Every now and then I like to sit back and enjoy a premium Belgian beer. Tonight, I am enjoying an absolute treat of a combination of Cafe au Laut and Delirium Tremens.

I use to drink Belgian IPA's myself. That Blue Moon with the orange peel wasn't bad at all.

Agreed. It's interesting that as I move along in life, (My gentle way to say that I am getting old) I find that a few great beers are far more satisfying than several not so great beers. It's kind of like searching for that elusive ADV.

Yes Sir it is...I retired the blender and rum since the doctors banhammer but I'm going to drink a good ale or lager now and then. IPA's are fine but the Germans have beer making down pat. Dos Equis is a German lager. Most folks don't know that. Several American beers as well. That dark winter lager is to die for when it's available. Tuker man if you see it try a bottle. Good beer too fo sho!

Finishing up a sample of The Ron Effect tonight. Got it on a whim to try. Not bad, flavor is nice (cherry and pomegranate), just sometimes wish it had more flavor. Very subtle. Nice at times, but not a must have reorder. Too many other flavors I like better. Oh well, my first Ahlusion cherry flavor.

IPA beers are too hoppy for me. Sam Adams Octoberfest, or better yet looking forward to Winter Lager as the season moves on, YES! Ever had Kentucky Burbon Barrel Ale? Knock you on your .... good. Better on tap though, like most beer. And to think I couldn't even swallow beer until I got pregnant (he is 35 yrs old now) and then it was Miller light! Tastes change as we get older and more experienced.

Cathy no worries sweet dear one. And I agree, cherry is not Wlad's best flavor. Way to subtile in everything I've tried it in.
I'm with you on Sam Adams. Such a nice variety to choose from.

On the subject of beer, has anyone tried Sam Adams Porch Rocker? That's what I'm rocking lately.... Really good! I'm waiting for the Winter Lager to come out as well. Plus, the Oktoberfest sampler boxes to come out.
The only problem I have with drinking beer especially, is finding a liquid to vape. For me, drinking beer ALWAYS makes me want cigarettes or the flavor of cigarettes. Guess that comes from too many years of having them both together.

IMO Godfather and Sahara Blend go great with beer. While not CIG like in taste, those two and Deal Maker are unique. Godfather has a special place in my heart because it brought me back among Ahlusionati. Oh and it's damn good too. lol [emoji1]

I vaped so much Godfather when I first came out that I got tired of it. That's the old Smooth Criminal and is best FOOB. Steeped two or three weeks and you got present SC,..or some seem to think Idk as I've only had new SC once and it's a big nope

I ordered a 10ml sample of it along with all the other 10ml samples when I first started ordering Ahl... I haven't ordered any more in a couple of months. Life handed me lemons so I've been busy making lemonade without sugar so hopefully I'll be able to order more pretty soon. All of my much loved HS is gone.
