I love Jim Dandy by Ragtime and am on my 3rd bottle

You know, I was actually thinking of writing that as I was typing the post. Ha!

I'm crazy about three of the four Ragtime Vapor juices. I'm not high on Jubilee, mostly because I haven't been enjoying fruits this year. The other three, I'm quite fond of and I think you'll enjoy. I'd be really curious to hear your take on Honky Tonk. It was inspired by Boba's Bounty and I think it outshines that juice.

So glad to hear your pain level is down. Life is very hard with back pain.
Hello! I've been trying to catch up on the thread and ended up reading a few pages. I was so far behind it would've taken a week to read all the posts. Lol.

I see that Lemon Vanilla Cake is available. Now that is magic! I placed a large order today and got a 30ml bottle since I've been addicted to Lemon Cream I'm sure I'll like it. I was going to order last night but there was no coupon so I waited and today there was a 20% off. Stacked my 15 and saved $80! I have all these flavors here and lately I've only been vaping 6 of them and had to restock. I got 2 60s of Mango Lassi, Chai Latte, and Lemon Cream. 1 60 of Pineapple Cream and Piña Colada. 1 30 of Lemon Vanilla Cake. Express samples of American Blend #3, Cool Blend, and Wipeout Watermelon for my son. Asked for a free sample of Caramel House Blend or Strawberry Shortcake. Whew...it was a big order. Ahlusion Cherry Cola is missing. I sure hope it comes back. It's one I've been vaping and I'm almost out. I can't drink soda so I really enjoy vaping it.

Then I looked at the forum again and I forgot to order Apple Tarte Tatin and Neutral! At this rate I'll never try the Tarte Tatin.

My spinal stimulator implant trial was a success! That thing is amazing. I'm used to waking up with a pain level of 8 or 9 and I sleep with a lidocaine patch on my back and each hip. With the stimulator I used no patches and woke up with a pain level of 1 or 2. It was so nice to wake up feeling good. It's been terrible living without it! I should be having the surgery for the permanent implant on September 16. I can't wait!! Not looking forward to the 6 weeks of recovery wearing a back brace. You can't bend, stretch, or lift anything until everything has built up scar tissue to hold it in place. But it will be worth it.

And we just signed an offer on our old house! Just have to get through the appraisal and inspections. Closing date is October 17. It will be really nice to not have 2 mortgages to pay. I put off ordering juice for so long I've run out of Mango Lassi! I keep it in my Aerotank Mega clone. I love it! It puts out tons of vapor and the taste is awesome. I need to get another one. I do have an EVOD glass that uses the same dual coils and it's great, too.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their favorite Ahlusion flavors. :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm more impressed with e-liquids that need a steep time, and get better with age. It's one of the reasons I like A+ so much. Meda_Dro, if you are unhappy with the flavor you'll find many will quickly jump on the chance to make a trade with you in the PIF forum for it.

I finally got my delivery today. I had a tank ready for Sahara. When I went to fill the dropper I was amazed at how clear it was compared to the bottle I got from Mr. Mann a while back. I reluctantly put it back in the bottle and in storage. I hate the thought of vaping it too early and wasting precious drops. And while I am on the topic of steeping, Shipwreck has become one of those "goose bumps on the arm" liquids for me. It's really come together nicely, the tartness and the tobacco have almost melded as one. This might be my favorite.

Caribbean Blend-- Whoa Nelly! That's just from sniffing the bottle. I might pull out a fresh BVC coil for this one... after any advice I how long I should steep it for.

I want to give Mr. Mann and Eleanor a shout out thank you for turning me on to A+ liquids, I'm really having a special moment right now.

And Bukket, I am glad you are getting your pain dealt with more effectively now. I hope for continued improvement.

Wow, I missed the email yesterday and my order shipped same day I placed it. I will have it mon or tues. I took the easy route for the first order and picked from the xpress line though. I know custom orders take longer.

I agree with the disco about steeping. It can be frustrating. Even moreso with DIY stuff when trying to perfect or change a recipe. Most of my tobaccos take a minimum of 2 weeks. One in particular takes over a month and there is no shortcut for that recipe.

I have learned a few tricks though that apply to man juices. One thing is "seed steeping" where you just add to an existing steeped bottle. Works really well. As little as 1/4 old and 3/4 new cuts a bunch of time out of the process.

Another easy one is putting the bottles in a ziplock and putting them in hot tap water. Do it for a couple hours with frequent shaking and it can speed up the process a good bit for some juices but not all of course. Some DIY folks use crockpots and do it that way. I'm too lazy for that. Hot tap water seems to work well enough.

