Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3

Some of you may remember being at the other place, but I remember there asking Wlad to make a whole bunch of liquids (including an amaretto) and his reply was, "it can't be done without using (insert those chemicals)". At the time, I remember thinking, how is it all those other places do it, yet they are all stated to be free of it? LOL. Yeah, what a difference a couple years can make. It is possible, but considering what'll be missing, it'll also likely be that the taste won't send the correct signals.

Hi Mr Mann and Happy New Year to all! I don't hang in the forum much any more but signed in just to respond to this. Wlad makes truly and gloriously delicious juices but for me it's his integrity re safety that's kept me super-loyal and loving for years now. He's idiosyncratic and sometimes cranky but that's part of the kind of character that can hang onto principle and I admire it. Dunno what I'd do without Ahlusion.
Or my buddies in this forum - I almost didn't remember that this is my 5 year smoke-free anniversary in here. Best resolution I ever made.

Haven't had my Smooth Criminal original (Godfather) for a while now and beyond excited at this point.

Glad enough people spoke up that they returned the old flavor with a new name. I came so close to quitting vape entirely because of this lol. Via facebook there seems to be a 30% sale to January 6th. I'm sure they are just swamped with orders right now.

Okay so now that I've worked myself through all of Ahlusion's offerings I wanted to since I first found them, I'm looking deeper into flavors I might like that I skipped over because of their name i.e. Moonlight Serenade. Anyone have any other peach, pear, or mango recommendations? I will say I wasn't crazy on Mango Lassi (well steeped). But all in all their peach and mango and pear flavors are just perfect so I'm looking to expand my horizons! Van Mango maybe?

After trying it for the first time, it dawned on me-- I've never had the original Smooth Criminal. This stuff is so different than anything else, it's special.

I've been venturing on the same path as of late. Some of my surprise finds are probably ones you have tried already.


I'm curious to hear how many assorted flavors from Ahlusion most of us keep on hand. After exhausting the space in yet another drawer, I counted my Ahlusion flavors. I was a bit shocked, I'm at 35--only 4 of those are 10ml bottles. Out of those 35 flavors from Ahlusion there is only one I don't like.

I recently started doing this too. Heres my take on the not so much mentioned ones.
I am currently enjoying Apple Berry Splash and although it is good it does not blow my socks off. This week I ordered Lemon Berry Kiss and last week I ordered Strawberry Sunset. Both off of recommendations I heard here. Obviously neither have been tried.
Pink Label is a glorious mix of different Strawberries.
Van Mango is the best Mango I have ever had. No Lassi (Yogurt taste) in it which is probably what you have an aversion to.
Jump N Jive is very Lime forward.
Luna Fortuna did nothing for me and seemed to be menthol y in a weird way
I consider Moonlight Serenade from time to time but I am worried about this in the description "cooled by summer breezes."
The Ron Effect was a welcome surprise for tart and sweet at the same time. Loads of flavor
Summer Tide is great but has coconut-not sure if that is your gig or not

I believe someone noted here a few months ago that they had asked about Coconut Macaroon and Wlad responded that he has sold the Coconut Macaroon recipe to another vendor but wouldn't say which one.

Thanks Chanel. I did get a sample of apple berry splash awhile back and it's very good. I asked for a sample of rune in my last order. I'll definitely try van mango too. What you speak of in moonlight serenade concerns me as well but I'll probably ask for it anyway when I pick up another 60ml of LVC. I will add, strawberry vapes just don't seem to be my thing, but that's probably because I'm just not a huge strawberry fan. I much prefer peaches, pears, mangos, blueberries and blackberries IRL. I so wish they had something blackberry!

Yes! I love the tart, and this is my favorite for a true lime taste (without the Cream). I find it to be a great balance of sweet and tangy.

Out of curiosity, what is your current nic level and how many mg do you vape per day. I am about 20 months off cigs and at 12 mg/ml and don't have any pans to go down. Is this normal ?

I don't know if you were asking Aubergine or me, but my nic level is 12mg (and has been for over 3 years: I actually started out too low, i.e. 8-11mg). I have no plans to decrease that, ever. (Nic is very good for my brain.) I don't know how many mgs I vape on an average day; it must be somewhere between 6 - 10 mgs!

Good to hear, i see so many people go down to 6 or 3 mg, that i felt i am doing something wrong ! I don't have an issue with nicotine either and i like the throat hit at 12. You do vape a bit more than me though, i must say !

I still vape at 24 mg/mL (or higher), but only when using an ol' school atty on a spinner or the like. If I am vaping out of an RDA on my DNA 30, which I do about half the time, I vape at 3-6 mg/mL. In reality, the consumption of nic stays the same if you factor in the amount of vapor that is produced in a heavy-vapor producing device vs. a low(er)-vapor producing device. I produce about ~4x as much vapor (and go through ~4x as much liquid) from RDAs vs the other, so the nic consumption stays about the same except the liquid consumption goes up. So it could be construed as more economical to vape higher nic, and I actually prefer the hit off of a regular attys, but the flavor out of RDAs is just more -- not necessarily better, but more. The thing is though, consuming ~4x as much nic (like out of an RDA) in one hit will creep up on yo' tail with the quickness and it won't be fun when it takes hold -- and L-Theanine is only gonna help so much. LOL. So I had to drop the nic with RDAs.

Agreed. I think too many people are more concerned about mg/ml whereas total nic consumption is more relevant if you want to taper down ( i don't ). I have read that about 40 % of the nicotine in juice is absorbed through vaping although i'm not sure if there have been studies done on this. Whatever the percentage, it is a lot less than through smoking.
