Adding the air control attachment to a Protank makes a world of difference GD. Do you have one? Got my Protanks out of the drawer and back in action.

I had one a year ago but it had no knurling on it and so I had to take it off with a pair of pliers, completely tearing it up in the process.

I'm sure the kayfun is fine, it's just my laziness (or rather interest in spending fiddly time with other hobbies I have). I built a few coils that produced excellent results btut only for a fraction of the time a factory coil would've. But for every one that worked two attempts didn't. I just want to set it and forget it so to speak.

Yes, I get that "fizz" effect as well. I don't think it will go away completely with steeping.

I must say, this flavor is very unique to Ahlusion's line up. Very impressed with the creativity.

Mine arrives tomorrow. Much as I love it at first, any fizz aspect worries me as it fades quickly in Cherry Cola and Sarsaparilla. If it's like that pair it's better bought in 15mls.

Just to be clear, I definitely do not think that the sour component is in any way related to the fizz in the Sas or Cherry Cola. I was only hoping out loud that it wouldn't fade with age. I have no reason to suspect it will.

Anyone vape Lemon Vanilla Cake out of a kayfun with micro/cotton? I cant go through more than 2-3mls before it starts tasting burnt.
I
OK, I previously poo-pooed this as build related, but may have to take that back. I'm getting burnt hits from my KFL+ with LVC after 2 tank fills. It has me stumped, because it's the same coil that previously was problem free. If I dry burn, re-wick, refill I'm good for another 2 tanks before it starts to burn. FWIW, mine are 11 wrap 1.6 ohm micro coils, cotton wicked, firing at 3.7 volts. But still- can't be the juice?

Most of you are unaware that for the last three weeks I have been back plowing through my Stash to establish my final Ahlusion favorites.

I have been a juice Mixer lately by mixing 6 MG & 0 MG mid sized bottles, and juggling up to six Carto Tanks at a time. This exercise was not to establish an All Day Vape but it was done with one criteria in mind; I am at 3 MG now and I have every intention to reduce to 0 MG in the near future.

My main criteria was to establish what I would feel comfortable with, and to have the confidence in ordering my favorite Ahlusion flavors in the 60 ML size when I do shift to 0 MG. Hence, a practical exercise. Some of the flavors listed below I have vaped for weeks on end so I need to emphasize again that this was not an ADV exercise.

I have also found with some Ahlusion flavors that when I tried them at 6 MG, then mixed 6 MG & 0 MG to 3 MG, there was a loss of interest at my end due to loss of flavor.

Flavor Chasing; I rinse and retain the 10 ML Bottles since they are so handy to have. When I look at how many that I have on hand it is truly mind numbing. I still have Caramel Pear White Tea, Peachy Criminal, and Sleighride to try again, and then I am truly tapped out from trying any more from the Ahlusion menu no matter how hard you try to Enable me.

There were a few surprises performing this exercise. I became quickly addicted to Just Criminal, and I could not believe how fast I devoured 60 ML's. If Wlad and Company changed what I was vaping then it will be me blowing a gasket when I restock. Ice Kiss was also a huge surprise since I initially envisioned that I would be culling this one out. I researched this one, and found a comment that indicated The Plume Room's - Creamy Mint was very similar so I will order this one from them to try.

Tarte Tatin Pear; This one caused me fits since I would like it one day, and then lose interest in it the next day. I finally became so frustrated with this one that I culled it out.

Lessons Learned; I should have listened to Wlad. I received two e-mails from Wlad when I presented a question on 3 MG. Obviously, he knew what I was doing by looking at my Account, and he advised me to reduce to 0 MG now. I did not listen, and like a squirrel gathering nuts for the winter my Stash grew to a gigantic proportion. I got wrapped up with all of the Sales so I really needed to reduce the Stash to a manageable quantity.

