Ok I tried to do so much research and just decided to go ahead and get a V2 starter kit because I just want something that works to start with... I am so excited waiting for it to come and the more I read the more concerned and confused I get.... I feel that I may have ordered the wrong kit... that maybe I should have ordered an ego kit... I couldnt find any sites with a 30 money back guarantee so I went with the V@...
ANYWAY- I wanted to know if anyone knew what all was compatable with the V2 battery?? I am interested in the tank system like the ego 510's and I thought that maybe I could just buy some accesories to transform my v2 into a tank system? I dont want to buy it and them not fit together! I just dont have a clue... does anyone know if anything is compatable with the v2s??

From what I can tell via a google search, it looks like the V2 battery is an 808. So it will fit with any 808 cartridge. These have a cotton-ish wick inside and the juice is pre-dripped onto the wick. The battery won't last the whole day, so if you are a pack a day smoker, you'll need 2. That's what I started on, but once I got used to it and committed, I went to a ego battery with a tank/juice. The vapor you get from a tank+juice and the larger ego battery is much better. If you have the cash and know you are going to stick with it, I'd go with the 510. There are a lot more tank options.
2 more things...
1. There is an 808 to 510 threaded adapter. I tried one once, but didn't like it. They are a pain to put on/take off and if you don't get it on tight, you get less of a drag.
2. You can buy a tank for the 808. Smartervapor.com sells them (called Budomizers). I use the 510 buds and they are very good, easy to fill, etc. You'll have to buy juice to fill the tank. The downside is your vape will be low due to the crappy v2 battery.
I'm no pro, but I've been vaping for a year with an ego (well, 2 of them in rotation).
Good luck!

Gotvapes.com sells 3 different "clearomizers" for the 808 threads. The fluxomizers (also known as the ce2) and the Phoenix bottom coil (known as the ce3) and Phoenix top coil. SmokelessImage.com also sells the ce3 and a new one called the nano, but the nano is currently out of stock. The v2's aren't bad, and I use them, but smokeless image is a much more well respected 808 vendor with quite possibly the best customer service in the industry. They also sell a much more extensive juice line, and they have a supplier's forum here on the ecf. V2 has its own forum which is a decent place to go as well.

I am familiar with the V2. It is 808 threading better known as kr808d. I don't have a problem with the batt itself it is 3.7v but only about 380mah if you get the extra long one. 100mah=equals about one hour of use so it doesn't last all day. The cartos they sell are quite expensive and they last for about 12 cigs at best. Their juice at 19.00 a bottle is overpriced unless things have changed in the last year. You will really have a hard time with tanks on a batt of that size. I would check out smokeless image and see what they have in the area of clearomizers since they are also 808 threading. You will be able to buy juice all over the net to refill the cartos just have to try some and see what you like best. Most of the batts they sell can be found for about 10-12 online.

Thanks for the info. Now I know that 808 is the same as kr808d :D .

Chances are, if you like it, you will end up upgrading to an eGo Twist or something with more power, in a few weeks anyway. The V2 will be a good emergency batt for you, so it's not a waste.

Agreed.. after 2 weeks on the V2 and, for me at least, the constant charging of 2 batteries made me quickly thing of a bigger and better delivery system. I'm now on 2 eGo Twists w/ Vivi Nova tanks and 1 battery is lasting me a day/day 1/2 and constantly have them in rotation. It's so much better but forgot my new PV setup and had the V2 which did in a pinch. Welcome to ECF and read up! If your anything like many here you'll be asking new questions, about new gear and setups soon! :)

Happy Vaping!