Awesome, thanks for the info bro, glad they've held up! I'm pretty excited about trying all three. Never had a gourmet apple pie vape. The custard will be my second look into a custard vape. The one I had from Nicoticket I found well made and very vapable, just didn't grab me much. Want to try another to see if custard can work for me as I've seen it for others, and Ragtime's sounds very promising. Honkey Tonk is the big one I'm wanting to try though. I love Boba's Bounty so dig trying juices inspired by it (there's no bounty on that one!).

Tetra's Spike Spiegel was described as a Boba's vape on the site. Not only was it nothing like Boba's, overall it was a pretty terrible vape.

I have to say consistency out of my mailbox is top 2 on my list of reasons I enjoy A+ like I do. How the juice transforms is then up to me(how I store and choose to steep based on my taste). I also appreciate when there is a change, Wlad will openly discuss the changes. Juice based on customer feedback...fantastic concept :).
On the other hand, consistency from others such as MOV is top 2 on my list of reasons I will stop ordering from.

I tend to like my A+ fresh. I hate the glass bottles, so I transfer my 60's into 2 30ml plastic bottles. One goes in the cabinet, the other in the frig. I had an overstock recently, and let my Lime Cream age a bit. I don't care for it aged (months), I get a bit of a dirt taste.

I tried TTPear right out of the mail, and didn't love it. But a week later, it's pretty awesome. Short steeps- a week or so- I can live with. But I'm not waiting 6-8 weeks for a juice to be good. :)

Bukket, great news!

My two cents on the issue of consistency, accuracy and steeping time re Ahl juices :

1- Off the top of my head, the only flavor i have found inaccurate out of twenty or so i have tried, has been Tiramisu. So that's a pretty good ratio, according to my taste perception anyway. I haven't liked all of them, but i do believe if i were given a blind taste test i could figure out what flavor they were going for. Smooth Criminal is an exception, but more on that in a different post. Mind you, I haven't tried any of the Boba Teas, and have drank Boba Teas at most two or three time in my life, and was left underwhelmed on every occasion. So i can't comment on the accuracy of the Boba's.

2- Medadro uses the word inconsistent, when everything he writes indicates he means a juice that morphs over time. How can anyone comment on consistency when they have tried one juice, once, is beyond me. I am not qualified to comment on that topic either since at most, i have tried each juice from two separate orders. I detected no difference in taste, at the equivalent time after birth, in those occasions.

3- Steeping time requirement is the toughie for me when trying to rate Ahlusion. I understand both points of view. On the one hand, i get it when i read that different people enjoy the same juice, at different points in the aging process. On the other hand, i appreciate the few vendors whose juice is pre-steeped and i know that i will enjoy the juice as soon as i open the bottle. That's not to say that the juice will not change in flavor profile, but we are talking about amount of change, here.

Overall, i rate Ahlusion very highly on the list of vendors i buy from. They are the only vendor that has at least one juice that is among my top five in tobaccos, coffees and teas. Desserts and especially fruits aren't really my thing, so i am not qualified to comment. My mistake was that i ordered mostly from those categories in my first Ahlusion order, with the warped reasoning that i already have juices i enjoy from my favorite categories, so let's find others from my least favorite categories. Not that i thought they were bad, but i wasn't blown away the way i expected based on the posts in this thread. I am glad i put in a second order, mostly from the categories i knew i enjoy. I have found some flavors that have genuinely enriched my vaping life, and by extension, to a smaller degree, my life in general.

I am at times a little frustrated at how long certain flavors take to get to the point that i enjoy them most, but more often than not, they get there. I have ameliorated this by planning in advance, and to the extent that my favorites are in the xPress line, ordering from there.

I've tried juices many different juices from many different vendors since I began vaping in 2008. Fresh out the mailbox, the flavor tasted bland to me with no hints sweetness. Posters reply: "Let it steep! The flavor will change! It will get better!"

Second day, it tastes a little better, but still bland.

I've never understood why people like the fact that their flavors change over time. When you cook, Apple Pie for example, it shouldn't taste like Milk the first day, and then Honey Cherries the next day.

If ejuice does this, then it IS certainly inconsistent over time.

:shock::blink::blink::shock::blink:
I am a bad man.

I was just in the room shaking my juices, and the wifey comes in and asks,"Isn't Daddy going to order some juices this week?". LOL

That's all it took, like the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. I quickly capped my bottles and hurried over to the puter. While I was a little disappointed to see the Aromatic category completely gone, I still placed an order. 30mls of Neutral, 30mls of JG blend, 10mls of SVC--my first venture ever into a dessert vape...

I need help, I gots it bad.

