I ordered today 60ml smooth criminal 12mg 70vg and sahara blend, desperado, house blend, kona kick. all 12mg 70vg. 15% off free priority shipping. im on a tobacco kick! last time i odered i got devil dog, it was like licking a ash tray! i came back to it about 2 months later and it was great! like a real good cigarette. i was sorry to see the bottom of that bottle. now i can't order it. I went back to 12mg from 6mg. i find the lower nic really affects the flavor! using a reo grand .8ohm micro coil and sony vct5 battery. its gonna be hard to wait 3 weeks for steeping!!!

I'm going to suggest Just Criminal and Caramel Wildwood for you to try on your next order if you are into tobaccos those ones are fabulous!

Yes it's all about the packaging. Best you just stick with 5Pawns. :p
We may be able to help you find the problem but first some questions.
Q: What type of device are you using?
What ratio did you order in?
What's your steeping method?
Would be glad to help yas out.
hahaha ....
Itaste svd with evod and iclear 16

Taste is subjective ....
IMHO --- Well from experience - Iclear and a lot of clearomizers tend to mute many flavors. May want to try a different tank system and give it another go.
Many of the flavors I steep for at least 30 days, before even trying them.
I am not a fan of many of the Ahlusions flavors ... but a big fan of their Aromatic Blends. The Teas and Desserts -too subtle of a flavor for me,
with the exception of the Chocolate Almond - good!, Their coffee flavors are on the light side as well except for the Kona Coffee - that was pretty good
just a very dry vape, Caramel Coffee - more Carmel than coffee but was enjoyable.

Their tobacco line - I enjoy the Carmel Wild Woods, but it is not a true tobacco flavor (very subtle tobacco undertone), Peach wild woods, (same light tobacco undertone) but enjoyable,
peach river tree blend, crisp peach flavor (subtle tobacco undertone). If you want in your face tobacco ...you would find that in their aromatic blends. a must 60 day steep minimum --> the Caribbean Blend - great (straight forward tobacco, distenct Rum undertone), Sweet Georgia Peach -great fresh peach and (pipe tobacco taste)
Smoking Cherries -> great aged black cherry and (pipe tobacco taste)

They send you emails requesting feedback, and in my opinion, they do tailor future juices to suit you. I complained of a lack of flavor in my tanks, and Wow! are they tasty now!!!!!!

The aromatics have the distinct DNB (dirty neutral base) in those ones I'm quite sure of it. It isn't for everyone as it gives off an ashy taste. I got really burned out on it from DIY Inawera tobacco flavors. Some of the best out there imho.

Yes, I agree it is not for everyone, and not an all day vape. I do not get the ashy taste though.

Yes, I have requested to add "Breeze", an/or extra flavor to some of the flavors that I purchase from Ahlusions. Their customer service is top notch and they do listen, which is a plus!!!
I really wanted to enjoy the Teas, but I just don't.

Break out the tissues because it pains and saddens me a great deal when I read some first impressions and understand in the deep recess of my heart that your first experience could have been much better with AHL juices if only we had a FAQ (hint) for new folks.

I would like to compare 5Pawns (which you and I both like a great deal) and AHL. Hopefully this will give you some perspective and ideas along with the great help posts already appearing. Please, make no mistake, I regularly vape a number of 5P flavors along with AHL juices. Both create marvelous mixes but for better or worse approach it in different ways. It's understanding this difference which can be very very frustrating for the first order with AHL. A few thoughts:

1. 5P mixes for numerous delivery devices. T2, iclear, RDA, RBA etc. They deliver "flavor that satisfies" across all those devices. The AHL default mix is for a dripper (RDA or a quality RBA) and as others have stated that's the reason why your juice is "flat" and lacking flavor in many instances. As others have said, a feedback and request and AHL will increase the flavor profile for YOUR delivery devices. This of course has it's limits from a mixing perspective as the basic integrity/flavor profile of the juice must be preserved.

