The RSST will be perfect on an 8w. That's the one I first got for it. You can build a cotton micro for the RSST, as well, if you haven't already ;)

The things to look for are adjustability, like the center pin, as you pointed out, the button location and ease of use, and conductivity. A floating center pin just means you can adjust it for varying atty pin lengths. The 8w has a double screw for this purpose. You just back out the larger screw, attach the top cap to the atty, then turn the larger screw in until it stops. This assures a proper connection. You can then unscrew the smaller screw to take out any battery slop. You have to do this iteratively, by taking the cap on and off, but it's quick and easy.

The 8w has an incredibly low voltage drop, making it hit as hard as the Nemesis or Poldiac. Other Sigeleis don't do as well.

IMO a kick sort of defeats the purpose of using a mech. They are for those that like the styling of a mech but prefer the convenience of a VV/VW. They will limit the amount of power you can apply to your coils, but they will also not be susceptible to changes from battery drainage.

can you do cotton micro for Agat2 as well are the any video's?

My new pretty mech combined with a kayfun Lite. It made Gold Member an even more wonderful vape. The saltiness offsets the sweetness of the caramel just right. It was lovely while it lasted but I put a tad too much cotton in for the wick which cut off my wicking and eventually burned it :( I just couldn't get the burnt taste off the coil. Time for a new coil.

Sweet. The VR Nemmie is awesome. It was the first Nemesis I had my eye on. Wound up going for a brass and polished separately. The brass one is still stuck in customs in LA, though. Been 6 days there :(

You shouldn't have to replace the coil. Just dry burn it with no wick, then install a brand new wick, and you should be gtg.

Your Gold Member will thank you ;)

Thanks for the offer ya'll, very nice! :) Very sweet!

the_vape_nerd- not in NOLA, near Lafayette, but not far! I do make it there though, love NOLA! Ordered some e juice from there, including yummy King Cake vape! :p

Went to ortho today, need surgery on both elbows to move my dysfunctional nerves...Start with the right one first, then the left after that one has healed. Then maybe address neck problems, so glad I did not get into RBA! LOL! Really glad!

And I agree, Ahlusion is just fantastic!

I'm actually working a contract in Lafayette right now until the end of January. I wish there was a vape shop in town where I could buy rebuildable supplies. There's only one vape shop in town that I know of, Swamp Vapor, just up the street from me on Kaliste Saloom. They are new and don't have a ton of options yet but they seemed nice the one time I stopped in. Mainly eGo batteries, eVic, Evods and the like.

***Edit: Back on topic, all this talk of Ahlusion and I just had to place another order. Cafe Au Lait (w/sweetener), Kiwi Sea (sweet), Lemon Berry Kiss and Tarte Tatin Apple.

I just couldn't seem to get the black gunk off my coil. It was one of my first two attempts at building a micro coil and while it worked wonderfully for a time all I had on hand was 30G Kanthal which put the resistance a bit higher than I wanted (around 1.8-2 ohms). I just got in some 28G Kanthal and will build the new coil with that. Finally managed to find some organic cotton balls as well instead of the run-of-the-mill bleached variety. Plus it gives me a reason to tinker some more and refine my coiling skills :2cool:

The only drawback of the VR Nemesis is that I'm constantly wiping it down because I love to see it shine!

Is the Tarte Tatin Apple really comparable to Five Pawns Gambit? I really like Gambit but something about it just makes me not want to vape it for very long.

Has anyone tried Kiwi Sea in both varieties (sweet and sour)? I'm a big fan things like sour gummi worms, sour patch kids, etc. and was toying with the idea of asking if Wlad could combine the two in order to make something like that.

Also, on my last order I got the Black Peach Tea. How long would people recommend allowing it to steep? It's been steeping about 3 weeks now. I haven't tried it yet because when I open it up it has this strange chemical smell to it. I know smell doesn't always equal vape flavor but that smell just kind of puts me off of trying it.

Haven't tried Tarte Tatin Apple yet, but I always have Gambit around. Maybe you find it a bit rich? I don't vape any flavors that long, except maybe Smooth Criminal. I think I have palate ADD lol.

