though maybe it can be adapted to work on other tanks as a glass tank with SS caps would look nice together.

Anyway I wish I noticed it was polycarb instead of glass i guess i still cant think that company's should know what type of plastic not to use now but ya know i don't think they really care as long as people like me buy them.

sorry for the long post but does anyone think i might be able to use the carto lock on an IBTanked tank?

Do you really need the carto lock? I have IBTanked tanks (four of them) and have never used a carto lock and never had a problem...

I've never had a problem w MBV pear cracking tanks. Used it in the standard ego c, ego vision, and vivi novas

EXACTLY my thought this is why i thought it was due to dropping it when the first crack appeared but then after i awoke the next morning the tank was spider webbed with cracks! It was 20PG 80VG with one flavor shot I did not think it would do anything IMO the AGR tanks are POOR QUALITY sad as the HARDWARE is nice the tank is TERRIBLE although again i have heard terrible things about the HARDWARE too so stay away from this tank!!! yeah its cheap ALL AROUND price and QUALITY lol ALL IMO But i will be buying a Superior tank ASAP and will probably buy several more from them too

Do you really need the carto lock? I have IBTanked tanks (four of them) and have never used a carto lock and never had a problem...

no i don't need a carto lock at all just think its a cool idea I got a feeling the tanks from IBtanked will be of higher quality than i am used to i plan on getting one ASAP

I think you will be quite pleased with the quality of IBTanked. They offer a high quality product at a very reasonable cost. Sometimes their customer service may appear to be slow, but they are a small, family-run business and sometimes they just run out of hours in the course of their day. They do strive to offer the best service that they can and often go the extra mile for customers. I did a review of their company and product here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3318-3-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks-review.html

I have seven of their tanks currently, and likely will order a couple of the newer 22mm tanks soon.
