As I said, unless you are buying the mass marketed ejuice and any time you are buying made to order there is a certain amount of time necessary for all flavors to marry together. I have 100% faith in my vendor following exactly the same recipe each time and that given the right amount of time the juice will turn into something I have come to trust and love. I find no inconsistancy with AHL
But, you do know that if your juice needs to be steeped by YOU, then it means that they did not quality check your batch. They did not try vaping it themselves before sending it out.

QC should not be an issue, given what we are paying for it.

Bukket5, we have missed the Mother of Multi-Quotes so this is especially nice to hear how you are doing.

Especially nice also was your Sale alert so Thank You for this. With my stacked 15 for 32 % off I pulled the trigger on the following;

Vanilla Wild Wood: I placed an Order for the largest quantity of any singular flavor ever from Ahlusion today. Since I am now mixing 6 & 0 MG for my 3 MG Nic level I discovered the VWW works perfectly for me, and it is my favorite WW along side the Maple.

I must have missed that sale by mere minutes. When I placed my order there was no discount other than my coupon code... (slaps self on forehead)

I've tried juices many different juices from many different vendors since I began vaping in 2008. Fresh out the mailbox, the flavor tasted bland to me with no hints sweetness. Posters reply: "Let it steep! The flavor will change! It will get better!"

Second day, it tastes a little better, but still bland.

I've never understood why people like the fact that their flavors change over time. When you cook, Apple Pie for example, it shouldn't taste like Milk the first day, and then Honey Cherries the next day.

If ejuice does this, then it IS certainly inconsistent over time.

what you call " inconsistent over time ", most people in the vaping world call " not pre-steeped ". I haven't been vaping since 2008 like you, but over the last eighteen months or so that i have ( i don't count the time i was vaping cigalikes ), i have tried over 150 flavors from different vendors, and learned relatively early that there are vendors who make their juices in large batches, pre-steep them, test them, and then bottle them if satisfied. There are others that custom-make the juice according to the customers specific requirements. I have learned that those particular juices need to steep at my house. Some take less time, some longer. Some vendors do both.

I think it is disingenuous to call the juices that fall in the latter category " not quality checked ", and i think you would know that, if you have been vaping since 2008. I don't really have a dog in this fight, and i enjoy juices from both categories. In a perfect world, every juice would be at its best as soon as mixed, but as you are aware, this industry is in its infancy and the mixing technology is what it is at the present time. Juices need to be steeped ( aged is a better word ). I am not a chemist and don't really understand the chemical interactions taking place, but if juices are custom-made to the vapers specific requirements, the steeping takes place at our house. Simple, really. It could be frustrating, especially in the case of juices that take a long time to steep, and i have expressed frustration in this regard myself, with at least two or three different Ahlusion juices. But we all have choices to make, and could chose to order exclusively from vendors that pre-steep their juices.

It's one thing to call a juice bland, your taste buds are your taste buds. It's another to start debating the merits of a custom-made juice based on the fact that it morphs over time ( and implicitly the merits of the vendor ), with the posters that are trying to help you perhaps enjoy it at a later time.

You could wait and try the juice later and see if you like it then. Maybe you will, maybe you won't. Or you can dump it and never order from Ahlusion again. But to call a juice or a vendor sub-quality, based on the fact that the juice tasted different on day two, than it did on day one, seems to me that you are just trying to make a point, whatever that is.

Just my read into this, i could be wrong.

My first order of Smooth Criminal I ordered 10 ml at 30/70 vg/pg. Was in my first Ahlusion order. I tasted right away-what's with all the love? I don't get it. Thought it was maybe too much vg so I ordered another 10ml in 70/30 to mix the two for 50/50 result (can't do higher pg). Mixed the 2 bottles and tasted. First bottle was now about 2 weeks old. It was better but still didn't get the love. Read this thread and about steeping Ahl juices. Humm... left it for about a month -easy cuz I had many other juices to vape up. At about 1+ month of the mix (6 weks for original bottle) I tried it again. I am getting it! Left it for about another 2 weeks and the love is there! Now also along this time frame I learned to rebuild coils and wick with cotton. All in all, I love my criminals with some age on them ;) and a good coil and wick. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I like to try my Ahl flavors fresh but then put them away for about 2 weeks before I get serious.

I do some DIY and it takes time for freshly made flavors to meld and.develop together.

Clearly Ahlusion is not a vendor for you, and you probably should stick with vendors you know you'll love.

All over the place
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm more impressed with e-liquids that need a steep time, and get better with age. It's one of the reasons I like A+ so much. Meda_Dro, if you are unhappy with the flavor you'll find many will quickly jump on the chance to make a trade with you in the PIF forum for it.

I finally got my delivery today. I had a tank ready for Sahara. When I went to fill the dropper I was amazed at how clear it was compared to the bottle I got from Mr. Mann a while back. I reluctantly put it back in the bottle and in storage. I hate the thought of vaping it too early and wasting precious drops. And while I am on the topic of steeping, Shipwreck has become one of those "goose bumps on the arm" liquids for me. It's really come together nicely, the tartness and the tobacco have almost melded as one. This might be my favorite.

Caribbean Blend-- Whoa Nelly! That's just from sniffing the bottle. I might pull out a fresh BVC coil for this one... after any advice I how long I should steep it for.

I want to give Mr. Mann and Eleanor a shout out thank you for turning me on to A+ liquids, I'm really having a special moment right now.

And Bukket, I am glad you are getting your pain dealt with more effectively now. I hope for continued improvement.

I just bought another bottle of Caribbean Blend too -- but no steep for this one! That whoa Nelly is how it is.

So I received my order yesterday of pineapple cream, neutral, and smooth criminal. Neutral is awesome....will definitely be reordering. But what I'm most impressed with is smooth criminal. Keep in mind that I have never enjoyed tobacco flavored juice....until now. I have never tasted any tobacco flavor like this. I get a slight sweet and chocolate flavor on the inhale and a tasty tobacco finisher on the exhale. Also this is FOB too. Anyways just wanted to say that Ahlusion has once again blown my mind. Never thought I would enjoy a tobacco flavor.
