Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3

Heyo! I just got my 2nd Ahlusion order in the mail this week and I'm working through it. My big question is about Contrary Cherry... is this a more subtle flavor than I was expecting, or am I in denial about having vaper's tongue? And no, I am not knocking the juice in any way, I am vaping a 2nd flavor right now--Strawberry Vanilla Cake--and it is SO good! I like it even more than a certain popular bunny-flavored juice.

Here's what I got, in the order I plan to try it:

Contrary Cherry
Strawberry Vanilla Cake
Grape Vine
Apple Berry Splash
Blueberry Vanilla Cake (this is the only Ahlusion juice I tried previously)

Unfortunately the Midnight juices were out of stock but I may order it fresh.

P.S. These are Xpress juices, so I know the problem with the Cherry isn't that it needs to steep.

I looooove StrawVanCake! An amazing desert vape on the Ahl menu. I haven't had Contrary Cherry, but like others have mentioned I've also heard it's a very subtle vape.

...My personal favorites of what I have are the IGO-S, Atomic, ERA, and Cyclone. The original Octopus (Smok RDA) is one of the many duds I bought earlier that have found it's way to the trash. The mini-Octopus (Smok Mini RDA) though is a solid, simple little ERA clone with a side air-hole that works well. You'll probably get better, more up-to-date advice in the rebuildable section than from me though.

I like the little Smoktech UDA Atomizer. It has adjustable air flow and needs no tools for building. The tiny chamber produces good flavor. There is no room for dual coils and those wanting a big cloud machine should look elsewhere.

Delivered today: Pineapple Cream. Really good, real pineapple taste. I don't sense any creamy.
Lemon Ginger Iced Tea: Also very good! I taste all three flavors and the spice adds such a nice touch to the standard. This is going to share space with my favorite mint as a palate-cleanser.
Sublime: I love it! Persian Lime with cranberries!!!! When I started vaping I ordered a lot of Mt Baker and their tartest lemonades were my favorites. This, my friends, is the perfection of a tart, tangy, puckery, refreshing juice. I think I will have to use it sparingly because of how rich a flavor it is. Yum. Total win day.

Camrade Mann suggested that you go to Vaporcraft Electronic Cigarettes, Store, Shop lead, dealer, personal vaporizers, e-liquids, accessories, vapor Cigarettes Birmingham, Clawson, Troy, Madison Heights Royal Oak, Zombie Provari After you get their you are going to "graduate" from the world of mutted taste as in your clearos to the next level of flavor chasing which involves either a RDA aka dripper which you currently have as in the Octapus thingy or an RBA/RTA. Your going to hopefully establish a relationship and source of hands on knowledge which you can rely on when issues arrive. Six months down the road you might even know more than they do but you gotta start someplace.

For your FIRST real delivery device I suggest you start with a dripper which have a variety of features and price points. What you want regardless of the brand is something that is inexpensive, reasonable quality, air hole or holes on the top cap, easy peasy to build, and the B&M sells and supports same. After all, why spend $50 or $100 for a dripper only to discover that YOU don't like the drip drip experience. Some do and some don't.

A great example of what I'm blabbering about is the Igo-w dripper. Widely available and in the $11-$15 range. Vendor example at http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/igow.htm This was my first dripper and I'm glad I started this way and still use it today to test juices. Sure, I have a gaggle of other delivry devices which span the RDA or RBA universe BUT we are talking about your FIRST REAL device which drives my recommendation.

Yeah, Vaporcraft will have the Igo-W all the way up to Cartel Mods, Zen, Doc Dave and almost whatever else you may want (no Glas, Sat 22s though. LOL). The Igo-W is a great start (price point) since they don't sell counterfeit gear. I should get over there again since I need to support them over online vendors whenever possible.

I have that one. I will admit, embarrassingly, that I owned it for months before realizing the airflow was adjustable lol.

It's a good device. I've found I prefer having just one airhole though instead of several small ones spread out, so I don't use it much.

I had ordered some Honey Cured a couple months ago and when I tried it at that time, it was "weird"!! I put it away but decided to drip some tonite and it is really growing on me!! It has a real "grassy" taste but is such a nice change from the "flavorful" vapes!! Anyone else Vape honey cured as I haven't seen many talk about it?!?

I know you like JG Blend -- well, the "coffee" part of JGB is available as "Kent's Blend." I like it a lot, but for me it is too sweet (LFR is my very favorite coffee!)

You should really try Kent's Blend!

Anybody tried peach Ww? I love all the wild woods so far but cherry, I like the peach as a fruit so I'm thinking hmmm might be worth a try....anyone love it?

Peach WW is very good. As someone already mentioned, the fruit is more of a dried/candied peach, not a fresh peach.

I need to try Kent's Blend still. I like the coffee used in JG Blend more than the non-tobacco coffees. JG Blend is a huge win in my book. Before Kent's Blend was released, I talked to Kent about their coffees since he's a very experienced coffee vaper. His favorite was the coffee part of JG Blend (which is how Kent's Blend came to be, JG Blend minus the tobacco), and also the Boba Tea Coffee, which looked to be removed from the menu last time I checked.

8-o No more Boba Tea Coffee? I love that juice! There are only three Boba Teas listed right now on the menu; I hope that's just because of some ingredient availability and not because of a permanent culling of the herd!!

I just received my order with the new House Blend and Cherry House Blend. I was a big fan before so I was worried. Turns out the worry was all for nothing as they are much improved.

Some Ahl juices I've had recently that I've reported on in the NET thread but not here..

I received three aros in a trade with Rabernet: Sweet Georgia Peach, Smokin' Cherries, and Cocoa Blend. Those who know me are aware I luuuuuurrrrve SGP. She owned me since the orgasmic first vape. Haven't had her in a while, and was happy to see she's just as lovely as ever.

SC I've had before too, not as great as SGP for me but still pretty amazing and a part of my Trifecta of Amazing Cherry Baccos. Well, this bottle tastes nothing like I remember. Completely different flavor; no idea if it was a bad batch or a different recipe. Either way, the flavor when I tried this bottle is just downright bad to me. I'll give it time to see if my mind changes, but that seems doubtful.

And finally, Cocoa Blend, which is completely new to me. I was timid after the Cherry incident, but I had nothing to fear; CB is another wonderful aro.

Also, I have Just Criminal that someone gave to me. It's good, very good, but just like with Peachy Criminal, as nice as it is I would just rather vape Smooth Criminal. Smooth Criminal is kind of a perfect tobacco vape for me, and though I like the idea of flavored Criminals, even with perfect execution like Ahl does, it ends up taking away instead of adding something for me.

It wasn't an ADV or even a OAWV (once a week vape, LOL), but it was quite the treat when in the mood.

Lol, yep. Being on the wagon for a couple years is part of the reason, but just not really drawn to the flavor is another. I drank like a fish, hard liquor, but certainly not for the taste! Wasn't a top shelf alky lol. I do like some rum tobacco vapes, such as Pirate's Drunken Sweet Tooth which I love, but the rum flavor doesn't taste like the drink. Knowing Wlad's style, I'm sure the rum in CB is authentic.

Dude. It seriously tastes like a long night out (back when we smoked and drank rum!). There re no sweeteners or cute flavors in there though. Devil Dog! is much easier for me to vape that C. Blend.