You are in the right place my friend!!
Maybe we should post pics of our A+ juices to see who needs an intervention the most!

My comments on the steeping AHL needs to be GREAT.
I guess I thought it was a PITA at first when I was trying so many things and different vendors and such. You want to try it as soon as you get it.
Once you know AHL delivers a home run 99% of the time you just plan ahead. I know what I order today will not be vaped by me for at least 3-4 weeks so I can get its full deliciousness. I already know that and have planned for it so it is not a nuisance anymore.
If you want something you can vape right away you are limited to the mass marketed juices that are already steeping on a shelf somewhere

I just received an order of Boba Tea from Ahlusion. It was pretty disappointing thus far. Fresh out the mail, the flavor was extremely bland, with an after-taste that tasted slightly like real boba tea, but it was like something had gone wrong, like the milk in the boba had spoiled or something.

If I had one word to describe the flavor, it would be bland. This is after I ordered it sweetened too!

Sadly, I doubt steeping would fix this flavor, but I"ll give it a try. Still, this might be my first and last order with them.

That's odd....I thought it was pretty sweet FOOB, and I didn't add sweetener!

But, you do know that if your juice needs to be steeped by YOU, then it means that they did not quality check your batch. They did not try vaping it themselves before sending it out.

QC should not be an issue, given what we are paying for it.

Hello! I've been trying to catch up on the thread and ended up reading a few pages. I was going to order last night but there was no coupon so I waited and today there was a 20% off. Stacked my 15......

Bukket5, we have missed the Mother of Multi-Quotes so this is especially nice to hear how you are doing.

Especially nice also was your Sale alert so Thank You for this. With my stacked 15 for 32 % off I pulled the trigger on the following;

Vanilla Wild Wood: I placed an Order for the largest quantity of any singular flavor ever from Ahlusion today. Since I am now mixing 6 & 0 MG for my 3 MG Nic level I discovered the VWW works perfectly for me, and it is my favorite WW along side the Maple.

Unfortunately, I am not having the same success mixing the 6 & 0 MG with Caramel Wild Wood after two small mixes. I also tried the Caramel House Blend mixed and it caused me to wonder if I am not enjoying the Caramel as I reduce the Nic level. This is puzzling since I get a scratchy flemy throat with the Caramel. I switch to the Vanilla and the thick throat goes away. I will try one 6 MG CWW to see if I get the same throat feeling before asking Ahlusion what I am doing wrong.

Smooth Criminal: I am anxious to try the tweaked mix.

Strawberry Shortcake - Free Sample: Of course Mr. Mann made me do it.

I've had juices that claim to be pre-steeped, and they continue to morph too; no e-liquid is frozen in time. It's the nature of the mixing media, nic and oxygen, and the blending and binding of different flavor elements. Whether one likes it from day one, prefers it after a week or two, or really wants it fully ripened, is a preference. I like some liquids fresh, like sasparilla and the aromatics. Some I like new and old, like Sahara. But most of my favorites -- Smooth C, JG Blend, the vanilla cakes, and the strawberry flavors and teas -- I like best after at least six weeks.

I've never said that's going to be right for everyone. But if someone buys a bottle of, say, Smooth Criminal, and it tastes like goopy clumps of nutmeg in a cup of sugar-infused butter cream, and he doesn't like that, why is it difficult to set it aside for 45 days and see if it really changes, like many, many longtime users have said a million times that it will? Conversely, if you love it fresh and hate the inevitable transformation, vape it quickly.

I've asked Wlad about this, and he's loathe to commit. He says he likes his juices both ways, fresh and aged. And I believe he does. But I'm not quite sure he experiences flavor the same way I do, and he certainly didn't smoke for as long as I did. I don't doubt that he -- and many other younger vapers -- have less damaged taste buds than I do. But I know without a doubt that I don't detect any cake in Blueberry Vanilla Cake for a month or more, and I DON'T CARE; it's worth the wait.

With the custom liquids, there is no batch. Each bottle is mixed with computerized equipment to a precise recipe. With XPress liquids, the batches are mixed the same way. How could they check hundreds of custom juices every day?

Are you saying you want the lab techs to vape your juice before they bottle it? Because I most definitely do not want that. Yuck.

My question is how can any vendor taste test the eliquid they are selling before sending it off, especially if said vendor does custom mixes per customer? Besides, who is to say what the vendor thinks tastes great is the same as what I will think tastes great? I personally like the flavors I order right out of the box....and a week later....and a month later. ;)

If someone doesn't like Ahlusion's eliquid, so be it. I would suggest they go find another vendor with eliquid they like. That is why there are so, so many eliquid vendors out there.
