For anyone wanting to try an rda, but would rather stick to "clones" (for whatever reasons), I recommend using ebay. Two big reasons: 1) very low prices and 2) you can shop specifically for the brand of "clone" you want and even shop to see if the seller has a return policy! With that, I have been able to try out several items, but if something is amiss, those that I buy from will send a replacement and many times without you even needing to send back the original one. Ebay kinda undercuts the major vendors, but considering it's all of cutthroat game (everywhere), the penny profit market is your best bet for your dollar if you don't have an inexhaustible supply of them.

p.s. The thing with ebay being a buyer-centric market is that sellers go to extremes to satisfy the customer and avoid negative feedback.

This is very good advice MR Mann. I do buy a lot from Ebay and I think they are probably buying from Fasttech but I pay a few dollars more to deal with someone in the states that cares if you are happy. As someone that buys and re-sells designer handbags I can tell you Ebay holds its sellers to almost impossible standards and the customer has the clout.

Appreciated Sirius, it's always good to get the scoop from the folks that know the juice. First time buyer so I want to make sure I get the build right. I'm going to get that one going and give them another try tonight.

NP man..I use 50/50 VG/PG now but whatever the PG/VG on the fruits I've found around 1.0 ohm to work best. ;)

Yeah, as someone that too sells on ebay (non-vpape gear), it is difficult at times for sellers, but buyers, as you said, do have the clout and benefit of the doubt.

Hi Dustmight! The NET-Master! How's it going?

I will try the Vanilla Black Tea, for sure. Your excellent review of Tarte Tatin Apple inspired me to try it again and I was not disappointed.

BTW, I finally got a chance to try some Castle Long Reserve and it was completely delicious. I've waited a long, long time to try that one, and... wow. Is that the one that you can't vape due to the almond in it, or was it GR?

Hope you are doing well. VBT will be on the next order!

I'm doing good, hope the same for you. Yep, CLR is the one I can't have in any significant quantity. Which is so upsetting because it's such a great liquid. IMO, they don't really need the almond! I'm glad you're enjoying the apple tart as well. I keep large quantities on hand because I go through it that fast!

Does anyone know how the caramel in Carmel Apple compares to Gold Member?

I'm going to have to frankenstein Gold Member, it's way too intense for me.

I don't know the answer to your question Susan, but I do know that AHL uses several different caramels.

I agree that Gold Member is way too intense/dark/gunky; however, the caramels used in CWW and CPBT are lighter and exquisite!

My guess would be that the Caramel Apple uses one of the lighter caramels, so as not to overwhelm the Ida apple flavor. :)

I found it to be the same. It's just plain weird to me.... it almost taste like it wants to be a cigar vape but comes across like a stale Newport.

I revisited my bottle of Dulce Cubanito this week, after a two month steep. I was surprised, very nice and authentic flavor. The cherry note is so far in the backdrop that you have to look for it to find it. This is a good thing in my opinion.

Thank you!:) I love CWW & CPBT -- so it's a 30ml bottle for me! I have let SO many coupons pass me by that I am going to use my last one tonight.

I know exactly what you mean about the caramel in Gold Member. I just don't like it, though I love the creamier, softer caramel used in CWW and CPBT.

Here's an odd fluke that happened recently. I had two small bottles of X-press CPBT that I bought at the same time. I opened one of them and at first vape I knew something was off about it. It had the GM caramel in it instead. It was unmistakeable. I tried to vape it, but that Gold Member caramel was cloying and just not pleasant. So I opened the other X-press bottle and ... ahh, my beloved (good) Caramel Pear Black Tea! I plan to frankenmix the other bottle with something.

I really can't imagine them using the Gold Member caramel with apple. That would be just wrong. I'm going to try Caramel Apple, and I have high hopes that it will be great.
