I quit counting.....too many to mention! Ha
You seem to be good at math, but the 2nd coupon is not a percentage off the original price, it is a percentage off the discounted price. $100 of juice at 35% off is $65. Then the 2nd 15% is taken off the $65 price, not the $100 original price, so the total comes to $55.25, not $50 (35%+15%).
Yes, you are correct. Lol why didn't I think of that! Hence not so good at math lmao.
And I just checked the FREE SHIPPING option...it's there! How the hell did I miss that? I'm slipping in my middle age.
Just placed an order. These 35% off sales, coupled with gold status are too hard to pass by.
My largest order to date -- Over 300 ml of juice.... So much for honing down my juice supply...
Ordered the favorites:
- Caramel Apple
- Lime Cream
- Sirius
Trying, for the first time:
- Alpha Centauri
- Pineapple Upside Down Cake
- Zing
- Raspberry Cream
- Poppin Peach
- Orange Creamsicle
- Moonlight Serenade
- Luna Fortuna
- Crescent Moon
- Strawberry Vanilla Cake
- Raspberry Mojito
Hopefully, I did okay and will enjoy the new flavors!
And I'm justifying my large order with the idea that I got my new Earlkonigin and am going through around 6ml - 10ml juice a day... So really, it's necessary, right?!?
I couldn't resist the sale either. Big bottle of Crescent Moon, smaller bottle of an old favorite I miss lately, Luna Fortuna. I asked for a sample of the Billow Berry too. I was torn between that and Fort Custard but I'd like to see more reviews of that one. Not sure I'd like a custard vape.
Also, I haven't seen any new entries in the wonderful Googledoc spreadsheet that Lisa made for us long ago. A great way to keep track of what you've tried and how much you like it. I think it's ok to post a link to it here?
Is billow berry supposed to be a cereal vape? I'm getting a big time crunch berries thing from it. I was expecting it to be like a blueberry version of memory lane and cresent moon, but this is very different. I like it though!
I was curious so I went through and counted 106 flavors that I know I tried....I probably forgot a few. Lol. I refuse to count how many I keep in stock! I was checking the fridge yesterday and discovered that I have 3 60mls of Sweet Surrender, Pineapple Cream, Mango Lassi, Chai Latte, and Lemon Cream. 2 of Rick's Request, Lime Cream, and Strawbery Shortcake. I think I overstocked a bit.
I'm working on using up flavors and I've switched to only buying one 60ml at a time. Plus for the first time I ordered a couple of favorite flavors in 30ml. I'm making progress!
I wasn't sure about Fort Custard either but I had to try it out. I decided not to order more yesterday so now my 30ml is almost empty and I vaped 2 tanks of it last night. It will be on my next order. It just needed a week of steeping.
Thanks so much for responding! Don't have a juice cellar, so relative darkness at 68 will have to do. I'm hopeful about the a Lemon Cream. That, and the Mango Lassi, were the initial attraction. I keep trying lemon vapes, but so many vendors do a lemon pie sort of thing, and it never tastes quite right. Those always end up in the PIF box![]()
I love the way(s) Ahlusion does lemon. You simply MUST try their Lemon Vanilla Cake!!![]()
Did u taste any lemon in your custard?
...
Fort Custard
This liquid, much like Alton, blew me away at first. Very flavorful, almost-velvety, egg-y, slightly sweet and a *touch of lemon. It tasted to me to be a very, very solid offering into the 'safe' custard liquids out there.
*If I was a betting man, considering how much I've worked with this flavoring, I would say there is likely FA (FlavourArt) Custard in here. From what I've read, a lot of Italian custard recipes are "aromatized" with a some lemon peel (or zest) and as HIC has said, FA is an Italian company so it makes since that they would include that in their custard flavoring. But don't get it twisted, my speculation about one flavoring being in there is not the sum of Fort Custard. Not even close! Wlad has somehow built a custard base (the type of 'custard' that most people are looking for in a vape) and it feels pretty close but without the blanketing mouth-feel of diketones. So with this liquid you do have some mouth-feel and some of that sweet egg-y taste that I like -- and that little touch of lemon brightens it up a lot. It really is quite tasty. I don't know if most normal custard fans would feel this liquid hits the spot, but me not being a vaper of those liquids (the ones with diketones), it works for me. At this point I would definitely reorder this one, but it will not be from the MAX V line becasue I encountered the same problem as Alton with the flavor disappearing (though with Alton the loss of flavor was more drastic, likely becasue of how much initial flavor Alton had).
Good morning! Are there steeping recommendations for these juices? From reading this thread, it seems that they are good FOOB, but any guidance will be most appreciated. Here's what's coming (all are either 50/50 or 30/70, as recommended by Ahlusion):
Piña Colada
Mango Lassi
Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry Vanilla Cake
Cranberry Autumn
Raspberry White Tea
Raspberry Sunset
Peaches and cream
Lemon Cream
Yikes! I think I may have gone a bit overboard!
I will.Opinions are all over the place on this. As someone else said, just try them FOOB, then try them later, and keep notes.
BTW, what's in your cute bird's suitcase?
Holy shiz, are you AGREEING with me? Lol. Welp that settles it, Billow Berry is a crunch berry vape. Maybe they are calling it berries and cream to beat the "marketing to children" rap?A few weeks ago when I got that bottle that is exactly what I posted about and thought. When I got it though, I knew nothing of what it was supposed it taste like ('twas just a free bottle), so I did think it was a berry cereal or something of the like. I must say though, I really like it after a few days - a couple weeks, but it seems to continue steeping into something a little too bitter. I added some sweetener to mine and all is fine now. I wish W would let those liquids come with a sweetener option.
I added some sweetener to my bottle of Alton and that too seems to greatly benefit form some more sweetness. I sent Ahl a message on FB about adding the option to sweeten some of these new cream-based liquids, so I will keep you all apprised of what (if any) response I get back.
Man, B5 got a dude trippin' over here! LOL. Now I am sweetening liquids? Sheesh.
There's a new category at Ahlusion now...well, is it new? Nothing in it yet, but as of now there is a category called "Aromatic." Can't wait to see what is to come...