2. 5P delivers juice that is already steeped. Other than the first run of the Mixology line which was a little green and has since been corrected you just break the seal and vape. Many of the AHL juices require proper steeping and depending on the individuals taste buds that's 2 weeks steeping and we have a few that love one month of steeping or even 6 months. And of course, some that love the stuff "fresh".

3. At the risk of being banned from our "clan" /LOL /joke I would say that AHL juices in many cases (not all) are "understated" as compared to 5P. For example, I like bold banana and many (not all) of these banana centric AHL mixes are a little to "understated" for my buds even after a request to increase xxx to the max which has it's inherent limits. On the other side of the coin, Gambit from 5P is a top seller and is not "understated". It's so popular that my local B&M can't keep enough of it in stock and is universally loved by vapers using all kinds of delivry devices.

4. Both 5P and AHL strive for "authentic" and deliver. Both create grown up multilayered flavor profiles.

Well now I do agree with the muted flavor on some of AHL juices at least in the beginning for me. Which has got me to thinking about blueberry again. The very first AHL I tried was blueberry and I wasn't impressed at all. First off, it was a muted flavor and gave off the blueberry perfume associated with many blueberries I have tried, and I have tried beaucoups of blues. Star Dust being a favorite but still not a true blueberry. I really thought I had found several blueberries that were great but blueberry is a fickle flavor. It may start off great then diminish..as did The Plume Rooms Blueberries & Fresh Cream I just vaped the last of. While still a great blueberry, diminished quickly.

So here is my plan, (okay Robin I hear the snickers all the way from Columbus) :p I'm ordering AHL Blueberry again in a 30ml bottle this time. I'm getting it in 50PG not 70PG and I'm steeping it a whole damn month. If it isn't a worthy blueberry then I'm done with this unicorn chase. I'll just stick with SOME blueberry flavor and to hell with it.
So bummed TPR Blueberries and Fresh Cream went south on me! :(

I actually meant THIS one.

Okay well it is in my files but as a 100%Vg no order. What that means is either at the time I was chasing blueberries they only had that in 100%VG and I dripped 70PG. So nope neither has been tried. I see they now have it in 50PG which will do fine. I may tried it Idk.

There is another uber expensive eliquid from Vapor Craft, (FOG FUEL -- RACE GAS) delightful true blueberry juice but like your suggestion, uber expensive.

Alright, I'm going to ask a stupid question here, but on the TPR Blueberries, were you vaping it every day until you got to that point where you say it diminished? The reason I ask is because I've noticed this happen to me too, but it turned out that I was vaping a particular flavor every day and I started noticing it not tasting as flavorful. So I put it aside for a couple of weeks and then came back to it and it was just as good again...apparently my taste buds had gotten tired of it! IDK if that's the case with you, but just a suggestion.

I hear ya, but my philosophy is .... if I want it, I buy it. I've spent a lot of dollars on trial and error flavors, but that is the way of vapor chasing!

So it "diminished" or what I call it "turned" Yep, that's happened to me on just a few juices but I have a little "experiment" which appears to work for me.

When your juice hits the "sweet spot" and by that I mean it's yummy and just the way you like it then take some of this juice and pour it into a Boston Round Glass with Phenolic Polyseal Caps. See : E-Juice Glass & Plastic Bottles

Label it clearly and place it inside two baggies and seal tightly. Then place it in your FREEZER. Your freezer effectively stops the aging process and from my tests prevents the juice from "turning/diminahes" the wrong way. Then when you need more of your perfect love juice, remove your bottle from the freezer, let it reach room temp naturally, and use some of your stash in another container for your daily vape and the remaining stash goes back in the freezer.

Sounds harder than it is once you get into the swing of things. Not for everyone but we gota due what we gota due.

Glad I read this before ordering the FOTW - when I really don't need more juice at the moment!

Ha! You know me well dear..but no actually I had put it away as soon as my AHL order came in around the 7th. Today I got the notion for some blueberry goodness and poof..the blueberries are barley there now. Still good but not as good. Knowing how I am about blueberries you can understand my frustration. ;)
