Yes! I'm not crazy! I ordered plain Boba Tea.....and tasted coconut. I thought that I was mistakenly sent Boba Tea Coconut. I mentioned it here on the thread and was told that the regular Boba Tea has a hint of coconut. To me, it's like toasted coconut.

Lisa66, thanks for confirming because I do have the plain Boba Tea. I tried a small bottle of this and did not notice it previously but this was most likely before the buds were back to normal. It will be moved out of the Stash now.

Oh Well, another excuse to order something different when I get my Coupons.

You'd think, right? But frankly, I've never had Boba Tea (drink) before.....just some Thai teas and bubble teas....so I had no idea what to expect. I'll bet that's the way it's supposed to be; I just didn't know any better.

There is a coconut feeling to Boba Tea, but while I don't have and have never owned Boba Tea Coconut, I have had some and the differences were definitely apparent. It would be cool to try them back-to-back.

Yah, I can confirm this. I seemed to taste coconut when I first got plain Boba Tea, but then I acclimated to it and never noticed again. Then I got Boba Tea Coconut, after having vaped plain as part of my daily rotation for months, and it definitely had distinct coconut. The odd thing, however, is after vaping only BTC for about a week, I didn't notice it again! It seemed I was vaping plain, with a slightly different after taste. I'm sure I'll notice the difference when I do go back to plain for a while. So what's the point of all this? I guess it's that we do a fair amount of acclimating to flavors. That's not to say someone with an aversion to coconut will just get over it in time, but there are some juices that taste different when we're first exposed to them. Sometimes it's cyclic, too, like when you get away from a flavor for while it can go back to early impressions.

A thought on Fijian Nights, as I vape it through the afternoon: could one of the spices be dill? seems odd, I know, but it vaguely reminds me of dill. It's an herb in the celery family, which could explain that odd first impression.

That is an impressive list. My list is going through some major growing changes. I have been just dripping my whole vaping career. I recently got a couple of R91s and flavors that I did not care for that much, or liked on the atty are tasting totally different when I put them in the r91.

So I am in a total state of confusion on what a significant number of my juices taste like. It is almost like starting over for me and re-experiencing Ahlusion for the first time. I am quite surprised at how different some of my flavors taste in the r91.

And with that revelation, I should buy about 5 more Russians. No budget for that so it will be a long term project. A pleasurable one though.

Shari, I just received, ehpro clone of kfl+. Really impressed ! $ 35 shipped from U.S. source ... have a few kfl and r91 clones, but this one is a lot closer in quality and performance to the originals than the clones.

Well, it's settling down a bit. Perhaps getting used to the wick, so to speak. At first, I really didn't know what to make of it. I thought I even tasted celery, but this doesn't have any pear in it, right? no pear skin?

Sometimes I think I taste pear in Fijian Nights! Whatever it is in there, it's good!

I ran home to grab the forgotten Fijian Nights vape. I live just 2.5 miles from work, and I had a a lull in the action

It's good, but still very hard to pick out anything specific in it. Nothing seems particularly distinct. I can't say I taste the coconut, but there are hints. The same goes for pineapple. Not noticing banana, but A+ banana is subtle, at least in my BCP. There is a slight coolness to the finish, but I wouldn't call it mint. And finally, there's one peculiar flavor that I can't attribute to any fruit. Perhaps some of the spice.

How's that for a definitive review?

It's the same for me. I never knew what was in it. I just knew it was good. Lol. That's why it's in the drink category. Drinks are more of a mix of flavors.

LOL, I babysit Contractors for a living and believe me they need it .

In my short time here I thought that I was the only one sitting alone in the corner unable to vape Coconut.

Are you serious on the Boba Tea? I have two small bottles in the Stash that were purchased before I discovered my sensitivity to Coconut. I will have to let them go if this is true.

I don't taste coconut at all in Boba Tea. I do taste Tapioca which is what is in Boba Tea. Maybe some people are thinking that the tapioca is coconut? The taste is similar. But not the same. I like Boba Tea but I love Boba Tea with Coconut.

I would use the Contact Us form and ask about coconut so we can have a definite answer. When it comes to sensitivities I don't want to take any chances with anyone having a reaction. It's possible that it could be used to enhance the flavor but I don't taste it. I love all things with Ahlusion coconut and I don't taste any of it in Boba Tea.

My first batch of Ahlusion liquids hit the one-month resting date on Monday. This is going to be the longest long weekend in the history of long, and weekends. They're just sitting there, mocking me, waiting for my willpower to desert me and ignore my self-imposed tasting rules.

What a great way to spend Memorial Day Weekend! Go for it and enjoy. They've steeped long enough. (If you count the shipping time it's been a month)

I don't know spices but I don't taste dill or celery. I'm going to contact Ahlusion and ask them about the coconut. I'll let you guys know what I hear back. May be a bit with the long weekend.

I replaced Fijian Nights with Melonade in the Kraken, along with a fresh wick. There was an initial harshness, as the new new wick was breaking in, but now it's pretty much as you'd expect: fresh honeydew with a splash of lime. Delicious and refreshing. It gets a slight nod over Crisp Melon, the sample of which prompted me to order 30ml of Melonade. I knew it would be great with A+ lime, and it is. Getting better by the minute, actually

Got a nice lineup of summer vapes now: Summer Tide, Piña Colada, Crisp Melon, Fijian Nights, and Melonade. Of course, Lime Cream and Mango Lassi are also perfect for warm days. The problem now, as always, is which one to choose for a given day!

There have been several Ahlusion flavors that I did not like when fresh out of the mail. The most notable was Smooth Criminal. After all the praise that was heaped on that flavor and the fact that my dripping mentor loved it, I waited patiently, forever and a day, for it to steep. After 6 weeks it is heavenly.

Most all improved significantly. A couple are just not to my tastes. I find that many new vapers do not have the patience or the knowledge to wait for a long steep or do not have the luxury of a juice stash to be able to do so. Plus, some vapers are looking for different things from their juices. A cinnamon red hots vaper may not appreciate something like a delicate tea or a fruit cream or layered flavors.

Do you have a link you can share? I have an Igo-L and I find that I do not like the vape on it. It is a totally different draw and I get a sore throat from the way I have to use it, so it is in the emergency vape drawer and not being used for daily use any longer.

Yeah depends though. When I went the DIY route, I found that most fruits only took a week to steep and after more than a month the flavor diminished. Not true for tobaccos as most of those take sometimes up to a month or more to develop. That held true with some of the best flavorings out there. I can vape Smooth Criminal FOOB, but prefer it with a two week steep. Some of the fruits are even better to me FOOB than with a steep. It's all subjective.
