Finally got around to sample Ahlusion's Mocha and was left a bit disappointed by it. :( Perhaps more steeping will help, but right now the chocolate component tastes to me like a Tootsie Roll or Charleston Chew. If you're a fan of that type of candy, then I would strongly suggest you try this. In my case, it's clearly not for me. I guess I'll have to stick to Just Criminal for now to get my chocolate fix.

Charleston Chew sounds good to me. I might just have to try that at some point. Picked up Blueberry Vanilla Cake, Cocoberry Cream, and Rick's Request all of which have been winners for me. Fijian Nights was good but I really prefer Cocoberry as far as coconut vapes go. Got another feedback coupon eating a hole in my pocket. I may pick up a 30 of Orange Creamsicle and try Tell-a-Nut to compare against TVK Toasted Hazelnut which has been a big hit around here.

Has anyone tried Orange Nocturne? I was looking for something like a Chocolate Orange. Thought of just mixing an orange liquid with a chocolate one but was told about this one from Ahlusion. Also noticed that I can add sweetener to almost everything that I am interested in on their website. Is the sweetener recommended? I l am a sugarholic and am not sure if this will ruin the liquid.

It's a nice sipper vape. Tastes rather like Terry's Dark Chocolate Orange Ball. I found it plenty sweet without sweetener, but I'm not a sugarholic. Seldom have sweets, actually.

I must have missed you asking about it. My review is: I love it, it's awesome. I'd love to drink it irl..right now even. =)

I got an answer on Banana Breeze direct from "The King" aka Wlad about the cooling effect and is it Mint or? My summary of the email:

- The "Breeze" is not the same as our menthol options Breeze, Flurries etc. It's just a "name"

- The cooling component is derived from Mint but it's still not "Mint" as we normally use it.

- The "King" and only the king can edit your profile to not include it in the mix if you so desire.

/end of email summary from the Mother ship

My guess is that if the cooling component is removed from the mix the intensity/boldness of the other tones increases which is how I'm going to order a 60.

HTH

:)

I'm trying it now - and I'm not sure that I care for it. Dare I say it has a chemical taste to me? And it's been aging for 6 to 8 weeks now. And was actually coming to post about it, because it's the first Ahl juice I've tried where I tasted "chemically"

The Vecchio was way too much vanilla for me and came across as perfumy. Even after months of steeping.

Wow I'm surprised to read this. To me, V is one if the most natural, organic, earthy tasting juices I've ever tried.. the antithesis of chemical, perfume. One of the things I love about ahlusion is that they do many of their own extractions. This particular vanilla, to me, tastes homemade, from base ingredients. I get notes of pod/bark, powder, dirt, smoke, ash... It's very different than the dessert/dairy vanilla we are used to tasting, but that's what I love about it. I can easily see how this wouldn't be for everyone though. For a more universally accepted vanilla tobacco, try vanilla wildwood.

That's it -- Vecchio Blend is going in my next order. I have such distinct memories of that juice, but that was well over a year ago. I didn't dislike it, but I was really wanting more of the tobacco to hit me. Ash/bark notes? Interesting.

Everyone is so drastically different in regards to their taste/smell. I have to read between the lines with interpretation to someone else's reviews!!!

Well... Good luck, lol. Mine is profiled for strong tobacco, but the vanilla is still the star of the show. I know you struggle with vanilla..

I have a better idea. PM incoming.

Ha, I actually enjoyed the little bit of Vanilla Wild Wood I had. I'm not sure it's vanilla that I have issues with. I think I don't like extra rich or overpowering flavors in a vape. Or maybe I really dig balance in a vape.

I must add a disclaimer that there is no Wild Wood I wouldn't vape. Ok, there is one -- Apple Wild Wood. That's no fault of the juice, though. I just can't get with it, but I seem to be like that in regards to apple vapes.

I didn't like AWW until it had steeped a very long time, but then it had mellowed. I personally like the apple in 5P Gambit better, but it's really just a completely different approach.

Vanilla - Count Me In !!!

I am looking forward to trying the Vecchio Blend again so thanks for the reminder.

Sadly, I had to give up my Vanilla Black Tea. For some reason, when I reduced Nic level it was not grabbing me the way it used too.

I still have the Vanilla Wild Wood but it would be nice if it had a Vanilla companion.

