I have an AGR carto tank and am using Boge cartos. Is there any problem with filling it to the very top, or will this cause flooding?

Also, every time I fill the tank, it floods a bit. I usually just blow it out into towel, but I'm wondering if this is normal or if I'm doing something wrong.

EDIT: Sorry for the duplicate post. mods feel free to delete one.

If you look through the tank sub-forum threads here, you'll see any number of posts on the same problem you are experiencing with flooding with the AGR Tank. You can also view PBusardo's review of this tank on You Tube, where he shows the cause of flooding is from improper technique used when filling the tank with the fill hole. Completely blocking the fill hole with the needle or juice bottle tip forces too much pressure into the tank. A cartotanks works on the principle of negative pressure within the tank. Too much pressure causes flooding into the cartomizer.

The solution is to not completely block the fill hole while filling the tank. Allow some space in the fill hole to allow the air within the tank to escape so that the pressure can equalize as you add juice.

Even when this technique is applied, these tanks may still flood. It's a reason that I don't recommend these tanks.

Always leave about 20% of airspace within the tank when filling it. This allows negative pressure to be created within the tank to allow proper wicking of the juice from the tank to the cartomizer as you vape.
