Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3

I like to try a new flavor when my wife and I go on special trips. Last week we went to Wrightsville Beach, NC to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary, so I filled up a fresh kayfun with Raspberry Sunset. It's pleasant, but not a reorder for me. Fortunately, I had my 2nd kayfun loaded with my faithful favorite, Caramel Wild Wood. It's been a week, and the Raspberry Cream tank was still 3/4 full. I took a couple hits, and said, "Meh- can't vape this anymore." Cleaned out the Kayfun and loaded it with a 4 month old sample of Pineapple Upside Down Cake, a new flavor for me, though I've been a long time Pineapple Cream fan. OMG! It's divine! Seems smoother than Pineapple Cream.

Wrightsville was some happy times for me. Lived there for a short while when I was a boy. Newell's Department store, Faircloth's seafood, Johnny Mercer's (old) pier, King Neptune. All of it long gone but I did hear the Neptune was reborn recently and Jonny Mercer's rebuilt though neither is what it used to be.

Just dropping in and saying how much I love this company. I'm on my second batch of juice and the Raspberry white tea is at 50/50 is excellent in my Kayfun, and the Strawberry vanilla cake is awesome in my dripper. I also picked up samples of gold rising and american blend no 3 and I'm floored at how good they are. Several other flavors on hand to try as well. Thumbs up all around.

I just had a chance to try apple wildwood and cherry wildwood. I think these are all going to need some steeping time. The fruit flavor on the wildowoods is up front and cetnter but I'm not picking up on much tobacco. For anyone that uses these flavors on a frequent basis how long do you usually let it steep for? Going to re-wick my dripper and give the vecchio and alpha centauri a try.

Pineapple USD was the first flavor I tried from AHL. I have never looked back since...lol. I still have a few bottles of 18 mg that I was using in a carto tank. Since experimenting with their tobacco flavors I haven't really been vaping any fruity/baking flavors though so its been a while.

Sublime and Jump N Jive are my tart and tangy faves. I get them both with Breeze. Don't hesitate if you're looking for puckery goodness!

Zing! has a tart option. Haven't tried that version yet but the sweet option was good.

Hi everyone. Here is my update on my credit card escapades. I emailed Wlad at Ahlusion on Saturday evening.

He responded and gave me a website that scans a website for SSL Server tests. It is Qualys SSL Labs. You can run a test on any website before you purchase something. Ahlusion came up with a grade of 'A'.

On Monday afternoon I spoke with Wlad for an extended time regarding the server security and credit card fraud issues. It was a productive conversation and I am confident he is doing all in his power to provide a secure environment for credit card purchases on his website and in his stores. He has had significant conversations with his credit card processor and the processor is running scans daily for fraud or weak spots. He runs daily for virus and malware on his servers. Wlad has a background in computer forensics so there is no doubt that he knows what he is doing concerning this issue.

Ahlusion will not take any financial information over the telephone. No financial information is ever in the hands of any Ahlusion employee. What we enter on the website goes directly to the cc processor and is not available to anyone at Ahlusion to see. So, no phone orders.

Wlad tells me that the Ahlusion website will accept Prepaid Credit Cards (not gift cards) as long as your address is tied to it. So if you want to use a Prepaid credit card, make sure you register the card with your address on the cc website.

Ahlusion will also accept a 'virtual' credit card. So that is the safest option available for someone purchasing online.

Wlad advises all to Never use a Debit Card on any website, including his. They do not provide the same protections as a credit card.

Wlad also shared with me that he has been hit with a $49.95 fraud charge on one of his credit cards during this year and he does not buy at Ahlusion. (lol) He talks with other vendors and businesses daily and this is a wide spread problem.

I am satisfied with the results of our conversation and will keep ordering from Ahlusion with confidence. But I will do my part by getting a virtual credit card number for any online order with all of my future purchases at all vendors. I need to make sure I am doing all I can to protect myself.

Oh, and I took him to task for being out of stock on my Caramel Pear Black Tea and Smooth Criminal. He promised me that they will be back in stock soon, as soon as he has the ingredients he is out of. And he told me to watch for some more sales coming up.

First, Shari, I wanted to thank you for following up on this. In no way do I think Ahlusion is "responsible" for the fraudulent charges we all are getting. I do think that their credit card processor is not as secure as they think they are. This is pretty obviously affecting more than just Ahlusion customers, and I think that MANY credit card processors are not as secure as they think (or would like to think) they are. I, for one, will not be doing any more online shopping without added protection, such as the ShopSafe program through BofA, or what sounds like a very similar program through Citi. Those of us who are old enough to remember coming of age in the 80's will remember the feeling... No more unprotected fun for me!

I did order Sublime with Flurries based (I thought) on one of your recommendations Penny. It taste like pure menthol to me. Not getting anything else. Wish I would have left the menthol off. It is about 4 weeks old and will probably go in a box to trade off

You're right, chanel, and I'm sorry about that. I realized pretty quickly that anything above Breeze was too much. I have a few here that I also cannot use.

I just broke into my several months old tart version of Zing! and it is good but I didn't get to sample much of it because the new pyrex Kayfun tank I put it in didn't have a good seal so it leaked all over. Zing! is definitely a tank cracker so be careful what you use it in. I'm letting my Zing! (sweet) steep a bit before I try it as it's only a week or two old.

The Lemon Berry Kiss strawberry lemonade is sweet and tart as well, you can specify berry = lemon, lemon > berry or berry > lemon for that flavor. I prefer equal berry and lemon. I tried Lemon Berry Kiss once with the Breeze option and didn't like it nearly as much.

One of my sweet tart go to flavors is Black PomPom from The Vapor Chef (pomegranate, black currant and lemon).

edit: got the name of Lemon Berry Kiss wrong for some reason.

Best By Date: Not sure if there is a consensus of how many Months that some of you have gone past the Best By Date for Ahlusion juice.

The reason I am asking is the Planning Sheet has a number of November for Best By Date. I do not have a hope of Vaping them by the end of November.

Any experience in the number of Month's past the printed date?