So, Pina Colada. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and it's kind of terrible. The pineapple and coconut are starting to come together nicely, but I ordered it sweetened (first time ordering any A+ juice sweetened) and it's absolutely the LEAST sweet juice I've ever had. I have both the Pineapple Cream and the Coconut Dream (both ordered unsweetened), and they are both good. They are especially good together. I had sort-of figured the Pina Colada would be a lot like the mix of the two, only with a little extra sweet, because I asked for that.

Can anyone with experience with the Pina Colada, either sweetened or unsweetened, chime in here? Is that just how it is, or is there a problem with my bottle?

(For the record, I have dozens upon dozens of A+ liquids and none of them have ever had a problem. I've ordered a few I don't particularly care for, but almost all I like or even love.)

I get mine sweetened and it isn't very sweet. That's how it is. I'm sure this is one that Wlad sweetens by adjusting the ingredients instead of adding sweetener which I prefer over having artificial sweetener. To me it's great. I would reply to your feedback email with these comments and let Wlad know so he can adjust it.

I get Pineapple Cream sweetened and while it's my absolute favorite after a couple of tanks the sweetness gets to be too much and I need a break. That's when I switch to Piña Colada. I still get to enjoy my pineapple and coconut but it has an extra creaminess without the sugary sweetness that I get from over vaping Pineapple Cream.

Pina Colada never came around for me, either. Mine had a weird taste to it that was not good and didn't go away. Mine was not sweetened. I ended up giving it away.

I wondered if I just don't like pineapple vapes even though I love pineapple.
It wasn't sweet. I thought it tasted chemically. I haven't tried Pineapple Cream or Coconut Dream but I did try Pineapple UDC and didn't care for that one either.

Pineapple UDC is the only pineapple that I don't keep in stock. Try Pineapple Cream sweetened! FOOB, no steeping. That's when the pineapple is at it's best and as it steeps the cream comes out. Another pineapple that is really good is Cactus Juice. No sweetener needed. It is pineapple and orange and so good!

Tarte Tartin Apple, Pear or Peach?

Lemon, Lime or Raspberry Cream?

I know what I need to know about tobacco, now I want me some dessert. I've had Lemon Cream a long time ago and it was PHENOMENAL, but that's all I remember about it.

I haven't tried the Tarte Tartins yet but it's Lemon Cream FOOB for me. It's just a neck behind Pineapple Cream. I've tried all the others and keep going back to lemon. When I want lime I reach for Strawberry Snap. I like my lime without cream.

And if you haven't tried it the enablers on here are pushing Bananas Foster. It is amazing! I vaped every drop of the sample and I'm craving more so it's reached reorder status.

WARNING: Enabler Alert!!

Mimosa Pear and Mimosa Grape are both fantastic! Semi-sec champagne with fresh pear pulp, or champagne grapes added!

Just got in on the sale, and restocked my LFR along with getting a 30 of Mimosa Grape.

I opened up my Mimosa Blackberry last night. It is so good! So that makes Mimosa Pomegranate and Blackberry on my list. :)
Haven't tried any pear vapes yet. I need to try one!

Yes! It tastes exactly like the Chocolate Orange and you do want to add sweetener. If it was anything but chocolate I would say no sweetener. Every flavor tastes exactly the way it should and you really should try them without "extra" sweetener. Some flavors can be ruined by adding it.

I've found that adding extra sweetener to chocolates brightens the chocolate and brings the flavor out. Some chocolates will have a bitter taste without adding it. So I add sweetener to all chocolates. I also add it to all of my coffees since I like my coffee sweet.

Never add sweetener to a black tea before trying it. I find that it covers up the other layers in the tea. I made the mistake of ordering Vanilla Black Tea with sweetener and it was terrible! And I love all of the black teas. They are amazing. Don't add sweetener to any of the cream flavors (except Pineapple Cream) without trying them first. Especially lemon, lime, or raspberry. I do get CocoBerry Cream sweetened. I found that I like it better that way.

I'm a sugarholic, too. I used to order from a place where I could get double shots of sweetener before I found Ahlusion so I like my juice sweet. Ahlusion more than satisfies my sweet tooth. It cured it! I get to vape everything I would like to eat. I made the mistake of ordering Raspberry Cream with sweetener and it was so sweet "I" couldn't stand it! Lol. I reordered it without and let it steep for 4 weeks and it's a wonderful raspberry cream.

Once you get a feel for the Ahlusion flavorings (they make most of their own) and try some of the flavors you'll be able to figure out which flavors you'll want with extra sweetener and which flavors would be better off without it. Plus there is always every one here to ask. :)
