Since I discovered the proper dry burn method of cleaning and maintenance, I use one atomizer and only one atomizer.
No need to use a new one, even though I have about 30 of them.
I thought you (original poster) were a dry-burner?
Actually, I'm a water/ISO cleaner followed by a mini-dry burn to evaporate the water/ISO. I tend to over-fry them using dry-burn only techniques. My bad.
LOL. So I guess that's kinda why I asked. I guess the observation is that an atty probably averages around $8.00 (depending on where you get em) and one per month is not bad. I find the performance to be great. The old atty still works, of course, but... IDK... not quite as well as a new one. But that's me. Some people swear that their atties work good as new for 6 months. I bet if they put a new atty on, after primer clean out/
vape, that they would find the new atty to be better. I do anyway. Which leads me to believe that either A) this is a normal usage curve or
B) my cleaning method is not at 100% (probable). Either way, 1 atty per month is not bad... and the old one goes in the "emergency bin".
P.S. I should mention that I use 5v mods too... may wear down/stress the attys (joye 3.0 Ω ) quicker????
