So I received my order last night. Opened everything up for a fresh breath of air, did some shaking, hot water bath until it cooled to room temp, shake some more, caps off for a couple hours, caps on and a shake and then testing each one on the dripper today!
These are all the 90vg/10pg @18nic w/sweetner (no sweetner on the BVC) on a k101 w/Igo W5, single coil @1.4 w/organic cotton.
The Banana Cream Pie is great FOOB(kinda, see above, lol). I can taste the creamy banana on inhale and a yummy toasted crust on exhale. I had a horrible experience with another vendors' BCP so it was the last one I tried being a bit sketched out still. Umm ya, so it's still on the dripper and it went from a test taste to drip, drip, drip. It's so tasty, I really like it but I'm going to have to re-order it in a lower nic before I off myself, but definitely a reorder!!
The Red, White and Blueberry was my #2 FOOB. I'm getting the strawberry strong and a hint of blueberry with lots of coconut on the exhale. I really like it. I was debating on the creamy coconut or this one and I like the coconut flavor so the creamy will be on my next order. I'm not a fan of toasted coconut and this coconut is creamy, I'm not tasting toasted at all and that's just how I like it. I'm going to let this one steep for a week with daily shaking and see if the blueberry flavor comes up some.
Blueberry Vanilla Cake, needs some steep time, it's pretty close for me so I don't think it'll take long. I love this blueberry flavor. When I opened the bottle it smelled very similar to a couple other blueberry flavors from other vendors that either taste nothing like an actual blueberry or taste like a plastic moldy blueberry. This tastes like an actual, real blueberry!! I get a bit of cake on the exhale but no real vanilla, I think with a lil steeping it'll be there.
Strawberry Vanilla Cake, again going to let it steep for a few days to let the strawberry mature a bit but it's all there, I can taste the cake on exhale and hints of vanilla. I think with steeping it'll come together great!
The difference in the SVC and BVC is that I added sweetner to the strawberry but the blueberry was my sample and it had no sweetner added. I'm really glad they did it that way. I think the sweetner is what needs to steep on the strawberry, more so than the actual flavor. I can definitely taste the difference in these two and I don't think I'll order sweetner in the future. My first impression is that the flavors are so authentic and rich the sweetner really isn't needed on the cake bakery items. I have a serious sweet tooth and I'm trying to find vapes that will help me cut back on the sugar in my diet, so I see sweetner and think full steam ahead but on the reorder I'll be leaving it off.
So after this go 'round I have another order already on the way (70/30), and after I try those out I'll put together a reorder in lower nic for the dripper. I'm definitely going to try the Lemon Vanilla Cake and Creamy Coconut on that one, knowing my penchant for sweets and bakery any other suggestions?
