Decided to give some others a shot so i stopped by on lunch and grabbed a caramel apple, blueberry vanilla cake and strawberry midnight. Not usually my style but figured i would give them a shot. They dont stock the gold member or boba coffee in the store as express so i am going to order those online next week and pick them up at the store.

So just about every regular on this thread has been promoted to a gold member except for myself so far. At first my feelings weren't hurt but they are starting to be I was reminded though I have a friend about 30 minutes to their shop. At the moment I'm figuring out my "can't live withouts" from them. I tried my strawberry shortcake again last night and it doesn't make the cut. I think I just don't like strawberry vapes.

There are plenty of us Jenna so do not feel alone. Despite being a regular feedback provider I doubt my purchases will put me over the top and I'm not really into the whole have and have-nots game being played.

As a small business owner I do agree that Wlad can do whatever the heck he wants with his business. But his actions will also directly affect the business. Right now he is seriously lacking in the communication and transparency departments, If it weren't for those of us sharing some of these mind boggling emails how much would any of us really know? The common trend in these threads is always that if you don't hear it from the Mothership don't believe it. The trouble is rarely do they actually tell us what's going on. Their lack of communication led to all of us sharing useless disinformation about the profile system for well over 6 months. Heck, it had been shut down for 6 months before I started vaping in March. It would have taken far less time to send a group email or make a Facebook post than it does to answer a whole bunch of emails from confused angry customers. So far in my time with Ahlusion I've had to explain to my friend why everything I told her about flavor profiles was false and I've got to explain to my step-mom that pretty soon the juice she was using to quit a lifetime of smoking will no longer be available because she's not a Gold Member. I've got friends in the same boat with parents who just quit smoking with Ahlusion. And it's really a shame because Ahlusion is doing so many other things right. But telling a customer that you are glad he doesn't like the juice because soon you won't be selling it to him anyway is not the answer. With that I'll follow Sirius out the door. I have no idea what I'll replace Shipwreck, Just Criminal, and CWW with but I guess it's time to find out.

I have a very, very picky palate -- especially when it comes to pg/vg/nic bases!

Before AHL, I spent literally thousands of dollars on ejuice I found I could not vape, because they either had NO flavor (to me) or because they made me nauseous!

Too many vendors have now gone to undisclosed pg/vg ratios mad, or refuse to offer a VG level as low as 30%. I'm sorry, but even if your VG doesn't make my stomach churn, I cannot and will not waste my money on 30mls of vg-heavy juice that makes my chest feel heavy. I do not have COPD (thank God), so I certainly do not want to vape juice that makes me feel as if I did!

Enter Ahlusion. [Cue angel choirs: ]

Finally, a vendor who uses the purest, cleanest nic, pg & vg on earth; that doesn't ever make my stomach roll or my lungs feel heavy (heck, I could even get most juices in as little as 10%vg!! Alleleuia!!!); and moreover whose flavors are incredibly palatable to me (except for cakey, bready things, which I have concluded will just NEVER translate to vapor for me). Add to that the fact that the prices are exceptionally reasonable, the juices are always consistent in flavor and quality, and the owner is nearly obsessive about cleanliness and safety of his products, and --

Ahlusion is for me the PERFECT vendor, the vendor qua non. If I am ever unable to acquire Ahlusion eliquid, I will probably have to just stop vaping. I'm done with experimenting and getting queasy, greasy or nasty results elsewhere.

This really is a HUGE deal for me. So far, it seems that I will be OK as I have had Gold Status since early 2013 (at least?). But who knows what ill winds will blow in the future, either from the FDA or Wlad himself. I really don't want to even think about it.

Truth is if i had as picky a palate as you do, and i had found a vendor which suited my palate as perfectly, and i rated that vendor so much higher than others etc... i would be willing to put up with almost anything to get my elixir, as well. When you put it the way you just did, i can understand a little more why certain posters seem to jump to the defense of all Ahlusion decisions and declarations, even if they come across as inconsistent, contradictory and non-transparent to me, at times.

As is, i rate Ahlusion highly as far as the quality of juice overall, and there are about a half dozen of their juices that are a semi permanent part of my arsenal. But they are one of many vendors i buy from, some of whom i rate higher than Ahlusion in some categories of juice.

While i don't share your enthusiasm for all things Ahlusion, i fully understand.

