Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3

Latest order received, gave them a sample taste but they are all custom so going in the steep drawer. Quite impressed with three, and one's an.. uh oh.

Autumn Mist is fantastic, I'm very impressed how this tastes fresh. I'm getting a slightly boozy hard cider note which may steep out, but it's not boozy in a bad way. Mainly tastes like cooked apples and pears with various spices. Maybe cinnamon and pumpkin spice?

Neutral is also wonderful, both old school and unique. I do get an almost chocolatey note as I've read but not the ashy note some have reported. It's straight-up tasty with some interesting notes.

Sapphire is quite good, only spent a brief session with it but seems solid, and unique for an Ahl juice.

Smooth Criminal...... uh oh. Yep, totally different juice. Is this really what Wlad thinks steeped SC is supposed to taste like? Will it get better with age?

Jerms on the SC, I didn't keep mine long enough to know if it will improve with age. I don't normally steep A+. It is awful now IMO.

I asked for a sample of it with my order I placed on Sunday. I also bought a small bottle of Zing as per your input GD. Got the 'sweet' lemon.

Rick's and Ron's are both great. Those names though, folks...

In other news, I'm adding Sapphire to my Ahlusion A list. It's among their best.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have heard many experienced DIY's say adding cream is almost a necessity with fruit in order to bring out the best of the fruit flavor.
I do not taste cream at all in either Lemon Cream, Lime Cream or Raspberry Cream. I do in Coco Berry Cream.

I don't do watermelon but Sweet Cherry Something is always in my regular rotation. To me it tastes like a fresh cherry croissant. The cherry tastes like real cherries rather than candy, cough drops or medicine.

I would also suggest that you not rule out Ahlusion trying at least one of Ahlusion's fruit cream flavors. It might not be for you but Ahlusion's cream isn't really at all similar to other cream flavors I've tried. I find that the Ahlusion cream is something Wlad uses to counter bitterness and acidity to allow the true fruit flavor to shine rather than being a separate, distinct cream flavor layer.

Strawberry Banana! My first AHL love. I do not taste cream in that either!

Truthfully, I've yet to find any of the fruit creams that I didn't really like a lot. Strawberry Banana is probably my favorite but you will likely do better just picking on the basis of what fruits are your favorites.

You're scaring me 8-o.........I've been fishing for info on any Peachy Criminal reformulation. I guess it is inevitable. My #1 vape. Things are not looking good.

Why would he change SC. I mean they labelled it "the Legend" on the store homepage not so long ago. Seems silly to abandon the fan favorite altogether and not label the new blend something else entirely (see Coke vs New Coke). I have 120mls of the original formula unopened thankfully.

According to what I've read about Wlad's comments, it's just been a subtle change to shorten steeping. Maybe that's true, or Wlad thinks it's true, but straight from the mail it seems like a different juice to my taster.

It does indeed lack some of the sweeter, dessert notes of fresh SC that fade as it ages, but the notes have quite a different flavor than aged SC did for me.

If Wlad insists this is basically the same flavor, I'm kind of baffled since it's so different to me. I may end up liking it, no idea, but I certainly see how others have been so disappointed. I didn't expect such a drastic change.

If it really was just a small change in the formula (which it may be, small changes can make big differences), I would think it would be easy to make old SC. Do they do flavor changes at all these days? I was under the impression they did away with profiling from feedback and making custom juices, but maybe they'll rerelease the old SC as Classic Smooth Criminal if enough request it. Maybe that was Wlad's plan the whole time lol.

Well I'm absolutely baffled by a recent email from Wlad himself. This too was in regards to Smooth Criminal's drastic change and completely different flavor from somebody who used it as their number 1 ADV. I've sent messages back and forth the last week and was sent out a new batch that was just a bit sweeter and again was disappointed that I no longer have my favorite juice. It gets better....and by saying that I mean worse! lol.

Here is a reply I just read a few minutes ago that most of you may find a bit shocking. This is word for word copy and paste from my email.

So does this mean they are just branding their juice and having others sell it for them? Or stopping their online business in total. Just doesn't make sense to build a brand and piss it away like this. I'm so upset I should probably let you guys chew on this while I figure out where to buy some new juice.

Gosh darnit not THIS again! I seriously can't take it. I read an e-mail six months ago (your e-mail will be deleted probably nicetucu, by the way - it's against forum rules to post private e-mails and messages without someone's permission) and there was a big stir about the ending of online sales. It had faded from my mind and I felt much better with all the sales, the feedback e-mails (and responses to them) and figured it was just a bunch of nothing. But to see it again .... man words cannot describe
