Ahh my diamond got sharp

Ok... Not really...
I usually keep my batts in my pocket when I pulled it put for a vape and placed my finger on the tip I felt a point and looked... The diamond had flipped around and reseated in the housing

Have a feeling while you were working Whistles sir your battery got abused enough in your pocket for the diamond to come loose (yes, have done it myself, only the diamond didn't go back in), got turned around, and forced back into the top point up. Knowing what you do for a living, doesn't surprise me....

Yep, I've seen this before. My newer diamonds seem much more secure but on older models the diamond tip would freely turn and had quite a bit of play to it. If the end of the battery was bent or manipulated in any way the tips had a tendency to flip or even come out altogether.
