I have no idea what I did. Last night after work I was trying to screw on a CE2 tank onto the Prodigy..........& it wouldn't screw on, wouldn't fire. My batteries were fully charged, everything looked good with the Prodigy.......nearly in tears, my husband says....you probably stripped it........I tried to screw a regular 510 atty on, nope wouldn't work. I refused to believe that I broke the Prodigy that i've had less than 2 weeks! I then went and cleaned the 510 connection with an alcohol pad.......still won't screw on. My husband told me that he'd fix it in the morning.

I just got home from work, anxious to see if my husband got the Prodigy to work. (He left it in the truck).........i'm like "Go, get it!!!" IT WORKS!!! Apparently my husband "raked the burr out". Now I have no idea what that means...........but it means that my Prodigy is back to being good as new! He also ordered me a 0.50mm fine thread tap just in case I accidentally screw up & do something like this again.

Lemme tell you, I could hardly sleep last night, not to mention work 12 hours today just wondering if I broke the Prodigy forever......Does Puresmoker sell new 510 top caps..........will my husband really be able to fix it.

I'm usually VERY careful with the things I own, so I have no idea how I stripped the threads or whatever I did.........but I am Super happy that it only took my husband 2 seconds to fix.

Just wanted to share my story. (not so you think i'm a blonde with a mod, but so you know that some things are easily fixable).

Got the AVE Sweet Tart on the Prodigy now............so happy, I just wanna vape & don't even care if I eat dinner. :)

Wow! Sounds like a HUGE Up & Down 24 hours jen!

Happy to see you hubby was able to fix it for you! I have yet to see a stripped stainless steel v3 adapter. It used to happen quite often on our brass adapter a couple years ago, but not with the stainless!

Happy to see you are happily tootin away again! And yes, for reference, we do sell 510 caps (adapters) :)

I guess it wasn't actually "stripped", according to my husband (he's a mechanic) there was a "burr" in the threads that wasn't allowing my attys/tank to thread on.

It's all in the past now..........forever & ever. amen :)

Haha ... Forever & Ever ... Amen ;)

Good to hear Jen! Hope you have a great weekend!

So, yesterday I learned that my 3.1 is built like a tank. I've got it in my pocket at work. My tank broke, juice all over the mod, my pants, everywhere. I'm in the bathroom. Pull the Prodigy out of my pocket, it's saturated. Prodigy in one hand, turning the water on with the other.................Prodigy falls into a sink full of water...........
I pulled it out, shoved a bunch of paper towels up inside, dried all of the parts off, put everything back into my pocket.

12 hours later, got home, put a new tank & battery on the Prodigy...........yep, it fires :)

(I hate it when stuff like this happens to my nice mods)........I mean if it was a joye 510, i'd have trashed it on the spot....

Cash,
at the moment.........it was not very nice.......it was indeed very sad.
12 hours later, I was like "oh hell yes, I knew it would still work!!" I honestly don't TRY to abuse my mods, it just sort of happens that way. I probably should be a beta tester for all new mods. I can take them to hell & back, then let everyone know how they perform. :)

Stuff happens, but mostly to me.........so nobody else has to worry about it. :)

haha ... Abuse the V3 all you want. Mine has so many battle wounds and scars, not a single spot is not beat up anymore. Mine has been run over, dropped on asphalt/concrete MULTIPLE times, made it through the washing machine 1 time, and is used as a tester for just about everything.

15 months later, she still hasn't skipped a beat. Scratches/Bruises/Scars = Character ....