Here is my list with comments in no order of preference;

Vanilla Wild Wood

Maple Wild Wood

Winter Wild Wood (Smaller doses than VWW & MWW)

Just Criminal

Sahara Blend (Need to try again Steeped)

Lemon Cream (Shoot Out comments below)

Lemon Vanilla Cake (Shoot Out comments below)

Lime Cream

Ice Kiss

Strawberry Shortcake

Tarte Tatin Apple (Need to try again Well Steeped)

Ahlusion Lemons; I have discovered that I love Lemon vapes but this is a hard flavor to find. In another thread, I have discovered other vendors to try so I plan to do a shoot out with; Beantown Vapor - Lemonem, P.O.E.T. - Nonne Torta Al Limone, and The Plume Room - Lemon Chiffon Pie.

Now that my Ahlusion list is finalized I have also decided to explore offerings from other vendors. I have a very big fondness of Heathers Heavenly Vapes of which I started vaping with, I have started exploring The Plume Room, will try NicoTicket again, and to a smaller degree I will try Five Pawns.

Starting mid November I will be vaping HHV for a couple of months to celebrate my One Year. I will still check in on what you peoples are up to, and please keep posting those Sale Alerts :).

DJLEC.....hope you'll post somewhwere on the lemon quest. I love lemon too.

Has anyone been using a recent batch of Peachy Criminal? Has it changed?

Join us here Lisa,

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/613647-best-lemon-bakery.html

I have already sent the OP a couple of Samples since some of us in that thread have a vested interest to find the best Lemon.

Peachy Criminal will be the last Peach that I try.

I do not do well with Apple or Peach overall.

After vaping a lot of NET's lately I decided to change it up this morning with a tank of Strawberry Shortcake. Altered my thinking a bit, getting past that tobacco note I so desire most of the time, and I have to admit-- I am really enjoying it. I don't know if it's because of the steep or what, but the strawberry isn't so strong like it was before. I am glad I didn't put this up for trade now.

Nice post DJLEC...I have come to the conclusion that if I continue on my recent re orders of my top 5 AHL that I shall become so burned out on them that I won't go back. Hence my search for other nice tobaccos and fruit flavors. I won't completely stop ordering from AHL but now and then try suggested fruits here.
The suggested Lemon Vanilla Cake was so good I vaped a 30ml bottle in a matter of three or four days. It's all but gone with a half a 6ml Reo bottle or less remaining.

So my top five with the exception of RR,(can't see me ever getting tired of that one) even though when I try to describe it, it's a major fail..lol
So for now, Shipwreck, Just Criminal, Caramel Wildwood, and Strawberry Vanilla Cake will be put on the back burner for re order until I have vaped myself silly trying other vendors. I'm very much into NET and have branched off to TPR and going to try HHV NET also.

Next order will contain two..being Lemon Vanilla Cake,(sooo addictive) and of course my all time favorite juice even though if ya ask me I still can't pin point just WTH it taste like. Rick's Request is suppose to be Raisin Pudding but due to the complexity of this flavor, I hardly detect raisin at all..lol :p

Help requested from melon lovers: I tried some Melonade last night and POW! It burst through my taste buds like magic! Delicious!
May I ask if someone could "compare and contrast" Crisp Melon and Melon-Berry Frost with the Melonade? I like tangy generally and want to avoid anything too sweet.

Penny, Melon Berry Frost is very pale and muted in flavor compared to Melonade. Crisp Melon is a lot like Melonade, but without the mint chaser. Melonade is my favorite of the three.
I've been down with the flu or something similar, but I'm starting to feel a little better now. Everything tastes terrible to me at the moment except Sleighride made with extra mint.

Thank you, Mia. And I hope you feel better soon! I'll stay with the Melonade, then. It's been a while since I got much new and I think that'll be my next 30ml.

I spend a lot of time longing for something tart or sour. I find something that quenches the thirst for awhile but not for long. I wonder if Sapphire might be the thing for that

The Sapphire is actually quite nice. I haven't had it long enough to say it makes my favorite list but it's well worth the money. Have you tried Zing yet? That's among my favorites. It comes in sweet or tangy variants. Despite some sweetness, the sweet one is my favorite and is still massively tangy.
