Wow this is pretty crazy. I've been checking my credit card statement pretty much every night and have yet to notice anything. I think I'm going to start using the prepaid method for ordering from now on. What exactly could be the culprit here? I'm not really familiar with how online payments are processed so I'm completely lost as to what the reason for this could be.

On a good note...I just got a shipping notice. Happy Friday everyone!

It could be any number of sources that could be infected. Like last Christmas season when Target got hacked if I remember right it wasn't the store itself who got hit, it was the company they use to process their card payments. That bit of malware was written by a 15 year old in Russia. Home Depot just announced 56 million card numbers are at risk from a hack of their system that went from April to September.

Homeland Security said around another 1,000 retailers may have caught the virus as well.

It's getting scary to buy anything these days.

I made my first Ahlusion order in several months about two weeks ago. Wish I had known that there was something afoot with the Ahlusion online orders getting credit card hacks. The next time I checked my statement I had 6 fraudulent charges for $49.95 each. Unfortunately I used my debit so chances are I won't get my money back. Card canceled and lots of trouble getting a new one (time, hassle, etc.).

Can I pin it 100% on my Ahlusion order? No. But the timing fits. Unless I was one of the 56 million caught in the Home Depot hack that went from April until last Saturday (edit: it was April to September) and they just got around to my card number. But I haven't shopped at Home Depot in quite a while. And what with several other people here getting hit shortly after an Ahlusion order...

Wow, Wells Fargo always refunds me fraudulent charges on my debit card.

Knock wood, I have not been hit this year.

I don't blame any vendor for this stuff. It's just going to happen because there are Homo Stupiens out there who can figure out how to hack accounts. You notify the credit card folks about it, in some cases call the fake vendor and give 'em what-for, and it gets refunded to your card. Annoying, but I've begun thinking of it as a sport - outwitting the creeps!

I definitely don't blame the vendor. I can't share your admirable positive attitude though; it might be not having or being able to obtain an actual credit card or maybe (probably) I'm just grumpy, but I can't see it as sport. ;->

Hey guys. I recently tried Lemon Vanilla Cake sweetened (like Sharon gets it), and I think it's really good. I may have to try it unsweetened first before I draw any final conclusions, but right now I'm vaping the hell out of it. :)

I also sampled Neutral, and I'm really surprised most people here love it. It tastes sort of "dirty" to me (like leather and charcoal), leaving an aftertaste that makes me go BLAGH! Definitely not for me. :(

As I have been hit with the $49.00 charge two separate times on two separate cards, both after purchasing liquid from Ahlusion, I hate to say it but I'm going to wait till this clears up till I order again. Great juice and I love it but to much hassle to deal with constantly watching my CC account.

What an interesting journey with LVC. 50/50 and not sweetened with the default mix. Fresh in my test dry burn it dripper and way to much "tart" and barely any vanilla and cake was MIA. It vaped nothing like the yummy "nose". Then 5 hours in the UC which is kinda outside the box for me with this kind of mix. Tart/lemon had faded a little but still not enough vanilla. Live and learn I said so maybe it's "just sit" /settle time for a week or two. Saw your post and said lets try it again in the elcheapo dry burn me dripper. BINGO! Time for the real deal flavor beast RM2 + Organic Cotton + REO Mini Love. WOW! That's an outstanding mix with a perfect balance of just enough tart/lemon to pop what I guess is more than one type of "vanilla. Cake is very subtle and IMHO, more of a "body/container". Both lemon and vanilla on the draw. Rich, smooth, well balanced, and tricky as hell to pull off from my own failed DIY efforts.

:)

Yeah neutral definitely threw me off the first time I tried it. Was not expecting that heavy of a tobacco taste. I have come to really enjoy it though...its what I currently have in my kayfun.

Maybe if we all telephoned Ahlusion and told them about these bogus charges all on the same day, they would get the message and look into their credit card processor or get their security/computer guru to sweep their computers for virus or malware. There are too many of us getting hit too often right after we make a purchase from Ahlusion.

What day do you all want to call? I am in.

Something is definitely going on with their site. I used my wife's CC this week and it was charged shortly after for $49. That's two credit cards in the last two weeks for us. I hope Ahlusion does something to fix this. With this many hits on their customers shortly after placing orders it's something that shouldn't be ignored.

Sadly I didn't learn my lesson after the first time. I had only bought from Ahlusion and got a fraud charge of 49.95 within a few days time. Then used my credit card (a new card) at a later time a few months later, only at ahlusion, and it happened again. Time for me to invest in prepaids, it's quite annoying to have this happen twice.

Just checked my gift card - money all safe and sound. Generic Visa gift car - the kind where you can put $20 - 500 on. All safe and sound. My latest Ahl order shipped yesterday.

Yep. hit again. $49.95 PureClean

I have two feedback coupons, but I'm not placing an order until I get a prepaid. I was hit after my last Ahlusion order. Off to the store I go.

I tried calling Ahlusion a few times in the past hour and their voicemail says they are closed. Will try again Monday. I sent them a polite email requesting to talk to someone about the credit card issue. Hopefully we can figure out where the security leak is. I ran software to see if I had some type of malware on my pc and it came back clean so I do not think it is coming from my computer.

I love Ahlusion and I am upset that this problem keeps happening. Ahlusion is my only juice vendor and I do not want to lose them.

I'm going to have to call them when I want to order from them again - hopefully they would do a phone order once I explain the weirdness with my Kaiku card not being accepted by their online checkout system. I deactivated my credit union debit card yesterday and absolutely won't use the replacement at *any* online vendor including them again. I love Ahlusion, the only juices I buy from other vendors are cinnamons - but no juice is worth exposing my bank account to fraud over. :(

I am going to talk to Ahlusion about their policy of not accepting Prepaid credit cards. I think this would put a lot of their current customer's fears to bed and attract some new customers. With the hacking being as rampant as it is these last few months I would think that Ahlusion would welcome any way to help their customers be safe and feel secure using their site. They do say that Customer Service is very important to them on their site.

I do believe the problem is with their credit card processor and not Ahlusion. I do not know what it would take for Ahlusion to get after their processor to beef up their security or for them to change processors. It is probably a big deal. I am going to ask them for their credit card processor's name so I can forward it to my credit card company and see what they can do. But I do feel they (Ahlusion) have a responsibility to do whatever they can to protect their customers' credit card information.

I am also looking into a 'virtual credit card' option that my bank (Citibank) is offering to see if that would be a successful solution to this situation for me. I wonder if other people's bank or credit unions offer something like that for debit cards?

I am insisting that my credit card company send me my new card via FedEx overnight. Sooner or later I am hoping that many people will do this and the banks will get sick of paying outrageous fees and manhours to keep reissuing new credit cards to their customers and will work harder to combat this cancer.

I have used Citi's virtual card system and its safe and very easy. Each time you want to use the card online it creates a fake card number and you set the amount it can be used for and for how long. You can get your check- out amount and set the limit at that exact amount so stealing it would do nothing for anyone. Its pretty cool.
