I had it first love. Then Lemon Cream replaced it then LVC replaced that for me ;) I may still have a super steeped 10 ml in my box.

You just have to infuse the forebundle of your brain with that super steeped and let me know if your toes curl k? :D

MAX V is in the house! I didn't really care to order max VG liquids, but I was interested in buying 3 mg/mL. I haven't tried them yet (it's so cold outside, I have to let them get to room temp), but the nose of the liquids is definitely inviting. Alton is up first and then Fort Custard. I won't judge these liquids until they have a few days rest, but all signs are pointing to them being really good.

Really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Fort Custard. What is Alton? I don't see it on their website. What are you going to vape the Max VG with, dripping atty? I've been reallly using the KFL's a lot lately. Don't think they'd work well in that.

Hi Bukket! Oh yeah, I'd LIVE in that hospital. The view was tremendous, the food incredible, the staff SO friendly. The window was ceiling to almost floor, and wall to wall. I asked for permission to vape, and my Doc said it smelled great, didn't hurt anyone else and the nicotine wouldn't interfere with treatment so go ahead. Had some good books, it was the life for a few days. Not sure they still allow vaping though, but they're pretty progressive there.

Alton is in the Max V line. Anyone else think it's weird those are only available in 10mls? Kind of obnoxious, right? Or is that just me?

All over the place
MAX V; 3 mg/mL vaped out of a Magma DC/.5Ω at 30 w

Alton

My initial impression of this liquid (meaning my very first taste) was that it was almost too strong of a flavor. Seriously, I was hit in the face with what tasted like a vape-blast of orange *sorbet. I really could not believe how much flavor came out of that first vape. It was really amazing! I continued to vape it for a few 10-15 mintues as I found the flavor to be really spot-on and extremely tasty.

But that was when I first vaped it. After a few hours (and not much vaping in between) it was as if the flavor disappeared on me. Not too sure if this is about the 90+% VG taking over, the newness for the liquid or maybe even my own hardware/palate. Don't know what is at fault, but from what I can tell I would prefer this liquid to not be with so much dadgum VG. But I do love the low nic. As of now this liquid is only in the MAX V line, so I will likely hold off on a reorder until I can get it in the custom line. High VG is fine with me (from a wicking standpoint), but I am more interested in flavor than looking at what I've exhaled.

*Although it says sorbet, to me it tastes more like sherbert since (AFAIK) sorbets don't typically have dairy, and to me this tastes like it has a milky base which sends signals of sherbert to my brain. [This liquid is not as creamy as Pineapple Cream, which is supposed to be Pineapple ice cream, but the two are somewhat connected in how they play in the vape.] I don't really know how a vape like this could taste merely like a sorbet without tasting just like a fruit blend considering fruit sorbets are typically just fruit, sugar and juice frozen to a specific firmness -- without the frozen part, what do you have? Either which way, imagine a bowl of melted orange sherbert and that is how the Alton tasted at first vape. Hopefully that comes back or hopefully this liquid will come in the normal custom line!

Fort Custard

This liquid, much like Alton, blew me away at first. Very flavorful, almost-velvety, egg-y, slightly sweet and a *touch of lemon. It tasted to me to be a very, very solid offering into the 'safe' custard liquids out there.

*If I was a betting man, considering how much I've worked with this flavoring, I would say there is likely FA Custard in here. From what I've read, a lot of Italian custard recipes are "aromatized" with a some lemon peel (or zest) and as HIC has said, FA is an Italian company so it makes since that they would include that in their custard flavoring. But don't get it twisted, my speculation about one flavoring being in there is not the sum of Fort Custard. Not even close! Wlad has somehow built a custard base (the type of 'custard' that most people are looking for in a vape) and it feels pretty close but without the blanketing mouth-feel of diketones. So with this liquid you do have some mouth-feel and some of that sweet egg-y taste that I like -- and that little touch of lemon brightens it up a lot. It really is quite tasty. I don't know if most normal custard fans would feel this liquid hits the spot, but me not being a vaper of those liquids (the ones with diketones), it works for me. At this point I would definitely reorder this one, but it will not be from the MAX V line becasue I encountered the same problem as Alton with the flavor disappearing (though with Alton the loss of flavor was more drastic, likely becasue of how much initial flavor Alton had).

Spot on description of what diketones feel like in the mouth vaping. I'm vaping Creme Brulee atm and I get that blanket or film feeling from it. Nice to know Ahl custards don't do that..Thnx Mann. ;)

thanks Mann-went to bed in a panic because this is one of two 120 mls I bought last weekend. Too fickle to make that big of an investment before so instead I have 1 million and 99 bottles of 30ml aging to the point where I will have to toss.
Just don't vape it all in one sitting and you should be a'ight. ;)

I just tracked my order which I placed on Monday, the 17th. Ahlusion sent it out on the 18th-so far, so good. USPS sent it to Delaware! Last time I checked Delaware was not between Michigan and Ohio! Oh well, I have plenty of juice to vape. Gotta love the USPS, sending packages on a tour of the US when it's freezing outside!

I didn't read through the bazillion replies so this may have been asked and answered.

I ordered smooth criminal, just criminal, and deal maker a while back. Tried them every week or so.

They all have a sweet flavor and smell, like cotton candy. Is that expected? I was expecting more tobacco flavor.

Using a lemo between 12 and 20 watts. 80 vg.

I haven't tried Deal Maker, but the other two ( one of which i love ) are definitely on the sweeter side of the spectrum. I don't know how long you have been vaping, but " tobacco " covers a wide range in vaping. Not sure why certain flavor profiles ( RY4's, Boba types etc ... ) were called tobacco's by vendors, but vapers accepted the definition. From the Ahl tobacco's i have tried, Sahara Blend is probably the one most new vapers would identify most with tobacco. It's a good one.

For more " authentic " tobacco flavor, you would probably have to try some NETs, but they tend to gunk your coils a lot faster.

Yeah, I'm familiar with HHV, MVJ, and NET.com. figured I'd give ahlusion a shot. Good quality to be sure, just a little sweet for my taste. Sweet, in this instance, is the primary flavor I pick up, and not something I'd classify as "A hint of..."

USPS has been horrible lately! I had something sent to me on the 9th, from Florida, and just got it yesterday. I could have drove there and back faster than the 9 days it took through the mail.

Sorry to hear but glad it isn't working the other way around. Last order was two days order to delivery. Maybe even the USPS packages are cold averse this time of year.???? For you baseball fans in Michigan, Tiger pitchers and catchers reported yesterday. First game March 2. :toast:

Billow Berry, Oasis, and Fort Custard are on track to be here tomorrow. :toast:

Thankfully my other order with a 60ml of Pineapple Brulee arrived today! I emptied the last bottle today and was going into panic thinking I'd be without it. Lol. I'm so addicted to this flavor.

I just got my order of pineapple brûlée, more CPBT and some vanilla black tea. Is the PB good foob? I would have popped it open and filled a tank but I just retrieved it from between the front door and storm door and it's .... cold and snowing and I thought I'd give it a chance to get back to room temp first!!

Give it a few days. Don't judge it too quickly. It is decent FOOB, but it takes a few days (IME) to balance out.