I sincerely hope that you will be able to purchase your Ahl juices for many years to come

Oh and i wanna thank you again for your recommendation of LFR and i believe CPBT as well. Thankfully i have a one year supply of those !

Wow, Eleanor. Your experience with finding Ahlusion and your taste in flavors run very similar to mine. Cakey vapes do not translate well for me either and in my case add in the no custards or cinnamons or spices in abundance.

The only other vendor I have found that totally agrees with me and I like their flavors is The Plume Room. I tried a handful of nets and they are either too strong or too gunky for me to enjoy and the bases of several other vendors always tastes 'off' to me or downright nasty no matter how long I steep them.

I read other threads following various juice vendors occasionally and very few go into detail on what the juice and flavors Really taste like. Unless the gourmet juice thread has changed it was the same thing there. Seemed more into pushing the lastest greatest juice vendor then a review of the juices.

The main reason I love Ahlusion has been their consistent top quality juice. I have just received my latest order with the new formulation of Smooth Criminal. I am afraid to try it for fear it will not be to my taste like the old formula was. Steeling up my courage for that.

I was toying with starting a thread about an Ahlusion contingency vendor plan. Somewhere we could post about 'just like's or similar juices. I do not want to be disloyal to Ahlusion but I have no clue as to what vendors to try for backups if necessary.

ETA - I also can not and will not pay $1 per ml for juice. Period.

AMEN, SISTER! When I found Ahlusion, nearly 18 months ago, the search was over. Even with their juices that I vape regularly, I find myself repeatedly saying, out loud, DAMN, THAT'S GOOD!

Rabbit hole? More like a rabbit crater... Honestly, it has been over a year since I have tried any juice from a new vendor. I have Plume Room to go to for a couple of flavors and NLV for their Gold tobacco flavor but other than that I do not have a clue of where to even start to spread my wings if I have to. So I am going to make sure I have plenty of my favorite Ahlusion flavors on hand for whatever the future brings.

Oh, and I have bought a whole bunch of stuff to do Diy juices. I totally stink at it so far. Nothing vapeable, let alone to some day replace my Ahlusion.

And I agree with you on the new thread topic. Only after the fact, if it becomes a fact.

As i mentioned earlier, I Stopped by today at lunch and picked up some flavors I wouldn't normally try. Recovering from the stomach flu so even the thought of vaping my regulars makes me.......uhhhh, makes bad things happen. I picked up Blueberry Vanilla Cake, Strawberry Midnight and Caramel Apple.

The BVC was too sweet and i couldn't handle it. Maybe I will give it a shot when i am back to 100%. Haven't tried the strawberry yet but the caramel apple is amazing! Wow! This may become my new go to juice! Definitely have to get it in a lower nic though because i am vaping it so much but it is sooooooo good!

Eleanor that was an excellent point and needed to be made and yes it applies to me too.
When I found AHL I was almost feed up and nowhere to turn. I was spending money like nobodies biz and stuff was coming to my mailbox sometimes 6-7 packages a week. All of it was making me feel sick, the plastic-ky taste, the cake taste, the feeling of vaping grease, UGGHH.
I was so happy to find AHL and it made vaping for long term becoming a reality for life for me.
The above is what made me a loyal fangirl.
I guess I just ignore what some perceive as bad customer service, game playing, selective selling etc etc.
I ignore it because I feel he owes us nothing and has given us much.
There are things that have not seemed alright sometimes, YES I am going to mention Son of a Peach, the recent unknown status of how to become a Gold member but I can not ignore that my one year anniversary happened in part due to AHL

Shari there are some recipes that are at 20% and Bill will help you lesson the percentage if need be. He is great and helpful and right there when you need him.

I'm so glad someone else feels this way. There hasn't been many but the couple trolls that dropped in are annoying to say the least. I agree with everything you said, it's a huge deal to me as well. The business model is strange, to say the least, but certainly there is a bigger picture that we don't know about and Wlad is making his decisions accordingly. That said, I'm not giving up. I think I've narrowed down my 5 must haves, and I'll just order a bottle or two every feedback coupon (just got one yesterday, yay!). Perhaps there is still hope for me to earn gold member status, depending on how much time we have left. And even if not, a nice forum friend reminded me he's 30 minutes from the shop and will help me out if need be. I just love Ahlusion, and like Chanel said, I just try and ignore all the strange-ness that comes with it Ignorance really is bliss! LOL
