Agreed. I think too many people are more concerned about mg/ml whereas total nic consumption is more relevant if you want to taper down ( i don't ). I have read that about 40 % of the nicotine in juice is absorbed through vaping although i'm not sure if there have been studies done on this. Whatever the percentage, it is a lot less than through smoking.

For sure. But I wouldn't say it's less than smoking, just different. And it also depends, of course, on what level you vape at, how much and what you use to vape (in terms of nic absorption). With vaping, in general, the nic is absorbed in a way where it slowly ramps up vs. smoking where it spikes quickly and then drops off similarly fast. But, take ONE hit off of an RDA at 36 mg/mL and see how quickly the common wisdom goes out the window about nicotine absorption from vaping being slow. It really just depends as vaping has so many variables vs. smoking where it's pretty standardized.

Note: and of course with smoking you are getting the complete tobacco alkaloid profile which also takes the two and makes the playing field not even close to being even.

I recently started doing this too. Heres my take on the not so much mentioned ones.
I am currently enjoying Apple Berry Splash and although it is good it does not blow my socks off. This week I ordered Lemon Berry Kiss and last week I ordered Strawberry Sunset. Both off of recommendations I heard here. Obviously neither have been tried.
Pink Label is a glorious mix of different Strawberries.
Van Mango is the best Mango I have ever had. No Lassi (Yogurt taste) in it which is probably what you have an aversion to.
Jump N Jive is very Lime forward.
Luna Fortuna did nothing for me and seemed to be menthol y in a weird way
I consider Moonlight Serenade from time to time but I am worried about this in the description "cooled by summer breezes."
The Ron Effect was a welcome surprise for tart and sweet at the same time. Loads of flavor
Summer Tide is great but has coconut-not sure if that is your gig or not

I wrote and asked Wlad about that Coconut Macaroon one because I am dying for a Macaroon ish or Marzipan ish one. Something dessert y

Moonlight Serenade is only "cooled by summer breezes" if you get it with Breeze (or some other mint/menthol addition). Otherwise, it's just a very, very nice peach/mango combination. I get it with Breeze, which is light menthol, but with NO mint. I don't think I like the A+ mint flavor, and this definitely doesn't have any of it.

I believe someone noted here a few months ago that they had asked about Coconut Macaroon and Wlad responded that he has sold the Coconut Macaroon recipe to another vendor but wouldn't say which one.

Apologies if i am mistaken.

I'm the one who asked him about the Coconut Macaroon, and you are right. That's exactly what he said.

Ha! I vape like a madman..I should cut back to 3mg. I won't of course .. but I should. I've read too many benefits of nicotine to cut down any further. :)

Thanks Chanel. I did get a sample of apple berry splash awhile back and it's very good. I asked for a sample of rune in my last order. I'll definitely try van mango too. What you speak of in moonlight serenade concerns me as well but I'll probably ask for it anyway when I pick up another 60ml of LVC. I will add, strawberry vapes just don't seem to be my thing, but that's probably because I'm just not a huge strawberry fan. I much prefer peaches, pears, mangos, blueberries and blackberries IRL. I so wish they had something blackberry!

Got a sample of Van Mango coming. I'll let you know. Oh and Jenna..do you like the XPress LVC better than the fresh?
I order my LVC XPress.

Yep. Even some non-smoking bodybuilders supp with it (not to say that some random bodybuilder is a paragon of health, just that nic truly does have wide reaching benefits). I've even read posts by several (on BB.com) that were never smokers but say they had no problems quitting nic, but caffeine on the other hand was not so easy. [They usually supp with it for cutting phases which can last a month or so and may use up to >10mg per day.]

Anyhoo, check out his site that I reference for supps; they have a page for nic: Nicotine - Scientific Review on Usage, Dosage, Side Effects | Examine.com (That site stays open on my computer. LOL)

Nic is nice.

I believe the SS is sweeter, IMO!
As for the difference in the Godfather, SC, the SC was the original and needed steeping time for perfection and some people didn't like waiting for it. The change was made to shorten this time and some people didn't like this change, imagine that! The formula for the original was better (yes I agree) and we wanted it back. So, Godfather was invented, so to speak!

I think SSC has much more flavor than SVC which I found to be very mild in taste. I also think you can taste more Strawberry in SSC.
Smooth Criminal is the one the reformulated to not need steeping time that all the lovers of SC hated. So they brought back the old (before reformulation) and called it "The Godfather." (was probably the plan all along)
where ya been? You have not heard any of this?

Nic is nice.

I linked to this article in a different thread about all the studies being done on nicotine as a potential treatment for memory problems, Parkinsons etc ... and how it's not as addictive as once thought without the other nornicotines :

Nope, not by itself. And that's kinda of the tragic thing about nic. We have so many vaping ex-smokers that themselves are unwittingly conflating nicotine with smoking, which further oppresses nicotine. People will say, "I've smoked for 50 years, I am addicted to nicotine!", but while I am not discounting the roll nicotine played, the truth was really that they were addicted to a certain kind of tobacco consumption and all that it delivered -- and it sure as hell wasn't simply a nicotine delivery product.

I enjoyed reading it to and I think I read it before. My ADD keeps me from absorbing so much. Hence the next question for any of you (Mann, Maz) that follow this kind of stuff
would you say that if one quit smoking cigarettes they have basically quit the hard stuff and the rest (vaping) is just a pacifier?

Well, sorta. There'll always be the pull of the full spectrum of junk in our former habit -- but I guess it gets less and less the further away you get from it. That's one reason why vapers fall off the wagon: the nicotine sometimes ain't enough, becasue it wasn't by itself the original pull. I don't know if I would call vaping a pacifier, but, well, I guess it kinda is. LOL. Pacifiers are great tools for weaning, though my baby weaned cold turkey.
