vaping Vanilla Wild Wood today, and enjoying it immensely. Caramel WW has been my absolute favorite from Day 1, so I was eager to try VWW, but when it arrived about, idk, 5-6 weeks ago, I tapped right into it and was somewhat disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it did not live up to it's orgasmic sister. But I take it back now. I've changed my tune. After a good steep, and in the Aurora/HH.357 combo, it sings, and it's an extremely close second to the Caramel counterpart.

On another note, I'm now totally mystified by the concept of vape wattage. Up to this point, I've found that no matter what hardware I use, most of my juices seem to vape best at around 3.7v on a 2-2.5ohm coil, or roughly 8ish watts. Then I got the HH.357 @ 2.5ohms. In the how-to video, the maker lists recommended voltages for the different impedances -- wait, make that resistances, mixing metaphors and thinking about audio gear now. He recommends a *minimum* of I think 4.2v for this atty. This shocked me, because at 3.6-3.7v, it was getting uncomfortably hot to the touch. But I tried it, and after a few miinutes and making some adjustments in *how* I vape, how long the button stays down, etc, it stopped getting so hot. Now I'm just confused. But the flavor and vapor improved immensely (and somehow a drop goes a longer way which is even more puzzling), so I'm sticking with it.

On yet another note, we had some crazy thunder boomers come through yesterday, and a discomforting thought crossed my mind for the first time. In the last few years, we've had some pretty insane storms blow through that have resulted in long term, widespread power outages. That meant no showers, no toilets, no fridge, no phone (once the batt dies), and no PC. Major inconvenience, but deal-able. Now it occurs to me that this also means NO VAPE. Yipe! I guess it's a good thing I have the MVP2. I can make that sucker last 5-6 days if I have to.

Vaping Bananas Foster since last night. This is seriously delicious - possibly my favorite dessert vape. Nice banana with caramelized sugar and a hint of rum. Not at all boozy. Really nice!

How long did you let it steep? I just got mine in Monday and did a test drip last night, and while the banana was good and true to taste, no candy flavor, the other flavors aren't developed yet. I can tell it's going to be really good though!

hrm.. I got mine on Monday, too! I wouldn't call it candy, and all of the flavors are sort of subtle, blended together. The banana isn't very strong, and maybe more like fresh, and not extra ripe. It's true that there are mainly hints, but it's so good to me already. Maybe I just like the nuances. Not sure what happens over time with this one.

Yes, that's what I taste...like a fresh banana. It's definitely a very good banana taste. Think I'll let it steep a couple weeks and see how it develops. I can tell it's going to be a good one though!

All this talk about Bananas Foster and Tarte Tatins makes me long for those 2 bottles steeping. Both already show such great promise from my initial drip taste, but both need time to develop and blend. I also got the real, fresh banana out of the Bananas Foster. My first A+ banana, and I have Tarte Tatin Apple, my first apple, steeping.

Look at you on the dripping train. So happy for you. :) I really do enjoy dripping and Ahlusion's juices taste the way they are meant to using them.

Oh, and my Caramel Wild Wood (a mere newborn at 2 weeks, LOL), is EVERYTHING today. :p I'm pretty sure I vaped myself into a caramel coma during my commute. The inaugural bottle I had, if you all recalled, was a sweet, sticky, rich, not-quite-mess, for me. This bottle here?? Amazing!

I was loving Bananas Foster out the box because of those nuances. Nothing was screaming or overshouting the other flavors. And the banana was so good; I even wrote in my feedback that I felt like I needed to vape it up quickly out of fear that the banana would over-ripen, LOL.

I tried it again a few weeks later, and was getting only banana. A good banana, but just banana. I suspect it is my build on my favorite dripper. It's optimized for my tobacco vapes.

Funny thing is, I am now believing that a lot of the juices I've gotten haven't needed a steep. I kinda go by a smell and color system. If it smells right, in this case, Bananas Foster, and the color of the juice is tan/dark, I'm going for it!

eep! I don't want it to lose those nuances! I'll either have to vape it fast or toss it in the ice box or something ;) It's in my Kraken with the usual 0.6Ω cotton micro. Regulating heat by very short draws. I should add that while the individual flavors are nuanced, the overall vape is VERY flavorful, even strong-ish on a bigger draw. It's 18mg, if that has any bearing.

Hmm...it could be a time or freshness thing. I hope not. I'm not far from you, with a 0.9Ω micro coil with the same wicking as you. It's about 6 weeks old and in 12mg (yeah, I got down to 12, LOL). I agree it was/is really flavorful. I'll try it in something else tonight and edit this post with my thoughts.