Edit: actually, I can vape Strawberry Vanilla Cake pretty steadily, too. I have it right now in a Kayfun Lite with 26g nichrome, 9 micro wraps for 0.6Ω. It's incredible. 1 second draw is a massive lungful and lovely flavor.

Smooth Criminal is in the exact same build on a Squape, which is a vacuum feeder like the Kayfun.

I too am a big fan of mechanical mods. I got my first one as a backup to my VAMO and they quickly became my main devices. I buy clones, as they fit nicely into my budget and are often nearly as good as the much more expensive originals. Have a KTS Storm (GG clone), K101 (Empire clone), all brass V3 (Sentinel clone) which is my favorite, and the Nemesis clone on the way.

Micro coiled 28ga Kanthal A1 at 1 ohm, with organic cotton ball wick, in a small dripper, on a mech.. gets me exactly the kind of vape I want.

Cashed Vurley last night, and finishing off Apple Wild Wood today.. two of my favorite Ahl-baccos. Really been eyeballing that Caramel Wild Wood for my next purchase. Moving from my waiting drawer to my current rotation this week will be Honey Cured, Melon-Berry Frost with breeze; and Limelight with breeze that were all gifted to me. Oh boy oh boy.

Can you or someone else tell me how long it usually takes to get a second email after placing your order? I'm really excited about trying Ahlusion, but I'm nervous that I haven't received a second email yet from my order I placed on Tuesday. I don't mind waiting at all, but that sentence in the first email about if your order is declined is what is making me nervous.

Thanks!

Depends on the size of the order. Small XPress orders go out almost immediately, and orders of over 5 flavors of the regular stuff can take several days to process before shipping.

Thank you! I didn't do xpress, I ordered four 10 ml bottles so maybe that takes a little longer. I hope so! Like I said, I do not mind waiting at all, just hoping that my order did go through. I'm so looking forward to trying them!

I just placed another order today...... but going back through my order history my last order was placed on August 26th (five 30ml bottles), I received the email that my order was being prepared on August 29th and awaiting shipment on August 29th. I deleted the emails for the order prior to that. I think on average for fresh made juice (xpress juice is premade/steeped but with fewer customization options) I wait 2-3 days for the "being made" email, maybe an additional day for shipping.

The website is currently stating 3-5 business days to process an order and I've never waited any longer. That's the advantage of only taking a limited number of orders per day. They know how many orders they can make per day so close the site after reaching that limit which keeps wait times down. It can be frustrating at times having to get up early to place your order but a nice way to speed this up is to create a wishlist then when the site opens just add that wishlist to the cart and proceed to checkout.

Taste is subjective and while I haven't loved every juice I've ordered from them I can say that I've never gotten a bad juice from this company.

I'd really like to try some of Ahlusion's juices but can you only get the 5mL in the xpress line?? Unfortunately only one juice I want to try is available in express, the other five are not. But fifty dollars is just too much for me to sample 6 juices.

Do they maybe have a sampler pack I'm missing?

(Their 30mL prices are only slightly high but the 10mL prices are ridiculous. I don't have a problem paying for bigger bottles of juice I know I like but I have to try them first and I'm not going to pay through the nose just to sample. Twenty to twenty-five dollars to sample half-a-dozen juices seems reasonable.)

I thought it was very different than gambit, personally. I had a hard time identifying apple in this one. I personally tasted mostly cinnamon. But those are MY tastebuds. Yours could be totally different. (and probably are) Anything is worth a shot. Gambit was a pretty fair balance between the fruit, crust, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I even tried mixing ATT with a vanilla ice cream flavor I have and it was still very different. ATT is a nice enough liquid, but just like gambit it is not. Just my humble opinion.

Nope, no sampler options. One thing that helps is the free 10ml bottle with a $20 order, so you can get 4 10ml for $27. 40ml for $27 isn't too bad. Then a couple weeks after you get your order you get a 15% off coupon, so $22.95 for 4 10ml bottles.

Damn......... I really need to try this Gambit one of these days.

ATT from Ahl doesn't really have my interest much, not really into cinnamon in vapes. If I tried it, I'd request to go light on the cinn.
