This isn't really the place for this, but since you guys are my buds, and I don't post elsewhere these days.. The 'vela arrived today
Just wanted to share.

Beautiful mod Mozzer! Definitely the unicorn of unicorns mod you've got there. She's a fine looking machine and congrats!

I'm dripping some Sweet Georgia Peach, using the 'vela and, of all things, an IGO-L. More than one irony there, one suspects!

It's my lightest rda - my only dripper, actually - and I can stand the 'vela without having to lock it. The old bottle of Sweet Georgia Peach is not dated, but the label looks like it's been around for a decade. LOL. I imagine it's about a year old. The peach is a bit faint, but it always was against the strong aromatic. Tasty! I still have nearly a full 30 of Vurley and the same of Maple Burley, and maybe one other aro... I'll have to comb through all the bottles to see.

Edit: nope, that was it. Just the 3 aros left.

No "Smokin' Cherries" stashed away somewhere?

I got a small bottle of it one time but the smell was just way too intimidating for me to ever vape being that I'm not a huge tobacco vape lover. I've always wondered if someone made an ejuice that tasted like grandpa's pipe tobacco smelled.... I guess that's what drew me to ever even buying a small of Cherries.

I've always wondered if someone made an ejuice that tasted like grandpa's pipe tobacco smelled.... I guess that's what drew me to ever even buying a small of Cherries.

I replaced the wick in the IGO-L and I'm now dripping CLR in honor of you and your gift. Thank you again!

edit: I know it's the Ahlusion thread but the new Five Pawns juice is being released tomorrow, "Black Flag Fallen." I know it's a double espresso vape and I think with some desert elements as well but I could be wrong with the second part. They're also doing a Willy Wonka-esque thing where 5 bottles nationwide will have a gold ring on the bottle's dripper up by the cap (so you can't cheat and see it) that wins you a trip to the Five Pawns mothership in LA.

I actually went by Five Pawns in Irvine, CA yesterday and tried the Black Flag Fallen. They don't mean chocolate truffle, it's absolutely mushroom truffle. And frankly, it wad really pretty good!!

Edit: and its a decaf Italian roast. And tastes like one. So not pikes place.

Orange Nocturne - best by 10-2014 (where does the time go? can't believe it's that old already). Anyway, I loaded it into the Krakken this evening. Was craving something rich. This one definitely improved with age. Was a tad cloying when I tried it all those months ago. It's much smoother now, and doesn't seem so sweet. I didn't get it sweetened. Not sure if it will have legs for me, but I'm enjoying it tonight. Rich dark chocolate with a candied orange. Delectable!

The Orange Nocture was one of my first tries from Ahlusion, and I have never run out. It is definitely a Go To for me, but I Iove dark chocolate, and with Candied Orange?! No brainer. Easily one of their most unique vapes. I absolutely cannot live without this one.

Those are the most beautiful mods in the world, IMHO. Alas, I have absolutely no use for a mech--and using this as a paper weight would be sin.

Thanks for that, Katya. I'm afraid you'd have to buy a flip - something Pedro frowns upon, actually. There will only be 1000, ever supposedly, and they're all spoken for. I waited a long time for a shot to get on an alternate list, many months ago, and failed, just barely. I was a bit heartbroken. I pretty much just forgot about it, but apparently I was on a list for cancellations, and got an email out of the blue that said one had my name on it. It's something I'll keep forever, I think. Even if I ever stop vaping.

I had no idea they were in irvine until I googled them. I'm really not familiar with this area as I'm here temporarily (9 months now) for business. Cool place and they were really helpful and friendly. (Even rebuilt my coil for me to show me their preferred build)

Their juices are interesting. I won't say I love them, but I am fascinated by some of the flavors. Ended up buying two bottles. Won't be my ADV, but will be fun to have as a change of pace once in a while.

Still waiting for my first Ahl order, so I'm hoping I find a more ADV type juice in that order.

As a side note, while there seem to be some great vape shops in the Irvine area, I've really struggled to find good juices!

Several ECF oldtimers like to hang out there. Tons of juice--I haven't been there in a while, but now I want to go and visit them again.

Also, a nice scenic drive on PCH--but not in the rain.

Your supposition makes sense, but Wlad himself gave completely different reasons :

- The "aromatics" were discontinued because the cost of producing them was too high and sales were not high enough to justify continued production.

- The non-aromatics were not and are not NET's ( despite what was written on the site previously ). There is no actual tobacco used in the production of Ahl tobacco's currently and they are entirely lab-made. Smooth Criminal was the only "tobacco" to have undergone a change, and that was only in the method of production ( not ingredients ) in order to expedite steeping. According to Wlad the majority of his customers ( at least the in store ones ) prefer the new SC.

Thanks for posting! I love Wlad to pieces....however I don't believe any of this. It totally contradicts YEARS of earlier claims.. If the cost of making aromatics were too high, he could have raised the price. SC was a NET. And... everyone liked the old SC formula better
